Unacceptably awful customer service, they truly do not care about your experience or whether you get what you paid for, including things like shipping guarantees. I will not shop somewhere that will happily take my money while making no effort at all to make sure they provide what was promised.

I have been a loyal customer of Sephora for decades and have spent a lot of money here. However, based on principle alone, I refuse to buy anything at this store again. I’m not one that returns product often. I went into the Bedford, NH Market Street location (no, not Kohl’s) to make a return. Apparently, I was 2 days over their 30 day return policy, yes- 48 hours past. They wouldn’t allow me to return the unopened items, because it was 2 days past. I asked if there was any way to override this, as a loyal customer, I didn’t know about such a strict, small window of opportunity to return items. My items were unused/unopened. I had the receipt, and of note, there was NO RETURN POLICY LISTED ON THE RECEIPT FOR CUSTOMERS TO READ THAT SAID THERE IS A STRICT 30 DAY WINDOW OF RETURN AFTER WHICH TIME NO RETURNS OR STORE CREDITS WOULD BE ISSUED. Nope, they refused, wouldn’t even take back the items and give me a store credit, which still allows Sephora to profit. I called Sephora customer service and the agent in the phone stated the same as the Bedford Store Manager. I believe 99 percent of businesses can override these things in their system or in the very least to keep a customer happy and coming back, offer some sort of solution. Maybe an in store gift card or a discount to be used at a future purchase? Instead, they offered nothing, but “I wish there was something we could do for you, but unfortunately there isn’t”. So now I refuse to purchase anything from Sephora again, just in principle alone and such an awful customer service experience.

Poor delivery
Sephora must've used an individual delivering packages out of their personal vehicle because my package reeked of Marijuana. It smelled so bad I didn't even want to bring it in my house and wanted to toss the entire package in the team. These are beauty products that are applied to your face, hair, nails, and body. Nobody wants the products they buy to smell like they've been encased in weed. Horrible!

I purchased a defective product at this Sephora location in Zurich main station. The product was unusable upon opening.
As I live abroad, returning to the store is not feasible. Sephora Switzerland refuses to assist and offers no solution, which is surprising for a store located in a major international train station.
This leaves international customers without any way to resolve issues with defective products.

Dear Sephora Customer Service,
I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent order, which was marked as delivered but has not been properly received.
According to the delivery confirmation, the package was left outside my door. However, I have not taken possession of the item, and leaving it unattended outside does not fulfill the contractual obligation to ensure the goods are delivered into my possession.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the retailer remains responsible for the goods until they are delivered into the physical possession of the consumer. As this has not occurred, I must consider the item as not delivered.
Therefore, I am requesting a full refund for this order. Please process this refund promptly as i would no longer like to shop with Sephora online as I would risk losing my money. Sort out my refund please as I have not been getting a response via email.
Please respond to my main email or issue my refund as this is getting frustrating.

Returning products is easy enough but getting them to confirm receipt of the product I've returned and issuing a refund has proved to be very difficult, they don't respond to emails, there is no known customer service number to actually speak to someone. I would not recommend buying anything from this company on-line. I am still chasing a response from them.
