If I can give a zero for their lack of respect
If I can give a zero, that's my review. For two months, I have been waiting for a refund. The first said on July 24 that a Priceline.com system failed to issue the refund; the second said on August 19 that the refund was processed manually by the accounts department and would reach my original form of payment within 24 to 48 hours; the third, Andy, the supervisor at the flight department, said on Sep 3 that they would investigate why I haven’t received my refund yet and would call me or email me in 48 hours; on Sep 10, I am still waiting for my refund. The whole matter is disrespectful, making Priceline.com untrustworthy and illegal, taking funds from clients and lying about the motive and process. Booking.com is the actual company assigned to make the reservation of a package, and since they are a company partner, the service was by Priceline; both are negligent and afterward passed the problem on and released them
I was charged twice for my car rental
I was charged twice for my car rental. Once from priceline and then again when I picked up my rental car. I have called priceline and the car rental company repeatedly in an effort to get something resolved and they will not tell me what I even paid for. Terrible service
I used to love Priceline
I used to love Priceline, just found out I could have booked my lastest hotel for $20 less. And, althought the hotel was OK the elevator was out of order, and my friend is handicapped!! Will use other sites in the future!
Memphis was awesome
Memphis was awesome. He didn’t rush me, he explained everything to me, sometimes more than once because I don’t travel often. I’d say Memphis went above and beyond for me today. Next time I travel, I’ll be asking for him.
Don’t use priceline
I made a reservation online but when I received the confirmation I saw that the dates were incorrect. I called immediately to correct that and was told the reservation was non-refundable and unchangeable unless I obtained written approval from the hotel. I did this but have had three more interactions with customer care leading to persistent denial of my request for a refund. This company is unhelpful, untrustworthy and in my opinion unethical.
I had the most terrible experience with…
I had the most terrible experience with Priceline. On Saturday night, I accidentally booked a hotel through their website, mostly because the website changed the dates I was looking for to whatever was available two months later, instead of the dates I actually wanted! I immediately tried to cancel, but I couldn’t because the reservation was non-refundable.
I called the hotel right away, but they told me they couldn’t cancel it because I had booked through Priceline. I then called Priceline, and after being on hold for about half an hour, a representative finally answered. They said they couldn’t cancel it because the hotel didn't respond.
I called again on Sunday and Monday, but nothing was resolved. Once again, I was told that the hotel hadn’t responded or that the manager wasn’t available to approve the cancellation. On Monday, Priceline emailed me saying the issue would be resolved within 48 hours. It wasn’t.
By Wednesday, I was extremely mad and called again, asking for an immediate refund. Thankfully, this time I got a helpful representative who finally resolved the issue.
After four days, countless calls, and way too much time spent on hold, I finally managed to cancel a reservation that I had accidentally made for two months in the future. The whole experience was incredibly frustrating and unnecessarily complicated.
I paid for reservation and went to car…
I paid for reservation and went to car dealership. They told me my license is g2 and g2 drivers are not allowed to rent a car from them. So I called priceless and they told me my reservation is non refundable. Please avoid them. Bad customer service not reliable and fishy.
The hotel is dated
The hotel is dated. Bathroom is extremely small.Shower only is barely big enough for 1 person, Mold in bathroom. Bed in my room was springy. AC wouldn't go lower than 72, even though I turned it down to 68 for sleeping at night. Maint. came and said that was just the way it was. Couldn't do anything to fix it. Don't think I'd stay here again. The staff was very kind and the location is great in Waikiki. Be prepared to pay an extra $1000.for parking and resort fees which is ridiculous as this is not a resort at all. I booked through Priceline and will never do that again. Priceline failed to book me for the first night. I called Priceline as soon as I realized I didn't have a room for the first night of 7night stay. Priceline called hotel with me on the line and it was stated by the hotel and Priceline that they would get the first night covered through my package. I called the hotel direct 2 weeks before my trip and was told again that the first night would be taken care of and I would only need to pay the resort fees for the week. Guess what, there was an extension note on my reservation but I ended up having to fork out an extra $250. for the first night. I was not happy but what choice did I have. Whether or not that was the hotels or Pricelines fault I don't know, don't really care, all I know is I called the hotel directly and was told I was good to go,only to find out that I wasn't. Not please with either company at this point.
Would not recommend
Would not recommend. Got charged for a car rental renewal just to find out the confirmation code was wrong and had to book another car rental with Hertz directly. Tried getting a refund for the charges with Priceline and tried explaining to the agent that I never used the car rental under the packaged flight and rental since it wasn’t my fault I was sent the wrong confirmation code. Still no refund, will definitely be disputing charges for something that wasn’t my fault and never using the car rental.
Failing at their only job.
Even something as simple as a single night in a hotel turns into an ordeal with Priceline. Got turned away at the hotel desk because Priceline's payment card was declined. Spent an hour on the phone of them transferring me through 5 different departments only to reach no solution. I booked a second room and got a refund from Priceline after another hour and a half of noise. Will NEVER go through Priceline again.
I paid extra for a "Fully Refundable"…
I paid extra for a "Fully Refundable" and "Changeable" flight. When I needed to change it Priceline said the flight was not changeable or refundable. They said that I needed to contact the airline directly. I contacted the airline, who could not help me because I booked through Priceline. Complete rip off.
Be very careful when booking with…
Be very careful when booking with Priceline. They lied and told me Economy Rental Car was at the airport. It wasn’t and we needed to get a shuttle. While waiting for the shuttle, we met two other families who also were told that Economy Car Rental was at the airport not that you had to take a 13 minute shuttle ride after waiting 20 for a shuttle. Priceline also didn’t let it be known that economy Rent-A-Car wanted $1000.00 deposit on a credit card that they would hold for 3 to 7 days or pay seven dollars a day out of pocket. The car could not leave the state of Florida and even if you went through a .50 Cent EZ Pass toll they would charge you $15 total rip off will never use them again. Never use Priceline or economy. Rent-A-Car again both are an rip off.
Accepted a priceline discounted rate…
Accepted a priceline discounted rate for a 4 star hotel. Paid the full non-refundable fee for two nights. After getting to the hotel, learned of an additional $60 + tax for parking and then upon checking out got hit with another $73 for "resort" fees. It was just a hotel, the swimming pool, fitness room and hot tub may let them call it a resort. We did not use anything other than the room. Other details were mis-represented. Priceline will not refund as those were hotel charges. So why did I accept the Priceline"discounted" offer. Not discounted at all. with extra charges! I will never use Priceline or any third party to book a room again.
Dreadful service
Dreadful service. No customer service. I have been a Sister Club member (now has new name) for over 25 years. I can honestly say their customer service has declined significantly in the past year. Their Hurstville store, NSW does NOT answer the phone (retail or pharmacy). Time to switch to Chemist Warehouse.
Do not book with this travel agency
Do not book with this travel agency. They do not represent their prices with full transpancey. Their prices are misleading, they misrepresent their vacation packages, and they leave you the consumer fighting for restitution. I was under impression I was receiving an amazing vacation package only to be "catfished" and "bamboozled." I will never, and I repeat, never book with them again. They turned what was supposed to be an amazing vacation and get away into a nightmare of epic proportions. I'm not fighting to get back what was charged inaccurately in relation to the package deal I was quoted via their online website. Not to mention, I was advised the package deal price was correct by an agent over the phone. Book directly with the airline and hotel never though Priceline!
Please do not use this service
Please do not use this service, they have negative customers service. I just spoke with a supervisor and she was very negative regarding my refund. The airline has issued my refund almost a month ago and they still haven't processed my refund. I think they're stealing customer money. They need to be reported to the better business bureau. Actually they need to be a bad memory and out of business. I will never ever use this service again!!!
I had a problem with the hotel I stayed…
I had a problem with the hotel I stayed at and while Priceline would not take any accountability I also found out that they charged me for 3 people and not the 2 people that actually took the trip and when it was brought to their attention again they took no responsibility for it. Will never use Priceline again.
I will never trust Priceline again
I will never trust Priceline again. Last year my wife and I took a once in a lifetime trip to Alaska. We booked a Best Western on Kodiak Island through Priceline in December 2024 and paid for the hotel through Priceline at the time. We stayed in the hotel the last week of June in 2025.
After checking out, I noticed a charge on our CC from the hotel. I contacted them and they told me they never received payment from Priceline. When I contacted Priceline they told me they used a 3rd party to issue a credit to Best Western. I called the hotel management back, they told me the account # given them by Priceline was bad so they charged my card.
I basically got the run around from Priceline over the period of 8 months with at least a dozen hours on the phone and providing them multiple documents to prove the double charges. They never reimbursed me and I wasted too much time dealing with it. I ultimately believe they just wear people down until we give up.
NEVER AGAIN!
Priceline takes advantage of the elderly and commits fraud
I booked a room for 10 days, at motel6, threw a special pay now and see which motel you get, and did not receive a room, no refund, run around on the phone, asked for credit, to get different room, wouldn't do that.my friend is handicapped can't walk it's raining and I don't have money for a room cuz priceline stole it.your an idiot to trust this company. I have no choice but to file a police report, for fraud, and taking advantage of the elderly.
