I am absolutely appalled by Amazon
I am absolutely appalled by Amazon. We are a married couple: my husband just moved to Germany, got a local phone number, and opened a bank account. Naturally, everything is brand new—the account, the bank card, and the phone number! I have not arrived yet because I am still waiting for my visa. Using his account (via VPN, since I am currently in Russia where services often do not function properly), I was simply adding items to the cart, and you banned everything. You banned my husband’s account, blocked him from creating a new one, and canceled the order on my account. What are we supposed to do? We were trying to buy BASIC necessities: underwear, loungewear, cat toys, and prescription cat food (our cat requires a strictly specific diet, and we can only afford it on Amazon due to exorbitant local retail prices). Does buying basic household items make us criminals in your eyes?
Key Complaints and Arguments:
Disproportionate Risk Response: Your algorithms block orders of cheap, everyday goods worth a few euros as if we were purchasing high-end electronics. Your security measures inflict far more harm than any hypothetical risk they supposedly prevent—especially given your unreasonable delays in reviewing account appeals.
Algorithmic Failure on Relocation: Moving to another country is a normal life event. Having a new address, new documents, new bank accounts, and a new phone number is completely natural. You automatically block orders without providing any immediate access to a human representative to verify the situation.
Unjustified Presumption of Guilt: Submitting official PASSPORTS (I provided my national passport, and my husband provided his international passport) and using our own or family cards should immediately establish legitimacy. Why do you continue applying punitive measures instead of verifying our identity?
Digital Catch-22: Banning my husband from even accessing or re-registering an account strips him of any ability to contact support through official internal channels.
We demand that you restore access to our accounts and allow us to purchase our essentials—underwear, cat food, pet supplies, and stationery. We cannot afford inflated brick-and-mortar retail prices.

Exclusive for collectors
Exclusive for collectors! The rarest 'anti-stress' box straight from Amazon 📦🔥
Looking for something truly unique? Only on Amazon can you get a doll in a one-of-a-kind box rated 'survived three wars, fell off Mount Everest, and was chewed on by a dinosaur'! A genuine rarity—you won't find packaging quality like this anywhere else!
But seriously, Amazon is outdoing itself. The box arrived in such shitty condition it looks like someone tried to pry it open on the way, changed their mind, kicked it around, and threw it in a puddle. Customer support is another masterpiece entirely. I feel like their reps will soon stop speaking English altogether and switch to some galactic dialect because they clearly don't understand basic English or basic complaints.
Zero compensation—neither for emotional distress nor the actual damage. Absolutely nothing.
The verdict: I was planning to keep these dolls NRFB (Never Removed From Box), but thanks to Amazon's 'care,' I’m forced to unbox them. Ordering replacements makes no sense either—there's no guarantee the next package won't arrive looking like shredded paper.
Thanks for the 'wonderful' service and for ruining a collector-grade item! 👏🗑️

Why did Amazon customer service become…
Why did Amazon customer service become so awful. Is it because the use of AI? It's the third time for me and my partner that the packages are marked handed to a resident but we have never received them. I need to wait every time for Amazon to solve this bad service and then reorder the items. If things keep like this we need to find other websites to buy from. We don't have so much time and energy to waste.
Amazon sells bulky items it cannot actually collect for return — and blocks reviews that would warn other buyers
I ordered a mattress from Amazon Germany (sold and shipped by Amazon directly). Under EU consumer law you have 14 days to withdraw from any purchase, no questions asked — so I did.
That's where the problem started. Amazon's "Heavy & Bulky Service Team" said they could arrange a pickup — except they can't, not from Luxembourg. After weeks of back-and-forth (starting June 13), I was eventually told to ship the mattress back to a warehouse in Dortmund, Germany, myself, at my own expense.
I requested quotes from three different bulky-item courier services. The cheapest was over €300 — for a mattress that cost roughly €200. A dedicated van quote came to €565. Amazon's own suggested carriers (Post Luxembourg, DHL Paket) don't even handle bulky freight like this.
To make it worse: I was not allowed to leave a product review on the mattress listing itself — the one place that would actually warn the next buyer before they order. Whether by policy or automated restriction, this conveniently keeps the item's rating clean while the real problem — that Amazon cannot support returns on it in half its EU markets — stays invisible to shoppers.
In other words: Amazon sells large items into countries where its own logistics network can't support a return, leaves the customer to eat a return cost higher than the item's value, and blocks the one channel that would let future buyers know. That's not a return policy — it's a withdrawal right that exists on paper only.
I've now filed complaints with the European Consumer Centre Luxembourg and Luxembourg's Ministry of Consumer Protection. If you're in Luxembourg (or any smaller EU market Amazon doesn't run bulky-return logistics to), think twice before ordering large/heavy items — check return logistics before you buy, not after.
Airmee’s completely unacceptable delivery service in Copenhagen
I am submitting yet another formal complaint regarding Amazons completely unacceptable delivery service in Copenhagen by the companye Airmee.
I was expecting three parcels from you yesterday evening. During the evening, the Airmee app informed me that you would not be able to complete the deliveries and that the parcels would instead be delivered this evening.
However, when I came downstairs this morning, I discovered all three parcels simply lying inside the communal entrance of my apartment building, completely unattended and freely accessible to anyone entering the building.
They had not been delivered to my apartment on the 4th floor, and I had certainly not authorised Airmee to leave them unattended in a communal area.
This is entirely unacceptable.
Many people have access to the building, and the entrance door is frequently unlocked. All three parcels could very easily have been stolen. Had that happened, I would obviously not have accepted Airmee claiming that the parcels had been properly delivered.
What makes the situation even more serious is that, even now, the Airmee app still states that all three parcels are scheduled for delivery this evening.
There is absolutely no indication in the app that the parcels have already been delivered or left anywhere.
In other words, your driver appears to have left three parcels unattended in a communal entrance without notifying me and without even registering them as delivered in Airmee’s own system. According to the Airmee app, the parcels are still in their possession and are yet to be delivered.
This raises serious questions not only about the conduct of the driver, but also about Airmee’s ability to document and account for the whereabouts and delivery status of parcels entrusted to them.
If I had not happened to discover the parcels myself this morning, I would currently have every reason to believe that Airmee still had possession of them and intended to deliver them this evening. If they had meanwhile been stolen from the entrance, neither I nor apparently Airmee’s own tracking system would even have known when or where they had been left.
This is not an acceptable delivery procedure.
Under EU consumer law, the risk of loss or damage to goods generally remains with the seller until the consumer has acquired physical possession of them. Leaving parcels unattended in a communal stairwell without the recipient’s explicit consent cannot reasonably be regarded as a safe handover to the recipient.
This incident comes on top of several previous unacceptable experiences I have had with Airmee deliveries.
I therefore expect:
This incident to be registered as a formal complaint.
An explanation of why the driver left three parcels unattended in a communal entrance.
An explanation of why the parcels were apparently not registered as delivered at all.
An explanation of why your app still states that all three parcels will be delivered this evening.
Written confirmation that parcels addressed to me will not in future be left unattended in common areas without my explicit permission.
Confirmation that this complaint has been escalated to the appropriate operational manager.
Please do not respond with a generic apology or standard customer-service wording. I expect a specific response addressing what actually happened, including the discrepancy between the physical whereabouts of the parcels and the information in Airmee’s own tracking system.
I am also reporting this latest incident to Impressium at Amazon, as Amazon has repeatedly chosen Airmee as the carrier for my orders despite my previous complaints about the quality and reliability of your deliveries.
Best, Claus Bülow Christensen

I bought a gaming mouse
I bought a gaming mouse, and I received it damaged. After contacting customer service,, they asked me to wait 5 days to investigate it, and after 5 days they didn't come back. when contacted them, they just asked me to return it no replacement, not even a partial refund. Customer service sucks.
Terrible customer service and unjustified retention of my money (Amazon.de
I have been waiting for a refund of a returned item for more than a month and the experience is being regrettable.
Every time I contact by chat to claim the money of my order (028-8413696-2628306), the agents demonstrate an absolute lack of qualification. As soon as they are unable to manage the problem or give a concrete solution, they cut off the conversation without giving explanations or solving anything.
It's a total lack of respect for the customer. I demand that you process the return and deposit the money that belongs to me immediately
Use to be great until they started using Airmee
Amazon Germany used to be great with fast and free deliveries, good selection of products etc. Unfortunately since they started using Airmee as a delivery service. It is just horrible. I have never since received delivery before 21:00 in the evening and around every other time the package is lost or delayed. Honestly I don't understand how it is possible to run a delivery service so badly, I think I can do it better with pen and paper.
Used defective product relisting
They sold me a 1k gpu, used, described as working very good condition. I received the gpu and when I tried it, it had no output signal. Read a review from 9 months ago, from a user having received the exact same non working used gpu. Scam artists. They recirculate the same defective product without fixing it or returning it to manufacturer, in hope that someone will forget to return it...

I will never use Amazon.de again.
I will never use Amazon.de again.
I’ve had great experiences with Amazon UK, so I expected Amazon Germany to offer a similar level of service. Unfortunately, my experience has been the complete opposite. The customer service has been extremely poor, inefficient, and unable to resolve problems properly.
I ordered an item whose product picture did not match the product name. To avoid any issues, I contacted Amazon customer service before placing the order and double-checked with two different representatives. Both confirmed that the item was the one I wanted, so I went ahead and placed the order based on their confirmation.
After waiting a week, I received the wrong item.
I contacted customer service again, but despite the fact that I had specifically confirmed the product with them before ordering, they could not offer a replacement. I was simply told to return the item. I then had to go to the post office and send it back.
It has now been another week, and Amazon says they still have not received the returned package. Every time I contact customer service, I receive essentially the same generic responses, with no meaningful solution or sense of responsibility for the original mistake.
This entire process has been incredibly frustrating and time-consuming, especially since I took the extra step of confirming the item with Amazon before placing the order.
If I could give zero stars, I would!!!
Terrible service, doesn't follow the law
Item was left in lobby and stolen, when I tried to arrange a replacement they kept trying to force a refund. Then said I couldn't be helped because I'd had too many refunds.
Seem to think consumer law doesnt apply to them. Customer service was terrible and kept handing me off and dropping chats.
Very disappointing warranty service
Very disappointing warranty service.
I bought a robot from Amazon for approximately 6,000 DKK (€800). I returned it to Amazon’s official repair center under warranty over two months ago, and I still don’t have my product back or a solution.
I have contacted Amazon Customer Service repeatedly by phone and email. I have been told to contact the repair team by email, which I have done three times, providing all the requested information and documentation. I have received no response.
I have also requested either a full refund or a brand-new replacement, but have received no response to that either.
On top of this, I paid approximately 600 DKK to ship the robot to the repair center. Amazon promised to reimburse this cost, but I have still not received it.
My case was escalated several weeks ago, but I am still waiting for a resolution.
I have followed every instruction Amazon has given me. After more than two months, I simply expect Amazon to take responsibility and resolve this properly.
Very disappointing experience.
If I could give zero stars
If I could give zero stars, I would.
I bought a RENPHO LED face mask from Amazon.de, and unfortunately it stopped working after only a few months of normal use.
What is completely unacceptable is Amazon’s customer service. The order clearly states “Sold by: Amazon.de”, yet when the product stopped working, Amazon told me to contact RENPHO. RENPHO, on the other hand, told me that I need to deal with Amazon.
So I’m being sent back and forth between Amazon and RENPHO, with neither willing to take responsibility for a faulty product that was sold by Amazon.
Very disappointing customer service. I expected much better from Amazon.
Delayed refund for stolen ASUS router
Delayed refund for stolen ASUS router – Still no response regarding compensation!
I ordered an ASUS RT-BE9700 Tri-Band Wi-Fi router for €192 (4,815.03 CZK) on July 15. The item was stolen in transit and replaced with a cheap TP-Link. I sent it back, and Amazon received it on July 27. It took Amazon 28 days to finally refund my money on August 24, and they only did so after a previous complaint. On August 24, I formally requested compensation for withholding my money and the terrible experience. It has been 11 days, and there is absolutely no response, no email, and no update. I demand that the Executive Customer Relations team looks into this case history and issues the promised compensation for this unacceptable delay.
Do not buy anything here
Paid extra for fast shipping. Received several emails - in German - confirming the order. Then an email saying the purchase didn’t go through. I then sent my ID and did all the steps they told me. Didn’t help one bit. The order was supposed to be delivered today. They haven’t even sent it. And I reaaaally needed it TODAY.
They then ask me to go through seven steps making sure the problem is not on my end…. I HAVE NO ISSUES BUYING FROM ANY OTHER WEBSITE and I’ve already confirmed my ID.
I am extremely disappointed with…
I am extremely disappointed with Amazon's customer service. I bought a TUXING Air Compressor, and shortly after, the price dropped by DKK 347.65. I contacted support, and an agent named Mia formally promised me in writing that the difference would be refunded within 5-7 business days. When the refund didn't arrive, I followed up. The next agent completely refused to honor their colleague's written commitment. Worst of all, when I asked to speak with a supervisor, the agent abruptly closed the chat on me! This is unacceptable and dishonest behavior from a major company. Amazon must honor the promises made by its own representatives. Order #302-9645277-8347519.
Fake tracking numbers + lost package trick again
After an improvement with the fact that most of the packages are getting lost, now they found a new trick: "delivered to neighbour" that not really exists. They just invented a fake name and the tracking number is fake. At the beginning you always lost your money if a package got lost, and 70%+ got lost (only in Amazon, ordering from other places it never get lost), then it went down to 30% and you could received your money back. Now with the new trick we are back to 14 years ago.
Extremely disappointing customer service
I have been an Amazon customer for years, but my recent experience with Amazon.de has been extremely disappointing.
I paid around €2,000 for two battery sets that were marked as delivered, but I never received the goods. The proof of delivery contains a signature that is not mine, and the seller has refused to properly resolve the situation.
I have provided all the evidence requested and contacted Amazon Customer Service repeatedly. Despite several escalations and promises of follow-up, I have been repeatedly sent back and forth between Amazon and the seller.
I have now had to escalate the matter to the European Consumer Centre (CEC Portugal).
For a company of Amazon's size, this level of customer service and lack of responsibility is extremely disappointing. I expected Amazon to protect its customer when a €2,000 order is clearly disputed, not leave the customer to fight with a third-party seller.
