0 stars would be better. Once again my delivery is left in the foyer of my building and not delivered to my front door as per my delivery instructions. Why bother having these if you imbecilic drivers... See more

The delivery driver couldn’t be…
The delivery driver couldn’t be bothered to ring the door bell or knock , but left my package on the door step in full view of passers by , I would never ever use them
Orders left outside building
I live in a block of flats and registered disabled, the last 8 orders have been left outside the building for anyone to take, sometimes being left in the rain.
I have amended specific delivery instructions (at amazon's request) and i have also spoken to amazon's customer services and made numerous complaints.
But still their delivery drivers just leave them outside.
So will not be renewing my prime and will be deleting my account, because it is apparent that Amazon can't control its drivers and guarantee a safe delivery to the front door of a Disabled customer.
Shame on you Amazon
WARNING- you will not get a refund for bulky items unless you can physically get them returned
WARNING: Amazon Executive Team formally claims A-to-z Guarantee does not cover third-party disputes.
I am writing this to warn other UK shoppers about a severe policy contradiction and breakdown in consumer protection on Amazon.co.uk.
We purchased a vacuum-packed mattress from a third-party seller that arrived in the incorrect size. Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, we tried to return it within the cooling-off period. The seller flagrantly breached Amazon policy by demanding an unauthorized £20 fee and requiring the mattress to be returned "unused and in original packaging"—a physical impossibility for a fully expanded mattress that standard couriers refuse to transport.
When we turned to Amazon’s heavily advertised A-to-z Guarantee, we faced a shocking compliance failure. After escalating the case to the Amazon Executive Customer Relations Team (Managing Director's Office), we received a formal email stating: "Unfortunately, we are unable to intervene with regard to a contract between buyer and seller. We do not act as a mediator and are not responsible for the actions taken... we do not act as an intermediary or solution broker." This directly contradicts the advertised terms of the A-to-z Guarantee.
Furthermore, during a live chat, an Amazon Customer Service Supervisor refused a cash refund, offered only store credit, and abruptly terminated the chat session the moment I mentioned my legal rights and the Financial Ombudsman Service.
Because the corporate runaround became so exhausting and stressful, we were ultimately forced to settle for the £75 store credit just to put the matter behind us. Amazon is using an advertised guarantee to induce trust in their marketplace, yet their executive team is formally washing their hands of legal accountability. Avoid buying bulky or third-party items on this platform.
Amazon get most of it right.
I've just put out the biggest negative review ever.
I loathe this online world. All these companies cutting costs. No real people to speak to. No information. Hidden menus to stop you doing things. Call centres that don't employ enough staff to help. Virtual Assistants. It is all based around keeping customers away.
But if you want to keep your costs down and reduce the customer service you have to understand what questions are being asked. What questions needed a human answer.
However, Amazon.co.uk, is online and yet I have had problems and they have always been resolved.
Yes, it is a huge goliath business and yet returns are easy. Faulty products credited. Subscriptions are easy to find and cancel. Deliveries tracked. Order history easy to understand.
If you have a business that requires customer service, but you are loathed to provide it, then look at Amazon.
They seem to cover every scenario and it is just easy. Easy to buy, easy to return, easy to track.
Could they be perfect? Almost.
I was disappointed with this ASDA…
I was disappointed with this ASDA shopping bag. While the price is affordable and the design is practical, the material does not feel very durable. After only a few uses, the handles started to show signs of wear, which made me less confident carrying heavier items. The bag is a decent size, but I think stronger stitching and higher-quality materials would improve its overall value. Hopefully, ASDA can address these issues in future versions.
Best
For me, it is the best online company. They have always resolved my issues regarding deliveries, payment disputes, etc.
I am extremely disappointed with the…
I am extremely disappointed with the way my recent order and refund request have been handled.
While I was out of the country, a payment was taken from my account for an item that was being sent to me as part of a monthly subscription. I had previously been advised by Amazon Customer Service that I was subscribed to this service and that the item would be sent automatically each month.
Unfortunately, I was abroad at the time of the delivery and did not receive the item. The package was apparently left outside my door while I was away, meaning I had no opportunity to collect it or ensure that it was safely received.
When I contacted Amazon to explain the situation and requested a refund, I was told that my request was rejected because I had not contacted Amazon within 20 days. I find this extremely unfair, as I was outside the country and was not aware that the delivery had been left unattended or that there was a problem until I returned.
I understand that Amazon has policies and time limits, but I believe there should be reasonable consideration of circumstances where a customer is genuinely unable to receive a delivery because they are abroad. I am therefore asking Amazon to reconsider my case and review the circumstances before refusing the refund.
I have been a customer for some time and expected better customer service and flexibility in a situation like this.
😣
Staff dealing with complaints have different moral outlook.
A negative review of a book I wrote has appeared on the Amazon website. The comments are not about the book, but are a personal attack on me. I have made repeated attempts to get the review removed, but to no avail. I believe that the staff at Amazon who deal with such matters live outside the UK, and have a different moral outlook and standards to those of us who live in the UK. As a last resort I have written to the CEO of Amazon UK, but two letters have gone unanswered. In the past I have spent several thousand pounds a year at Amazon, but now, whenever possible, I am going to shop elsewhere.
They don't even deserve a star
They don't even deserve a star, absolutely terrible service and customer service team. Bought an item from them, received but the item didn't does what it suppose to do, hence returned. Courier picked it up the next day and the item was returned to Amazon 2 days later. Since then I was waiting for the refund. Called their customer service agent a few days later, I was advised I will receive the refund on 10th September, as there is no sign of refund so I called them again today, now they are telling me due to the value of the item, they don't have an option to provide me the refund immediately and they don't know what happened at the hub as they haven't received an update from the hub regarding the return, and it might take 30 days to have the refund processed. Absolutely nonsense. I've disputed the payment via my bank as I don't see it's going anywhere with Amazon.
Repeatedly late delivery
Repeatedly late delivery. All customer service says is 'we'll chase it'.
I'm sick of weekly chasing parcels that should have arrived and have not been delivered.
Yet again another lazy delivery driver…
Yet again another lazy delivery driver who lies.
Tracking said parcel delivered and put through letter box. Impossible it is a large light fitting! Found it yet again left 40 ft away outside on a public road as too lazy to bring it to front door. All delivery instructions state bring it to the door. They have been reported before for this and Amazon say they will sort it but obviously they have not. Disgraceful
Deliveries now very unreliable
Deliveries now very unreliable. Next day deliveries often fail and take a couple of days. Deliveries often arrive as late as 10pm. Orders will arrive on the same day in different deliveries. Often no weekend deliveries. Canterbury area.
I’m writing as a prime customer
I’m writing as a prime customer, I’ve just watched the first season of Fargo there were more adverts at least 10 every episode and what comes up go advert free for an extra £2.99. Not impressed I’ll stick with Netflix
DO NOT TRUST PRIME MEMBERSHIP DELIVERY…
DO NOT TRUST PRIME MEMBERSHIP DELIVERY PROMISES AT ALL!!! Amazon offered a free trial for 30 days for Prime membership. I've ordered 3 items and they should be delivered the next day. This morning I received an email and I noticed that one of the items was marked as I wasn't at the address so they attempted to deliver it but failed. I was at the address but there wasn't any courier around!! Then I contacted with the customer service, they advised me that I would be called. Nobody called me, my phone was on but then I received another email that I was unreachable!! Then the delivery time kept changing in every 15-30 minutes! I was told that the courier was nearby and about to deliver my parcels, but it has been over another 30 minutes from that. I don't think any of my parcels will be delivered today, they keep stalling me with cheap tactics which is really very disrespectful and annoying. They don't have a clear, honest communication with the customers, they just keep making false promises and even they don't come in or call, they claim that I am not at the address or my phone is unreachable. Shame of Amazon really, I trusted that brand until today but apparently it has changed a lot. So do not trust Prime delivery because apparently it's not working well anymore and they cannot keep their next day delivery promises. I will cancel my free membership before I pay for it because it doesn't worth it at all.
Update: Their driver delivered 2 of my 3 parcels on the same day but of course I had to stay longer over an hour after my shift had finished to collect them. The third parcel hasn't been delivered. When I texted customer services, I was told that yesterday around 8.58 and 10.53 am I think, there were 2 delivery attempts but nobody was here. There were at least 3 people in here at both times but no driver was around and nobody rang the bell either. They say they would call me but nobody calls, then they claim that I was unreachable, but my phone was working fine. This is so disrespectful really and unacceptable. I told them that I will be at the address until 4.30 pm and I can stay only half an hour more, but they keep insisting on it will be delivered until 10 pm. They keep repeating the same apologies, keep saying that they are customers as well, how they understand me, as a customer I am valued etc. and they offer £5 vouchers etc. but they cannot even fix their mistake and make their driver to deliver the parcel. Unbelievable really and I am so disappointed. I wouldn't expect such a thing from Amazon!
Awful customer service
Awful customer service. 8 days of waiting, order didnt despatch and customer service manager Sijo was absolute unhelpful. No info or help provided
Since Royal Mail have been delivering…
Since Royal Mail have been delivering parcels for Amazon it’s gone absolutely terrible don’t know why they use this company as they can’t even deliver letters on time let alone parcels
I order quite frequently with Amazon…
I order quite frequently with Amazon but recently 3 out of 4 deliveries theres been an item missing every time. And its such an nuisance trying to get it sorted.
You keep clicking on link after link after link to get right back where you started.
Just give me a phone number I can ring so I can get it sorted
Cancelled membership faulty goods delivered third party sellers want you to pay return postage on deal they decide refund
Been with Amazon ten years maybe twenty had to cancel due to sellers with bad reviews allowed to sell faulty goods from new goods then demand you pay return costs £22 that is price of item on agreement they judge whether item is faulty which could then cost you double . I prefer EBAY now you do not get this trouble
Patrick at amazon after 4 calls showed no empathy when I said it should be prepaid return I am that furious I made him immediately cancel my membership , apparently Amazon allow third party sellers now to sell faulty items
NOT in the mood to be MESSED WITH safe to leave in doorway
Amazon delivery people know full well that it is safe to leave packages in our doorway. So why they're now pretending otherwise is beyond me.
I ordered 3 of an item because it was…
I ordered 3 of an item because it was on offer of 3 for the price of 2. Somehow the order was changed so that I only received 1 making the cost per item considerably more.
