The Suite is terrible and is junk

The store employee was good, but the quality of the suit fabric is terrible. It is cheap, wrinkles very easy and poor construction I had a Haggar suite that far surpasses the junk I bought from Jos A Banks. I have some nice suites and thought I could get a nice suite from Jos A Banks, but this suite looked pretty good but is cheap cheap and does not wear well at all. Complete junk and total waste of money .

True customer service does still exist

I loved how dedicated staff were to meet my needs. I had an associate, Genard, who suggested styles and colors I wouldn’t have thought of and I am so glad that he did! It’s a whole different world for someone to actually help style you - this store is really how service is to be and they maintain the true nature of costumer service and quality of clothing!

I will never go to the Joseph Bank in Collegeville Pa

I will never go to the Joseph Bank in Collegeville Pa again. I purchased 2 pairs of pants through their website and they were too big because they were pleated and to strechy. So I wend to Collegeville Store and the Associate who could be a Manager was as much help as a Rock. I said I wanted to exchange the pants for ones that are flat front and not stretchy. So instead of being a real salesperson he points to where there were some pants. He finally helped me with a black pair and a tan pair. Tried on the black pair and they were fine and the tan pair were the stretchy kind. I just took the black pair and got a credit on the other. What happened to going to a clothing store and actually having somebody help you and not just point. This person and I hope he was not the manager reads this review. Help your customers!! or do something different!!

Wedding attired in the Hudson Valley!

I arrived in the Hudson Valley without sufficient clothes for a fancy family wedding, and the store manager in Fishkill, near Poughkeepsie, Ms. Doli Morcos, took me in hand, and outfitted me for various events, including the main wedding. She even pressed all the clothes, and explained to me the rudiments of tying a bow tie. Hats off to Doli and her associates!

Honestly

Honestly, go anywhere else except this place. I’ve been multiple times trying to get my fiancé, father and the groomsmen all fitted and nobody ever has a clue what’s going on. We purchased a vest for my fiancé then go to pick it up and they tell us they don’t sell vests in that style and size. Then what did we buy!? When my father went they told him the men’s suits were white. They are most certainly not white. They are blue suits so I have no clue how that was misinterpreted. They put one of the groomsmen in a suit that he could barely button and told him it looked good. We both had to tell the rep that that suit is too tight and he kept reiterating. “It looked good”… it did not. These are just the tips of the iceberg. I can go on and on, but this place sucks and you should go elsewhere.

The worst experience ever

The worst experience ever. Will never go back to this store online or to the store. Since they "merged", or whatever with Men's Warehouse, my impression is they are a shlock store now. I ordered a French Cuff dress shirt. It came to the store without French Cuffs (honestly, I don't know if that was my mistake or not when ordering). Anyway, I returned it and ordered another online. I received an email that it was in and went to pick it up. Of course, they couldn't find it (I spent another hour at the store - this is supposed to be easy). The people were nice enough and a manager actually went to another store to get me what I was looking for. Of course, I had to come back again, and this time it was stained and wrinkled. For $75.00 I expect more. Anyway, returned that one and went to Brooks Brothers. Only $25 more and it was a pleasure, they actually pressed the shirt for me and gave it to me in a nice garment bag. Too bad, I used to like Joseph A. Banks (I still wear several suits of theirs). Anyway, I'm venting and I'm done with them forever.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM! Bought a polo. Wore it 34times collar frayed like it was 10 years old. Went to exchange it and they wouldn’t do it because I didn’t have the receipt. I am in their system and the manager was not tech savvy and kept messing up by simply inputting my phone number. Said he couldn’t do anything. The shirt is still for sale on the table at same price. I asked if I could just get a new one. He said no. ABSOLUTELY TGE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Killdeer Illinois location 6/13/26 11:00 am

Traveler dress shirt sizes are too small

I am very disappointed. Last week I ordered three French cuff white dress shirts, exactly like the other two I have (which fit great). They arrived and I tried one on this morning and they are literally a size or more too small. Sleeves are short, cannot button the shirt at all. It is exactly the same as my other shirts, EXCEPT These are made in Viet Nam and the others were made in Malaysia.
I went to the store today to exchange them and was basically told I had to order an larger shirt, traditional fit (not tailored), and then have them altered. I returned them for a full refund and will have to purchase them somewhere else.

Wonderful experience!

Visited the Jos. A. Bank story in Saratoga and was greeted by Maryanne who worked with my son to fit him for a suit for his prom. She was amazing, not pushy, and new exactly how to help him. Maryanne looked at him, knew his size and worked with him patiently throughout the whole fitting process. I could not have been happier with our experience, and I would go back in a heartbeat! Thank you Maryanne!

Spent two hours getting my son fitted…

Spent two hours getting my son fitted for prom. Kept getting interrupted. Fitting took place over a month prior to
Prom. Went to pick up suit today and first they couldn’t find the suit and then pants did not fit- not even close. Blamed it on being so busy with prom. They took worn pants from a return the prior weekend and gave them to my son. Different material and color slightly off. Awful customer service for hefty charge.

Received used jacket

I was given a used jacket with the return tags still on it. Then, when I tried to speak to customer service, no one answered my calls (twice) or responded to my texts. I have never in my life experienced such awful customer service.

Went to JAB’s today to see the tuxedo…

Went to JAB’s today to see the tuxedo shirts. They didn’t have the prices on the shirts so i looked around for a sales person 3 people where at the register talking to one customer, just talking and laughing, so i waited until the customer left, and the only thing the said was “welcome to Josep A Banks”. That’s it, all 3 stood there at that register and continued to talk and laugh, no one else but two people were in the store and they were getting fitted for a tuxedo. That’s why people are shopping online and not bothering going inside stores. This is the Second time at that particular store this happened so i will be calling the manager in the morning.

Poor experience at Little Rock AR store

I have been shopping at Jos. A. Bank on Chenal in Little Rock for many years and have always received great service. However, that was not the case today AT ALL. My experience was similar to Dr Fisher’s and Ms Morgan’s recent visit. I went in looking to buy several pairs of pants and shirts and possibly a few other things if I found something I liked. I walk in and find one of the sections i am looking for via trial and error. I comb through several sections of pants and pull 3 pair of slacks that were close to my size. There appeared to be only one customer in the store and he left during this time. No greeting yet. I help myself to the dressing room to begin trying them on. For each pair I walk outside to the mirror to see how they fit. I do this back and forth four times. On the third walk out after the mirror I go and look at the racks again to see if there is anything else I can try on. As I was doing this there was a guy out there piddling around straightening out ties on the table, turns around looks straight at me and doesn’t say a word, no can I help you, nothing. At this point I have one more pair to try and I am not finding the right fit. I didn’t say anything or ask for help because at this point I figure if they don’t care then I don’t want their help because it likely will not be worth a shot. All the while this was going on there were other people that appeared to work there because they were talking and one or two walked out to the dressing room area then straight back to the room for employees only. After my last pair of slacks to try on I put my own clothes back on and walk out with the clothes in hand just looking to see if someone will get interested in selling some clothes. Nope. The guy that was dutifully arranging the ties on the table was now over at the mirror assisting a customer that I had not yet seen. There also appeared to be a lady there helping as well. No one acknowledges me so in frustration I carry the unfolded slacks and dump them and the hangers on the front desk by the cash register and walk out the door. Management, corporate office, anyone with authority, please wake the freak up! You have employees in this store that are not giving bad service because they are giving no service at all!
You say that this is “not the level of service you strive for” but yet this has happened several times in just the past couple months and still no change. Stop giving lip service and take some corrective action. I am coming back in next week for Super Tuesday and I will see if you’ve done anything about it. If you haven’t I can assure you it will not be pretty! DO BETTER!! 3-19-26

UPDATE: I DID EMAIL JABListens BUT HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED A RESPONSE. I STILL INTEND TO GO BACK TO THE STORE ON MONDAY OR TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK SO WE WILL SEE IF THERE HAS BEEN ANY CHANGE EFFECTED YET.

SECOND UPDATE: I RECEIVED AN UNDELIVERABLE MESSAGE REPLY ON MY EMAIL TO JABListen. I DOUBLE CHECKED THE ADDRESS AND IT IS THE SAME AS YOU INSTRUCTED. I WILL TRY AGAIN. ONE MORE TIME. PERHAPS THE PERSON RESPONDING TO THESE SURVEYS COULD GET INVOLVED AND ENDURE THE MESSAGE GETS DELIVERED??

THIRD UPDATE: I GOT ANOTHER UNDELIVERABLE NOTICE FROM JABListens email address. HERE IS A COPY SO EVERYONE CAN SEE THIS:

Never ordering from them online again

Never ordering from them online again. I was lied to each day I called and asked for an update and finally go the truth today that my package hasn't been sent out yet. I was going to bring the sport coat on a trip and now I will have to go out and quickly find another one. Worst customer service ever. Do not trust them ever! After 5 days this is what I get from them. Better clothing companies out there.

Poor Quality in Jos. A. Bank men's dress shirts

I have bought a few Jos. A. Bank dress shirts. All of them failed in a relatively short period of time (less than two years of weekly wear). Significant fraying on the collars, cuffs and even the button-down front fabric edges. The shirts developed loose hanging threads all over and became such an embarassment that I could no longer wear them. I have much older ( greater than 10 years) dress shirts (US made) that have never done this.

Very poor quality. I will never buy another Jos. A. Bank dress shirt.

I just purchased an American-made dress shirt online and we will see if it holds out better.

Worthless Mens Clothier

I made an online order and they copied the wrong address. I called within 20 minutes of the order and was on hold for almost an hour only to be told I could not make any changes. They are worthless and a total shit show
