I am shocked and upset
I am shocked and upset - I feel my privacy has been ruptured. It is very upsetting to see my name used in this way - It is a rare combination and quickly identifies me. I was not consulted in any way. I thought my comments were used only by the organization - not shared with “the world”. Not only has my privacy been ruptured- I feel I am at increased risk to be hacked and scammed.

This is fraud
This is not right; I did not agree to a £49.99 charge, nor did I make such a purchase. You used my card details. Your app certainly did not ask for Face ID or any form of confirmation. While I was browsing the page, it automatically deducted the money from my account without obtaining any payment approval. I demand the immediate cancellation of my membership and a refund of my money. Otherwise, I will file a formal complaint and provide proof of this if necessary. Put an immediate stop to this scam. On top of that, all my comments are being blocked just because I reported this and wrote a comment.

Trustpilot shields bad faith reviewers…
Trustpilot shields bad faith reviewers from damaging businesses.
A small business can be working incredibly hard only to have an unfair, disgruntled person drag your score down, leave defamatory remarks and other obviously unfair comments that do not, or could not, relate to the service subject the the review - and Trustpilot will allow that to happen and facilitate it.
What's infinitely worse, is that Trustpilot will then remove 100% legitimate good reviews from a businesses profile.
We had a bad actor leave a bad review (not even a paying customer!) - some of the bad review is fair, but parts of it are factually untrue, defamatory and not only do Trustpilot allow clear defamation to remain, but when we reach out to our customers to try get good reviews to counteract that damage - Trustpilot removes them. Our customers have proof and receipts so the removals are grossly unfair.
Trustpilot also applies their own policies inconsistently.
So it's 1 genuine 1 star from me.

I can’t see the sense of writing reviews when they are removed because they are not liked by the company or perhaps a little risqué . Trust pilot surely is meant to be an independent company purely passing on comments made by individuals as the comments are not of their making .
Swearing and lewdness aside people should be able to record what they feel .
