If I could give 0 stars, I would. I've had two cars through them. Really had no problems with my first car, traded it in and got a bigger car for myself. I've missed a couple of payments I am not going to lie. But I've always made it a point to pay double the next month so I was caught up. There's a bunch of issues I have with TFS. 1) on my statements, it says to make a payment before this date to avoid a late fee. On the app, almost every single month there is an added late fee. 2) I do not understand if they are operating normal business hours why it takes 3-4 business days for them to process my payment when I make a payment on a weekday. 3) On my bank statements since I have owned this car, they have taken out my payment. Yet on the app, they are saying they "refunded the payment." When I ask them what this meant, they couldn't give me a straight answer. 4) Any double payment I have made should be going to the late payments so I am current. They do not give you an option to pay toward late payments or principle. They just put the payment toward the principle, making more money in late fees. 5) The last time I called TFS to talk to someone, this man was so rude and condescending talking to me. Called me "honey" and told me the reason I have late fees was because my bank didn't have the money for the payment. When I told him I can send him copies of my statements where they took the money out, he changed his story to where I made the payment late. I ended up hanging up on him because I was beyond frustrated. Now they're saying my car is up for repo even though both my husband and I have made payments to where that shouldn't happen. Do not finance from them. Go through your bank or anyone else.
