Overall, if everything goes as planned — the concert takes place as scheduled and there are no cancellations or date changes — the experience with Viagogo is generally fine. However, I have several concerns regarding the ticket delivery and resale process, which can cause a significant amount of unnecessary stress, wasted time and frustration. My main concern is that tickets are often delivered only a few days before the concert, even when they were purchased as much as ten months in advance. This creates considerable uncertainty for the buyer, particularly when travelling to another city or country for an event. It also makes it very difficult to make alternative arrangements if something goes wrong. I also do not understand why tickets sometimes show another person's name instead of the name of the actual buyer. This can create additional uncertainty about whether the ticket will be accepted at the venue and whether there could be any issues at entry. I recently had a situation where I purchased a ticket through your platform and later needed to resell it. Since the ticket was delivered only a few days before the concert, I effectively had no other option but to resell it through Viagogo. Although I understand that resale involves different payment procedures, I find it quite inconvenient that Viagogo accepts credit/debit cards for purchases but offers PayPal as the only payment option for sellers. PayPal is not a suitable option for me, but I had no real alternative in this situation. I am also still waiting for the payment from the resale. Another issue is the amount of time that can be spent trying to understand the instructions and find clear answers. The information provided through emails and help pages is often confusing or difficult to follow, and finding a straightforward answer to a relatively simple question can take a considerable amount of time. Individually, each of these issues may seem manageable, but together they create a process that involves too much uncertainty, risk and frustration for the customer. Earlier ticket delivery, clearer information, more transparent ticket details, and more flexible payment options for sellers would significantly improve the overall experience. In short, when everything goes smoothly, Viagogo works reasonably well. However, the current processes surrounding ticket delivery, resale, payments and customer information need improvement, as they can result in a great deal of unnecessary time, uncertainty and frustration for users.
