Dishonest

Dishonest, booked a cab via their app specifying the exact journey details and time based on their estimate of £47 for the journey, they pre-auth a higher value, about £57 in this instance in case the journey exceeds the estimate, fair enough. Then the evening before I get a call saying the revised estimate is £70 so an increase of almost 50% no valid reason given. Have no idea if I accepted if the actual journey could have been a other 50% more again. Whether the are less deceitful if booking via telephone i can't say but definitely don't trust the app and i would suggest they are avoided entirely if you're able.
