You should not "pretend" that you are…

You should not "pretend" that you are in USA by including a US phone number !!! And NOT informing the buyer (from US) the product comes from France and that there will be a "tariff" ..... The tariff and fees was over 80% of the product cost.
Your product and selection is excellent !. Several years ago I was purchasing from 123bearing at a store in California.

I ordered bearings at a decent price…

I ordered bearings at a decent price but the shipping cost for a package weighing less than a pound was over $30. What they didn’t tell me before I ordered, and which I consider both unprofessional and unconscionable, is that there would be a 150% tariff I’d have to pay when the bearings got to the United States. Had that been in the quote needless to say I would not have ordered from them. Almost $100 for 8 bearings? When I contacted them they didn’t even acknowledge my complaint. Stay away from this company!

We do indeed ship from France, even though our website is based in the U.S. (which is used to facilitate communication and order processing). That’s why the shipping costs are so high. Regarding the customs fees incurred by the order, despite a delay in processing your email (due to higher-than-expected growth), We took the necessary steps by providing you with email addresses to file a complaint and also filed a complaint with them to correct these fees, which were exorbitant—and I agree. However, we are working to correct this so that it does not happen again in the future.

Ordered bearings slapped with 85% terrif fee .

Ordered bearings - $70 . Had to pay $30 for shipping which get real thats too high.. Then UPS shows up and wants a $90 payment for terrifs ..... bullshit! When NOTHING ON THE ORDER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT A 85% TERRIF FEE.
BAD BAD BUSINESS ...

We are sincerely sorry for this situation. Please believe us when we say this is just as frustrating for us as it is for you. While this is one order for you, we are currently fighting this battle for all our US customers and doing our best to resolve it with our carriers.

To address your concerns, we provide a local New York phone number and allow payments in USD specifically to help our customers reach us easily and avoid extra bank transaction fees. We do not hide that we ship from France, but we haven't added a fixed customs warning at checkout yet for a simple reason: lack of reliable data.

Customs regulations and tariffs are changing so frequently right now that there is no stable rate for us to display. Customs authorities are currently overwhelmed by these last-minute changes, and like many international exporters, we are struggling to obtain clear information to pass on to our users.

Furthermore, the $90 charge is largely due to our carrier, UPS, incorrectly reading our invoices and taxing the shipping costs as if they were goods.

Regarding a solution: Since we cannot refund government taxes that we never received, you have the option to refuse the delivery. If the package is returned to us, we will issue a full refund for your order.

We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience and are working hard to rectify these carrier issues for the future.

Website is good & prices are good

Website is good & prices are good. Ordering was easy. My Products came from france. US orders may take longer to arrive. US portion Shipping tracking information did not happen for my order. Maybe I missed something on tracking once the US handoff was made.

Would order again as long as I had the time to wait for the journey. My order took around a week. Impatient buyers beware.

Fast shipping it came in on time

Fast shipping it came in on time. I looked into so many different places to find the bearing size I needed and had no luck. Till I found this website 123 bearings came through for me. My truck was broke down for three months now it’s up and running again thanks to 123 bearing.com most definitely going to recommend this website to anyone who needs help finding bearings thanks a lot.

There was bad or no communication from the start

There was bad or no communication from the start. I was never made aware that the bearings were not in stock in the US and had to be imported from Europe. Besides having to pay an international transaction fee with the credit card, the package was stuck in customs for 1 month. The carrier stated that there was not enough information provided to identify the commodity. Multiple calls to 123bearings did not provide an adequate solution. At one point, it was suggested that I needed to pay a customs fee to get the package to clear customs. Reaching out to the carrier, it was shared that the vendor had still not provided the needed description, and hence, the items could not yet be released. At that point, I decided to cancel the order.
Will not be ordering from this outfir again and will not recommend it either.

We would like to clarify that we were in constant contact with the freight agent and US Customs to release your package as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, the additional information requested by the authorities was exceptionally specific and difficult to obtain—such as the country of origin for the smelting and pouring of the steel/aluminum.

Despite our efforts to coordinate with our suppliers to provide these technical details, the requirements for this specific shipment led to an unusual and extended blockage. Because we could not confirm these 100% specific manufacturing details to their satisfaction, US Customs held the package much longer than anticipated.

We fully understand why you chose to cancel the order under these circumstances. Please be assured that we are reviewing our internal processes regarding US imports to prevent this type of information gap in the future.

Got the part I needed that I could not…

Got the part I needed that I could not find anywhere else. Excellent service and quick delivery. As it was coming from France, Shipping costs were high and I had to pay a tariff (a few dollars.) But at least I was able to get my part. Would do it again if I needed.

The customs cost was not disclosed. I undestand the US has made several changes on tarrifs the past 1 or 2 but everyother business I have purcashed from told me the customes fees OR included them in the price. I just bought an item from Australia. I knew that I had the pay the customs fees and gladly did so becuase I was expecting it.
