In 2002 werd 12GO Biking door twee studievrienden ingeschreven bij de Kamer van Koophandel. Sindsdien is het hard gegaan. Inmiddels hebben we al meer dan 100.000 klanten geholpen met het uitkiezen van een nieuwe fiets en zijn we de grootste fietsenwinkel van Nederland. 12GO Biking wordt bovendien door klanten beoordeeld met een 9! Op de Trustpilot-pagina kun je lezen dat bijna elke klant een tevreden klant is. Mocht er toch iets mis zijn gegaan, lossen we dat altijd op met de klant. We zijn niet alleen groot omdat klanten tevreden zijn, maar klanten zijn ook tevreden omdat we groot zijn. Omdat we fietsen en accessoires groot inkopen kunnen we scherpe prijzen hanteren. Dankzij onze enorme voorraad van zo’n 8.000 fietsen in alle soorten en maten hebben we bovendien altijd de ideale fiets voor jou en kun je hem ook nog eens gelijk meenemen! Elektrische fietsen, racefietsen, mountainbikes en nog veel meer. Inmiddels is ons terrein verzien van een geheel nieuw logistiek gebouw. Daarnaast is er ook nog een nieuw modern service centre geopend, en kunnen klanten tijdens het wachten genieten van een overheerlijk broodje in het nieuwe lunch café La Musette.

Rude customer service

I called the call centre to get information about a bicycle. The gentleman on the call was rude, annoyed and he just put the phone down in my ear.

Hi Liezl,

Thanks for the feedback. Let me explain what happened from our side, because there are two things going on here.

You're right that our site can be confusing. It shows "in stock, select all options" while not every frame size is actually available, you'll have to select all options first. We'll take a look at how we present that, because this apparently isn't clear enough as is.

That said, the bike you were after genuinely wasn't in stock, however much we'd have liked it to be. That was the heart of the call. The conversation kept coming back to that one point, which made it run hot on both sides and that helped no one. Our colleague didn't mean to hang up on you, the line went quiet for an extended period with him repeatedly asking, we're very sorry if this came across that way.

So: a fair point about the site, and at the same time a bike we simply couldn't deliver from stock. Happy to look at which model in the same line is available now, so you still end up with the right bike. Just reach out and I'll sort it with you.

Massive shop, great online shop, and friendly and helpful assistance.
Only bike shop I could find that does full home delivery in the Netherlands for a new gravel bike - very happy overall.
Prices are competitive and range makes them one of the biggest online shops in the Netherlands.

The bike accessory that I ordered did not fit, and responses are not helpful.

The bike accessory that I ordered came with the wrong hardware. I raised it with 12GO and they responded asking me to buy the hardware myself and send them a receipt for reimbursement. I did that, but then there was another fit issue that caused the attachment to not work. I emailed 12GO about it and I am yet to receive any response.

Very good shop

Very good shop: I bought already two bikes here and in both cases it was a good service. With first bike I need a service and they fix the problem professionally. They also have a delivery. Prices for the goods are also reasonable.

Don't buy here

Don't buy here. I've purchased 2 electric bikes, 3k euros each. Both was delivered slightly damaged. I rased it via phone but was redirected to the email. Once I reached out via whatsapp, which is one of the communication channels they initially didn't respond. One of the empoyees responded via email and finally offered me some options. I agreed to the option to get a new sadle (since the sadle is damaged) and 150 euros of compensation. But they didn't come back to me even though I emailed them once again. Next day, another employee reached out to me via WhatsApp and offered a new sadle and...25 euros. Seriously? Once I told that person that it's different from what was agreed before I got only a respone "my collegue will reach out to you via email". And then was the silence. Got a problem for my 6k euros. It's not even fun. Now I have one bike for 3,4k euros with damaged sadle and another one - with damaged steer. Terrible. Probably will use my lawyer insurance and sort things out officially.

No Customer Support and Unprocessed Order After Two Weeks

It is impossible to reach customer service. I placed an order using FiscFree, and after it was approved, 12GoBiking changed my order without any explanation.

I have not been able to contact them at all. I tried the chat on their website and only received automated responses. I called and was told to contact them by email. I sent an email and again received an automated reply. I also tried WhatsApp, with the same result.

This has been a very frustrating experience. Nearly two weeks after placing the order, it has still not even been processed.

I would appreciate a prompt response and a clear update on my order status. If this issue is not resolved soon, I will consider canceling the order and requesting a refund.
