My son purchased the coffee bean advent calendar for my husband who is a coffee bean fanatic and he is really impressed and loving it. There are 50 grams of different coffee in each day and they are excellent. The item was purchased in the Berlin shop so I cannot attest to delivery but the item is very special and highly recommended.

I discovered 19grams during my efforts to find sweet and light roasted specialty coffee that ideally doesn’t have to be shipped around the world and that would be also tasteful when prepared with a moka pot. 19grams is located in Berlin and even though I’m not living in Berlin, shipping inside Germany was fine for me and I’m also in Berlin quite often and grabbed a bag directly there too.
I’ve startet getting their monthly subscription in January and have received 3 of their monthly changing coffees so far and I also got their house blend Wild Heart and one of their recent Decaf options.
All of the coffees have been top notch, flavorful and sweet with the right amount of acidity. Not a single bitter note in sight. The website is pretty straightforward and I’m amazed every single time when I can taste the flavor notes that the coffees are advertised with. I also like how transparent they are with the origin of the coffee, including pictures of the farm(s) and or washing station(s) and a map, making it very easily understandable. Since I get my coffee from 19grams, I cannot drink any other commercial coffee anymore! Yes, the coffee is not cheap but every euro spend was worth it!
Shipping has been very fast every time, almost Amazon Prime like with next day delivery.
Cannot complain about a single thing and I will definitely continue to get my coffee from there!

I ordered a set of coffee from their website with expedited delivery in 4 days. They sent the order only on the fourth day, of course I didn't receive it on time. Not that they didn't reimburse me for the difference in the expedited delivery - they didn't even apologize for their delay. Absolutely nothing to do with loyalty to customers. Too bad, as the level of service is not on the same level as the coffee.

I order a 1kg bag of coffee every month since the beginning of 2024 and the deliveries in Germany are fast, and coffee is always freshly roasted. Only good experiences so far.

Ordered an Advent Calendar 18th November.
Never received.
Emailed them asking for further information as to when I could expect the calendar.
Only response was to ask if I would line a refund instead of actually addressing the issue.
I responded explaining this and never received a response.
Managed to find a phone number to call and was told they wouldn’t help and insisted I just email.

Totally unprofessional organisation
After, this recent experience I just want my money back.

This was supposed to be an early Christmas present for my son who is now very disappointed.

I would recommend you save your money and not do business with these people as you will be disappointed and there customer service is abysmal.

They do not even deserve 1 star from me. As a professional bean to bar chocolate taster and specialty coffee aficionado, I had with 19grams one of the worst experience of my life for both costumer service and quality of their product. NEVER AGAIN. Because of them, I will not purchase specialty coffee in Germany from other roasters or specialty coffee retailers who sell their coffee as well. Actually, if you live in Germany, please just buy whole beans. Trust me, you will avoid a lot of headaches.
