complete bad service
i wanted to download file off this FILE HOSTING SERVICE with FDM and download broke and after trying to download it agian it wants u to wait 60 mins to try agian, this makes me not want to use the platform

You need to be careful about how you pay for this service. The service has always worked for me, paying small monthly subscriptions or a little more, the problem is that they go through gray market payment methods which are "by chance" continuously hacked and will have the numbers of the debit/credit card you use, that's all.
So be careful when paying them, as it was the only gray market service I used, I realized that it was thanks to them and their partners that I had to block a card for €40 of spending that wasn't mine.
I can classify this kind of idiot that rob to all people, without knowing if they are rich or poor, simply SCAMMERS WITH NO BALLS!!!

Dovete stare attenti alla maniera in cui pagate questo servizio. il servizio a me ha sempre funzionato, pagando piccoli abbonamenti mensili o poco più, il problema è che passano attraverso dei metodi di pagamento nel mercato grigio che vengono "per casualità" continuamente hackerati e utilizzeranno i numeri della carta di debito/credito che avete usato nel loro sito, tutto qua.
Quindi fate occhio al momento di pagare, essendo l'unico servizio del mercato grigio che ho utilizzato mi sono reso conto che è stato grazie a loro e ai loro partner che ho dovuto bloccare una carta per 40€ di spesa non miei.
Questo genere di idioti che rubano a tutti, senza sapere se sono ricchi o poveri, possono essere qualificati come TRUFFATORI SENZA PALLE!!!

Having to wait 2 minutes for nothing just to download a file without paying up is just petty and idiotic. Even worse, each file's download speed is painfully slow—many of them download at less than 50 KB/s on a decent connection. Once you download 3 or so like this, they force you to wait 48 HOURS to download more unless you pay. And since it's a file storage system, they're forcing you to pay to download files that aren't even theirs. Like, what is this site?

Trying to download a Nintendo switch rom (I played it before but my switch broke) and it takes one hour to download!!! I am not waiting one hour to bring back memories, I want to play this game now! Stay away from this crap website!

Edit: dear 1fichier this was just me with my pc downloading files not professional equipment like you said was banned.

Scam service : I request withdraw at 31 Dec 2023, should be paid at 01 Feb 2024, they changed their terms on 01 Feb 2024, and banned my account at 07 Feb 2024, everyone need to avoid this service of thieves.

after 2yrs working with this website as a publisher, they refused to sent me payout request and hold my ID card copy, it's totally scam service, avoid it if you want to upload your files as a webmaster, you'll receive this message at the end : "You have been rejected from the affiliation program"

I read and follow all ToS by two language, you just want to find a way to take away earning of publishers, at 1st I think it false, but after my search, all uploaders do not advice your services because you are just scammers, be aware with this file hosting dear uploaders.

I was having more than 170 affiliates, and earning from my affiliate sales, but you loose your reputation for payout my earning of 62 euro, shame on you, and sad to see you hold our sales income then ban us and misleading when you say not based on contents, because in your ToS said can't send funds if our files receive DMCA removals. It's a clear scam.

I am super surprised to see the 2/5 score here, and the negative reviews. I suspect it has to do with the reviewers using them as a file backup service or something? I don't know, I don't care, that's not what I use them for. If rapidshare, mega, userscloud, gofile, hexupload, all of them words mean something to you, read on. If not, ignore this review, and maybe read the bad ones, I don't know, I don't understand their use case, maybe they're right. They're wrong for me.

Last week I chose 1fichier.com as my single paid hoster in jDownloader. Been free-riding it up until now, but I need to up the speeds going forward, and €30 for a year is a good pricepoint, I think.

So why did I choose 1fichier? Well, because it was either them or pixeldrain.com. These are the only two hosters I'm consistently querying for files that have really good file retention. I'm trying to download files from nearly a year ago at the moment, and they're mostly still up on 1fichier.

Also, their download speeds are insane. I'm literally bottlenecked by the SATA write speed to my aging spindle temp files hard drive at around 50 MB/s, not the ethernet connection to their servers. I'm saturating my hard drive write performance with 1fichier.

I love being able to now just select 1fichier whenever I download something, not having to micromanage a barrage of individual hosters on their free tiers, and having the second-to-perhaps-only-pixeldrain (which is still good in free tier with no wait times between downloads) file retention on top of surprisingly old uploads as well.

One thing that's super weird, though, is that you have to buy these "vouchers" from other sites to get premium — I couldn't just pop in my credit card. It was a little sketchy, and when buying my one-year-voucher from some "boutique"-something reseller site with a 70-cent fee on top I not only crossed my fingers, but used a Revolut single-use credit card, just in case this was a complete scam. It wasn't, though, and went smoothly. And I've been downloading at blazing speeds every since.

If the language in this review makes sense to you, definitely go sub to 1fichier. If not, I don't know, I don't speak normie.

Potential to do good things, at a certain price, for a certain need. Not helped by dire support who refuse to answer pointed questions on specious grounds [so making your own troubleshooting rather difficult]. As transparent as a piece of concrete.

Hearing random comments about blocking of VPNs, VPS server entities and more hardly helps either.

I've been testing this off and on for maybe a year and well, my conclusion is wet-string-type [e.g. poor] bandwidth provision for uploading, questionable support and you can't just blame it on a foreign company with perhaps less great English skills either.

I'd rather pay double and get a half-decent, credible service. For what data I've stored there, I view it as "well if it is there tomorrow that's a bonus".

I'd ignore the astroturfing uber-positive comments too, or it is from someone whose upload a 5Mb file via a web interface and found it "easy".

The service is now completely useless, even with Premium usage. Premium users are banned from using VPN services. That may be fine for free users, after all, they want to earn money, but banning VPNs for premium users is just a really bad idea.

My ISP throttles file sharing services (or 1fichier throttles itself - unfortunately I can no longer verify that). There are also posts on the subject on reddit.

As things currently stand, 1fichier is a useless file hoster.

I'm using 1fichier for years now (premium). I always had full speed, but since a few months they are throttling the premium account to 50-300kb/s and treating me like I was a free user. It doesn't matter if it's over browser or download manager. A few months ago I thought it's just a temporary problem, but it didn't changed since that. I even tested a free VPN to look if they are throttling me and then it gives me full speed, but after a very short time it throttles down again to 50-300kb/s. I think they scam people to buy their new Premium GOLD, where you get "1h support a month and VPN support".

1fichier just sucks, slow ass download speeds, and it takes ages to download files.

AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

"Premium" is a joke. No unlimited downloads, no fast service, no nothing. And if you email to get help or complain they will 100% take your money, ban your account, and refuse to refund you. Absolute trash human beings behind their computers. The people who run this are the scum of the earth. They do not operate in the US or they would have been shut down, fined, or jailed long ago.

Do not trust this "company". Do not trust the people who run this company with your money. Any alternative is better than what 1Fichier pretends to offer.

It technically works, but what a terrible service! I understand that they want people to spend money, but there are better ways to do so, in my opinion. Rather than make an awful service slightly less awful, premium should add cool new features.

One more thing, if you are offering a paid service, try not to have your website looking like it's distributing malware.

Just a greedy company, taking your money, and giving nothing back. Paid for premium, but they still want CDN to download, so you are treated as free user. Stay far away from this company.

Download coincidentally "crashed" moments before finishing. I now have to wait an hour to retry a ten-gig download. I am neither their joke nor am I their punchline.

After i paid 25 EUR for a premium account , my account / static IP adress was banned and all my existing CDN points were erase.
I contacted the support , but their support is really , really bad.
Save your money !!!!!!!! and use another service

When it comes to sucking so bad, this one top the list, having rapidgator as 2nd, Turboit, fireblad and nitroflare this site are the worst site you can go and have a premium on, save your money and stay out from this site, their download is awfully slow, and even if you pay for premium it won't reflect you won't get email and customer service is just so poor. The constant network connection lost due to them using such cheap domain is one of the reason I really hate this site. My net caps at 15mbps per download I mean 15mb per second download tops and fluctuates to 10mb per second, so It's definitely not the internet.
