Beware cheap boiler service.
After a shambolic Wowcher 1/2 price "service" by a clueless 247 home rescue "engineer" he told me my CO readings were "off the scale" and I had to be cut off. A Cadent operative arrived within 15 minutes of him leaving and I was cut off for two freezing days. The Cadent man was shocked at how totally inadequate the service had been done and suggested I get a second opinion and told me about ExGas. I rang but they were already booked up and they put me on to 1st call gas.
Rob attended 2 days later and thoroughly serviced my 23 years old Potterton Prima boiler. The readings are now well below the maximum allowed and the boiler is producing more heat.
You get what you pay for and £66 for a 1st call service was great value.
