Fantastic Customer Service!

I was looking to upgrade fans in the house. With all the overwhelming options, I was a confused customer who couldn’t make up mind and made several mistakes with orders.
Nonetheless, I had privilege to talk to Mr. Gerad multiple times who gracefully help me with my odd request for orders exchange and replacements. He was not only professional but also very compassionate with my situation.
He and his team members spent several hours handling my need till I was fully satisfied. Furthermore, their shipments were on time, most importantly, they were very good about matching prices to get me the best deals on following fans!
As a returning customer, I highly recommend 1stoplighting.com.

Read the return policy.

Ordered two expensive ceiling fans and when my electrician was ready to install them he said they were not rated for my application. I understand this is not the company's fault but even when I offered to pay the shipping fees they would not allow me to return them. I am very disappointed in this.

Don't believe what is "in stock"

I ordered and paid for 4 light fixtures. After 4 days I received an email telling me they were backordered and only available 4 months from the order date. I then called to talk with a sales agent about a replacement fixture that was in stock. They confirmed the fixture was in stock and required that I place a new order and cancel my prior order. I was charged for both orders and had to wait about a week for a refund to hit my CC. Now on my second order, I just got an email saying that this new order is backordered, with the same (end November) date. They have had my money for 1 week on this new order, after confirming that it was in stock. This looks like a money laundering scam where they are making money on payments for orders that cannot be fulfilled. I am filing a complaint with the BBS and will source from another company.

Misleading descriptions and ZERO customer service

Bought three ceiling fans, not realizing the item description was inaccurate and the product was junk. Have been trying to get a return authorization code for almost two weeks. Impossible to get through to a live person at customer service. And they will only refund 90% of your purchase price, even when the return is due to their misrepresentation of item description.

Hello! I see your return request was filed on 7/30 and processed on 7/31. We have live agents staffing our online chat 6am PST - 3pm PST; in addition, we have a 24/7 Helpdesk available. I see one of our Helpdesk agents resent your return instructions today; I have also sent over another copy just in case.

While we do have a 10% return fee for any customer preference returns if you choose to use our return label, you also have the option of arranging your own shipping and you will receive a full refund for the item. If there is inaccurate information on the product page, please provide additional details on your Helpdesk ticket, so we can look into this further; we stand behind our products, so if there is an error, we will definitely work with you to get it taken care of.

Excellent service and good price

Prices were good. Service/delivery was quick. Customer Help through Ms Princess Reuss was extraordinary. Understood my issue with damage done to package during delivery and resolved my need for a replacement glass globe quickly with no hassle. We’ll use them again when the need arises. 5 stars!

The customer service provided by Princess at 1stoplighting was superior. She was kind, patient and very helpful. She knew I was very frustrated that one of my light globes was broken and I was worried I would have to buy a whole new fixture. Princess fixed my situation quickly. I would continue to buy from 1stoplighting because of the great customer service.

Do not order from this company

Do not order from this company. There are too many others that will provide much better customer service. I order a $200 copper light fixture. Received it and need to return it because it does not match the copper sinks and tub being installed. It is just more of a brown. I called the customer serv # but an automated system will quickly hang up on you- no live agents. You are forced to chat or email. I chose chat and explained the copper isn't actually copper and I would like to return...I was told I will pay for return shipping. So no fault of my own I am paying for shipping on an unusable product that isn't copper as stated. Very disappointed! So many other companies with free returns sold this same product but I didn't do my research. I will not buy from them again.

Gerard in customer service was…

Gerard in customer service was excellent. I spent countless hours trying to get someone to assist me by phone email and messaging. I was beyond frustrated until I finally was put in touch with Gerard. He was professional and finally took care of my issues. He told me what he would do to investigate told me when he would get back to me and followed through. A rarity in today’s society.

No customer service

After cancelling the order, 1 Stop shipped the product 8 hours later after I received confirmation of the cancellation. No ability to talk to a human. Finally "website chat" with a rep. Still going to charge 10% to return the item. Go to Home Depot or Lowes and avoid this company. No customer service.

Excellent customer service and great selection

I placed an order that was lost by the shipping company. Kao Kalia Vue provided exceptional customer service to track down and get the order to my house, with very prompt and thorough communication. I am so impressed. The lights that I ordered from ProgressLightingExperts / 1StopLighting were exactly what we were looking for, and they look terrific in our home. They back up your purchase!!

I purchased a bathroom light fixture from one stop lighting and one of the 3 lights started malfunctioning. I was able to get it working, but then the other two were flickering as well. It took a few emails and I had to send a video, but my new light fixture arrived in the mail today!! Thank you for backing up the products you sell! Well done!!

1 STOP LIGHTING ordered a ceiling fan on July 26

Ordered a ceiling fan on July 26, charged on July 27. I had heard nothing from them no confirmation nothing. The only way to contact co.is virtual. They stated it would not ship until 10/2. Why do they take our money without informing us the item is not in stock.
The idea you can speak to know one is very unfair and crooked that they immediately take your money and don’t ship a fan.
Do not trust this co. 1stop lighting.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

Had a minor issue with a lampshade. Let 1stoplighting know about the issue via email. They responded promptly and their service agent, Princess Reus, was super helpful. She had a replacement lampshade sent out to me within days of that email. Excellent customer service! Would buy from here a million more times because of this! :)
