Avoid this company at all costs.

Avoid this company at all costs.
I called them to fix a leaking bath waste trap I’d fitted myself. I was told it would be £35 call-out, then I’d get a quote before any work was done. No parts were needed—the plumber simply screwed the trap on properly and was done in under 20 minutes.

Then I was hit with a bill for £320—£35 call-out and £285 for “an hour’s labour”. I tried to dispute it, but was told bluntly that’s just the price.

Daylight robbery. £285 to screw a cap on? This feels like a total rip-off and I’m now seriously considering taking action. Do not use this company.

Absolutely avoid this company

Absolutely avoid this company! They say the call out charge is £35 and then you have to pay £310 and then £50 for parts which cost £2.50. I told them I wouldn’t be paying, and they said I can pay £100. They threatened us with debt collectors, refused to leave the premises!

Careful, this is not a plumber but a marketing company!

While you may think they are plumbers, this is in fact a marketing company that sends other plumbers to do the job. At no point they will disclose this information, or inform you about the real emergency hourly rate, which are much higher than average (£100-150, according to google).

I booked an emergency repair on a Monday evening and the job was completed only on the following Friday because it took time to find the parts. On Monday, they told me that the call would have costed £35, which I paid immediately. However, nothing was done on Monday and another plumber came on Tuesday, and finally completed the work on Friday.

No problem with the plumber's work, However, when he was done, I was presented with a bill of £350 for one hour of work. The reason I have been given is that 50% goes to the agent (this marketing company), thus all hourly rates are effectively doubled to account for it.

At no point I was told that:
1. this was an agent/marketing company and not a plumber.
2. that this would have incurred me in extra fees compared to the average emergency plumbing rates. No one told me that the hourly rate would have been £350.

Also, on their website they say that they have five stars on TrustPilot, but I could not find their company here.
