2Gether Insurance Reviews 

I had a policy with 2Gether insurance in my old car. After I changed car, I got a new policy with them, but didn't realise the old one was set to auto-renew. They were very helpful and cancelled the old policy since I couldn't use it and had a new policy with them on my current car.

Easy to access the website from money supermarket and simple to join the organisation. Don’t know if the turnout response is up to scratch because I haven’t broken down yet and hope that I won’t have to use them.

Very competitive quote but with all these type of demand led services, the reality will be in the event of a breakdown which hopefully will not be necessary

We broke down whilst driving through Croatia, on contacting the company I was informed that although I had full European cover I had not informed the company where I would be at that time and so was not covered ! As I was randomly travelling around Europe with no itinerary that was only possible if I phoned them every day to say where I would be. Had to pay for a very expensive tow from the motorway will find a better policy next time !!!

Telephoned this company and spoke to someone called Joe. I told him the details of what sort of cover I wanted and he was very knowledgeable and professional. I didn’t realize that if I hit a pothole and damaged my tyre normal breakdown will not come to your rescue so gave me the option of joining a membership at a very reasonable price to cover that. Excellent breakdown cover.

Absolutely appalling breakdown service – what is the point of paying for cover?

I am absolutely disgusted with the service I have received from 2gether Insurance. They claim that “customer satisfaction is our number one priority”, but my experience has been the complete opposite.

Their breakdown cover apparently states that if your vehicle cannot be fixed, you will be offered onward travel home. Sounds reassuring, doesn’t it? Unfortunately, when you actually need to rely on them, it appears to mean very little.

We have been left in a situation where 2gether Insurance won’t even send a mechanic out to assess the vehicle and see whether the problem can be fixed, yet they are also unwilling to provide the assistance we need to get home. How exactly is anyone supposed to know whether a vehicle can be repaired if you refuse to send someone out to look at it?

Quite honestly, I cannot understand what the point of paying for breakdown cover is if, when you actually break down and need help, the company doesn’t appear willing to provide it.

The promises made when selling the policy sound great, but when it comes to actually needing that support, my experience has been extremely disappointing. Customer satisfaction certainly does not feel like their number one priority.

I would strongly recommend anyone considering breakdown cover through 2gether Insurance to read the small print very carefully and question exactly what assistance you will actually receive when you need it, because based on my experience, the reality is very different from what you might reasonably expect from the wording of the policy.

Absolutely appalling service and a complete waste of money in my experience.

They refused to help me and my kids stranded on the motorway. They said they came out last month for the gearbox and since then it has been repaired. This issue is engine related as it has no power but drives.

I usually shun the cheapest service. "You get what you pay for" etc. However, I have had 2Gether for 2 years and when I had a flat battery outside my own front door, the technician was there very quickly to get me up and running. The proof of the pudding is in the eating, they say. I am very pleased.

I had a flat battery and they sent an engineer who said there was nothing wrong with it, it just needs a good run. So I did this and a week later it would not start, but "Gether refused to come out unless I paid an axorbitent amount as I should have replaced the battery ( this was there policy!) But they were responsible for sending a competent engineer, the advisor said you should not listen to the engineer just replace what ever caused it? I will never use them again, they also sent me the renewal with out asking me. Most companies give a quote to see if you want to stay with them
