I came across 4 Eyes Optical in my search to provide new lenses. Gene was a great help to source what I was after and his product knowledge was great. Really appreciated the SMS messages with photos to determine my best options.

Hi Leah & Gene. Wow! I am sitting here staring in adoration at the new lenses that you have installed into my Adidas sunglass frames. When I opened the case it was like one of those movie moments, you know, the dazzling golden glow and the choir of angelic voices as I held them up. They are perfect - better than how I pictured they would be actually. The finish is beautiful and the mirrors suit the frames perfectly. They add that retro feel that I was after.

Man, they take me back to the summer of 1984, I was 12 years old and given a pair of mirrored aviator sunglasses that I thought were the coolest. I wore them everywhere, even at night. My dad started calling me Alfonso Cool (sarcastically of course) but I didn't care, I reckon he was jealous. I don't know what happened to that pair, but this pair takes me back to all those feelings all those years ago.

Leah, I just want to thank you and Gene for everything. From when you picked up my email enquiry that I sent from here on the Gold Coast to you in Far North Qld on the 6/5/25 to receiving the finished product today, the 27/5/25 - a three-week turnaround. Amazing!

As you know, I was looking for an Optometrist that could provide mirrored lenses for my existing sunglasses frames. I could not find anyone on the Gold Coast that could do this, but when I saw your business online and sent you my enquiry, you replied quickly, you were helpful and professional, you were warm and friendly, and your obvious expertise set me at ease with sending my sunnies and monies all the way to FNQ.

I realised I made a mistake when I placed my first order so I called and it was fixed for me straight away. I received my order 2 weeks after placing it and the lenses were perfect using my own frames. I have recently had cataract surgery and my prescription changed so I have more excellent frames to get new lenses in. Reading and Sunglasses. I’ll be getting them all here.

Impeccable service. I knew I was in excellent hands when Gene called me directly to explain that I had ordered a feature that came with another feature I had ordered, so I could have a refund. I asked for a credit instead and Leah quickly sent me a code for my next order. And there will be a next order as the two sets of glasses I sent were perfectly reglazed and, as other people have mentioned, scrupulously clean, upon receiving them back. The cost is highly competitive with other organisations providing this service and I felt the difference of dealing personally with a small business versus the abyss of a large organisation.
