Booked a flight with Turkmenistan Airlines through a Kiwi-Kayak cooperation platform. First problem: It's not clear which of the two is responsible. Second problem: 48h before departure, Kiwi sent us automated invitations that it's "now time to check in online", and that we should do this on the airline website. Problem: This doesn't work. As the airline was also unresponsive, this flawed information caused us some pre-flight anxiety whether we would take off at all. Kiwi's AI agent "Nathan" was quick to respond but unhelpful in substance. The correct response would have been: Do not check in online, this airline wants you to check in directly at the airport. Which worked out fine, by the way, as did the flight.

Truly awful experience. I had booked a flight and called the support line to choose seating and clarify a few things. When I called I was connected to a center in India and told I would have to pay £300 there and then otherwise my flight would be cancelled. I tried 3 more times and was told the same thing for varying amounts for additional 'taxes' despite me highlighting Kiwi's own T&C's prevent this and the sale states all taxes included. When I tried email, I just got repeated AI responses

I reserved a specific seat on a reservation with KIWI, and because my incoming flight was delayed and I didn't confirm the new seat before checking in I lost the seat and had to sit middle for something that should not have happened. Will not use this website ever again.
