Pionex froze my withdrawals and trading after I made profits. Avoid this exchange.

My Pionex UID is **22991365**.

I deposited USDT into my Pionex account, and all of the following deposits were marked as **Complete**:

- May 19, 2026, 2:05:33 PM: **6.3 USDT**
- May 19, 2026, 2:39:49 PM: **3 USDT**
- May 21, 2026, 1:50:40 PM: **6.92 USDT**

After trading on Pionex, I tried to withdraw **29.89985978 USDT** on **May 25, 2026, 9:50:58 AM**.

The withdrawal failed. The system showed:

**“Rejected, System busy”**

Status: **Failed**

Then, on **June 08, 2026**, Pionex’s Risk Management Team emailed me and claimed that they had detected **“unusual trading activity”** in my account.

They said they had temporarily restricted both my **trading function** and **withdrawal function**.

The trading pairs they mentioned were:

- **OPENEDEN**
- **PROVE**
- **GRASS**

The period they mentioned was:

**May 19, 2026 to May 23, 2026**

Pionex then demanded a huge amount of private information from me, including:

- A detailed explanation of my trading motives and strategies
- Entry and exit criteria
- Stop-loss and take-profit strategies
- Holding periods
- Trading records from other exchanges for at least the past 6 months
- Market analysis, forecasts, charts, news articles, or research reports I used
- Source of funds documents, such as bank statements or salary slips
- A full explanation of the path of funds and transaction hashes
- Information channels I used and proof that all information was publicly available
- A declaration about whether I am affiliated with any other accounts
- KYC 2 verification

I do not want to continue using a platform that freezes users’ withdrawals and trading after they make profits.

I also do not agree to provide excessive private information and unrelated trading records from other exchanges just to recover access to my own funds.

The facts are simple:

My deposits were completed.

My withdrawal failed.

After that, Pionex restricted both my trading and withdrawal functions.

If Pionex does not welcome profitable traders, they should simply close my account and return my principal.

They should not freeze users’ funds and put users in a helpless position.

Based on my experience, I strongly advise everyone to be extremely careful with Pionex.

If you care about being able to withdraw your own money, avoid this exchange.

Pionex should release my principal immediately.

Unauthorized charges continued even…

Unauthorized charges continued even after freezing my Pionex Card.

I reported suspicious transactions to Pionex support and clearly explained that only one transaction was made by me. I froze the card as advised, but the charges continued even after the card was frozen.

I contacted support more than once, provided screenshots and explained the situation, but there has been no real resolution. The account balance is now negative because of transactions I did not authorize.

Support keeps saying they will investigate, but nothing is being fixed. I requested the card to be deleted and the account to be closed, but the issue is still unresolved.

Very disappointing experience, especially for a financial service where card security and support response should be taken seriously.

Dear User,

Thank you for sharing your feedback.

Unfortunately, we were unable to locate a matching case based on the name "Pasha K." However, we would like to address several points based on the information provided in your review.

Freezing the card was the correct action to take in this situation. We also provide guidance on handling abnormal-risk and unauthorized transactions in the following article: https://support.pionex.com/hc/en-us/articles/57501572451865

Please note that freezing a Pionex Card immediately disables all card spending functions. However, it cannot prevent merchants from continuing to submit payment requests that were previously authorized, such as subscription services or recurring payments. While these payment attempts may still be initiated by the merchant, they will generally fail due to the card being frozen. As outlined in our card policy, one failed payment is free of charge per user per month, while repeated failed payment attempts may incur the relevant failed payment fees. More information can be found here: https://support.pionex.com/hc/en-us/articles/48279498374169

To resolve the issue at its source, we recommend contacting the merchant directly to cancel the relevant subscription or recurring payment authorization. If you are unable to reach the merchant or stop the recurring charges, please provide any relevant evidence, including your communication attempts with the merchant, to our official support team. Our team can then review the case further and determine whether additional actions can be taken through the card network.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hi Obinna,

Thanks for taking the time to look into Pionex before signing up — that kind of due diligence is smart.

To answer your question: when users leave reviews, they usually share case-specific details (ticket ID, order ID, TXID, UID, etc.), which is how we locate their case and confirm the actual resolution. So the responses you saw are tied to real, verified cases.

If you'd like to know more before getting started, our support team is available 24/7 via live chat on the website and app, or at service@pionex.com.

Welcome aboard, and best of luck with your trading.

scammers!

Beware of them, they withdraw money from your account multiple times for a single purchase! Scammers! I have screenshots to prove it, but it's a shame I can't attach them here! I made a purchase on eBay on May 25, 2026, using their Mastercard (note that the commission is 4%, which is a lot!), but on June 3, 2026, the amount was debited from my account again, as if I bought something on eBay again (id order 202606031010171521642)! But I haven't bought anything on eBay since May 25, 2026. I contacted support, and they told me I had to make a deposit of 650 USDT and pay a 50 USDT commission to get my $59.98 back! I wrote a letter to support, but they didn't even respond! It's terrible!

Update: more than 30 days have passed, but the problem remains. An unauthorized transaction has not been canceled.
I am preparing legal action, and anyone who experienced something similar is welcome to contact me.

Dear User,

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we understand your frustration.

After reviewing the transaction you referenced, our findings indicate that the second charge is linked to your earlier eBay order rather than being a separate, unrelated transaction — this can happen when a merchant processes or settles an order in stages. We'd recommend confirming directly with eBay how the order was processed on their end, as they'll have the clearest record of this.

If, after checking with the merchant, you still believe the charge was unauthorized, we're glad to guide you through initiating a chargeback. We've outlined the full details in our email to you, and remain available at service@pionex.com for any further assistance.

Thank you for your understanding.

Great bots

I have been using Pionex for about 10 months now. In the beginning I was not very profitable (and I lost money during the October crash) but the more I study the happier I am with the performance of my bots. You should not think that bots are „set and forget“ type of instrument. But if you understand the medium term price action of your asset and if you spend some time learning how to manage the bots you will definitely make money. I only hope that I will be allowed to use them in the future as a EU resident. My country is still ok, I definitely want to stay!

🚨 Serious Public Warning

🚨 Serious Public Warning — Be Extremely Careful With Pionex 🚨

I am warning everyone as clearly as possible: based on what happened to me, Pionex took funds from my personal account during a critical trading event, removed my ability to trade, and only after heavy pressure admitted that there was a platform-side issue and that I am eligible for compensation.

From my point of view, this is an extremely serious case that looks like direct harm to users’ funds. My money disappeared from my account without proper warning, exactly when I had prepared for weeks for the SpaceX/SPCX event. At the most important moment, I simply did not have my own money available to trade.

I am telling the public: be extremely careful with Pionex.

What happened to me can happen to anyone.

Money inside your account is not truly safe if a platform can remove it, delay the return, and then keep telling you: “please wait, it is being processed.”

In my opinion, this is a serious case of funds being taken from a user account, delayed compensation, and massive financial damage.

I am preparing legal action, and anyone who experienced something similar is welcome to contact me.

Pionex must take full responsibility for every dollar and every damage caused.

Dear User,

Thank you for sharing your feedback.

We are sorry to hear about your concerns regarding this trading event. After reviewing your case in detail, our team identified that the price discrepancy you observed during the liquidation process was related to the timing of funding fee settlement and market volatility conditions at the time. This may lead to differences between the estimated and actual liquidation price shown in the system.

Regarding your case, it was promptly reviewed by our team once received, and after verification, your compensation eligibility was confirmed. The corresponding compensation was then processed and successfully credited to your account following the completion of the review.

We would also like to emphasize that all user cases are handled in accordance with our risk management and review procedures to ensure fair evaluation and timely resolution.

I am filing a formal complaint against…

I am filing a formal complaint against Pionex regarding suspected improper retention of my funds.

I sent 54.284632 USDT via Optimism / USDT0 from OKX to a deposit address generated inside my Pionex account.

TXID:
0xc25f7ffc1bef4d156dca20bbafb94d981c6f548907793f60f220f54ff9945d15

Pionex deposit address:
0x4A697e3A2ffDE1B35B19784C4F17Fbef55AB7969

The transaction was confirmed on-chain. Pionex support itself previously confirmed that the transaction had enough confirmations and should have been credited.

Despite that, Pionex did not credit the funds and is requiring a 20 USDT recovery fee to return my own money.

A 20 USDT fee over 54.284632 USDT represents 36.84% of the amount, which is abusive, disproportionate and unreasonable.

The support handling has also been inconsistent: repeated scripted responses, requests for information already provided, premature ticket closure, unclear asset wording, and contradictory statements from different agents.

I request:

1. full return/credit of 54.284632 USDT;
2. waiver of the 20 USDT fee;
3. written explanation for the inconsistent handling;
4. legal entity responsible for my account;
5. official complaint/compliance channel;
6. the case to remain open until the funds are actually returned or credited.

Attached evidence includes the OKX transaction screenshot, Pionex deposit address screenshot, TXID, support confirmations, recovery fee messages, and ticket history.

Dear User,

Thank you for sharing your feedback.

After reviewing your case, we would like to clarify that the asset deposited was USD₮0 on the Optimism network. Unfortunately, Pionex does not currently support USD₮0 deposits on any network. While we do support USDT deposits via the Optimism network, USD₮0 and USDT are different assets. You can review the tokens and networks currently supported for deposits on Pionex here: https://www.pionex.com/en/fees

To help users deposit funds safely, both the Pionex app and website display the supported network information and the corresponding contract address on the deposit page. We strongly recommend verifying these details carefully and ensuring that both the selected network and the token contract address match before initiating a deposit.

If an unsupported asset was deposited, users may submit an asset recovery request. If the recovery request is approved, a recovery fee may apply due to the manual work and technical resources required to process the request.

If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to contact our official support team.

Predatory Fees and False Network Labeling - Shady Support

Pionex is intentionally mislabeling standard Optimism Mainnet (Chain ID 10) transactions as 'World Chain' to avoid crediting deposits. They are holding my $18.90 USDC hostage and demanding a $20 recovery fee. Even after providing direct blockchain explorer proof, agents 'Nadia' and 'Gem' refused to escalate the matter to a manager, stating their 'answer will be the same.' This is not a technical issue; it is a systematic attempt to seize small deposits. I have taken this public on X (Twitter) and reported it to the Optimism Foundation. Stay away from this exchange if you value your funds.

Dear User,

Thank you for sharing your feedback.

Pionex does not support USDC deposits via the "World Chain" network. However, we do support USDC deposits through the Optimism network.

If funds are deposited via an unsupported network, users may submit an asset recovery request. If the recovery request is approved, a recovery fee may apply due to the manual work and technical resources involved in processing the request. In cases where the incorrectly deposited amount is smaller than the recovery fee, we generally do not recommend proceeding with the asset recovery process.

Charged for declined transactions – no refund (30+ days)

Card charged for declined transactions – no refund

I used this card to make a purchase, but both transactions were declined by the merchant. No order was created and the merchant confirmed no payment was received.

However, my card was still charged (~$670 total).

It has been over 30 days and support keeps delaying without opening a dispute or issuing a refund.

Very concerning experience.

Dear User,

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience you experienced.

For card transactions, if a payment is declined by the merchant, it is generally expected that no final charge is completed. However, in some cases, an authorization hold may still occur temporarily on the card balance before it is automatically refunded.

Regarding your case, we would like to confirm that both transactions have already been successfully refunded to your Pionex account.

We understand your concern regarding the delay and would like to assure you that our support team has already opened a dispute for cases where refunds are not successfully processed after the standard refund processing timeframe.

If you have any further questions or require additional support, please feel free to contact our official support team.

Thank you for your understanding.

Account frozen for 18+ days with NO resolution. UID 62697479 - Indefinite retention of funds.

My account (UID 62697479) has been restricted, and my assets have been frozen for over 18 days without any clear explanation or resolution timeline. I have already submitted a formal legal inquiry on April 3, 2026.
Pionex claims the restriction is due to "High Risk Transactions," yet I have provided exhaustive evidence and source of wealth documentation to prove the legitimacy of my funds and my non-involvement in any suspicious activity. Despite my full cooperation, the support team refuses to provide a specific deadline for the review or any options to withdraw my property.
This is an unacceptable lack of transparency and a violation of customer rights. It feels like an unlawful retention of funds. If my case is not resolved immediately, I will be filing official complaints with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Seychelles FSA. Potential users, beware: your funds can be frozen indefinitely here with zero communication.
I demand an immediate response and a clear date for my account restoration.

Update 1.05.2026. Pionex froze my account and won't allow a one-time withdrawal. This is theft for far-fetched reasons. I've given all the explanations. Documents are provided. Thieves!! Scammers!! Fraudsters!!
I demand a one-time withdrawal. Otherwise, it's theft. Or return everything to the wallet from which the transfer was made.

UPDATE May 1: Pionex claims the case was finalized on Feb 26, but this is false and misleading. I sent key evidence on March 9, which they completely ignored. They are trying to hide behind an old date to avoid returning my $12,700. This is not a 'thorough investigation' if you ignore documents sent by the user after your supposed deadline. I demand a review of my March 9 documents immediately

UPDATE 13 May: MAS Singapore (Case MAS-2026-05-00038) officially confirmed that Pionex is NOT licensed or regulated in Singapore. Pionex is misleading customers. I am now filing a criminal report with the Singapore Police (SPF) for the theft of my $12,700

UPDATE 14 June: As directed by MAS Singapore (Ref: MAS-2026-05-00038), I have officially submitted a criminal complaint to the Singapore Police Force (SPF) for the theft of my $12,700. I have provided the police with all timelines, including the evidence they ignored on March 9. Pionex is now operating under an active police reporting process in Singapore. Potential users, escape while you can."

⚠️ UPDATE (June 18, 2026): GOOGLE FRAUD INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED ⚠️

Pionex management continues to unlawfully freeze my $12,700 USD under fake pretexts. Following their official written refusal to return my assets, Google Play Trust & Safety has officially launched a corporate fraud and compliance investigation against Pionex under Case Investigation Ticket Number: [3-9024000041411].

All critical evidence has been submitted to Google, including:
1. The active criminal case registered with the Singapore Police Force (Ref: 20260527/0126) regarding Pionex's asset misappropriation.
2. Official confirmation from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS Case Ref: MAS-2026-05-00038) that Pionex is NOT licensed to operate digital payment token services.
3. Written admissions from Pionex support explicitly confirming they are intentionally withholding consumer funds.

Pionex is now facing an active regulatory review for policy violations (Deceptive Behavior & Financial Services), carrying the immediate risk of a permanent store ban and removal of their application (com.pionex.bingo) from Google Play.

I will keep this review updated until my legitimate funds are fully released and returned to my account (UID: 62697479). Avoid this platform at all costs—they are operating illegally and misappropriating user assets!

Flawless and innovative platform

Very easy to use, transparent, highly competitive pricing, very good options for bot trading, although one has to fully understand whatever one is configuring, because for beginners, the possibility to commit errors is quite high. If you do not understand what a funtion means, review carefully and aducate yourself before using it. Most negative reviews probably have their origin in the lack of using Pionex, not due to the product itself, which is flawless and very innovative.

I traded on this exchange for over a…

I traded on this exchange for over a year, I would close a trade or set a stop loss that was clearly in profit for example 20$ and the trading fee was high but even with the trading fee I should still make a profit but then my balance would go down, and this happened over and over and over again, I lost so much money from this exchange and I feel like I was robbed, I transferred my money to Binance, Binance did not have perp trading in my region so I had no choice but now the perp trading is available and my experience has been night and day, I am actually making money trading now, I lost thousands of dollars on Pionex even though I was using stop losses and I could not understand it, I would close losing trades early but the losses compounded SO QUICKLY because their trading fees are CRAZY, also I noticed very strange behaviors while trading on this exchange like price moving over a section on the graph and not leaving a candle wick where price moved and the site likes to get extremely slow or just log you out while you are in an intense trade.. also over and over the price would move against you as soon as you open your position meaning you are in a loss from the moment you enter your trade like the exchange is trading against you, there was definitely something very strange going on with this exchange, be cautious with this exchange especially if you want to do scalp trading, long swing trades they are ok....

Dear User,

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we are sorry to hear about your experience.

We understand how important it is for trading performance, execution, and fee transparency to be clear and consistent for all users. We'd like to address the concern about trading fees directly: Pionex charges 0.020% for makers and 0.050% for takers on futures trading, which is among the most competitive rates in the industry. All applicable fees are disclosed prior to order execution and are reflected in your trade history. You can find a full breakdown of our fee structure here: https://www.pionex.com/en/fees

Regarding the other behaviors you described — such as price movements, chart display, and session timeouts — these are serious concerns that we take very seriously, and we want to make sure they are properly investigated based on your actual account records.

To do so, we kindly ask you to contact our official support team and provide the relevant details, including your account UID, order IDs, and any supporting screenshots related to the trades in question. Scam site. Make it's really easy to add funds, then charges a $20 fee to transfer back to your account and makes it really difficult by requiring supporting documents from your bank. They literally don't want to give you your money back and make you work hard to get it. Also, they charge too many transaction fees and you rarely even break even. $1,002 of my deposited funds still being withheld by Pionex

I am sharing my experience with Pionex to document an unresolved account dispute.

My account was frozen following an allegation of promotion abuse related to a futures grid bonus. Pionex did not allege any illegal activity, fraud, or prohibited source of funds. I provided full documentation showing the legitimate source of my deposited funds.

Despite this, Pionex informed me that my entire deposited principal (USD 1,002) would be indefinitely retained as “compensation for damages.”

I formally requested that Pionex explain or quantify what damages were allegedly caused and how my deposited funds constituted compensation for those damages. No calculation, evidence, or proportional explanation was provided. After this request, Pionex stopped responding.
I formally requested the return of my deposited principal. That request was denied, and subsequent attempts to obtain further clarification have received no response for over 30 business days.
I am seeking the return of my deposited funds. I am posting this publicly because all attempts to resolve this directly with Pionex have been exhausted.

Update 15/04/2026

Pionex you are still claiming I misused futures bonus, however you are yet to give a breakdown of the said bonus you said I misused and how my $1,000 deposit is the right or appropriate compensation for any alleged loss which you are still yet to give a detailed review. What is going on here guys. I'm literally being locked out of my money can't access it can't withdraw it and here is a company laying claim to my own funds without giving any breakdown for there claims, just like that???

Dear User,

Thank you for sharing your feedback.

Futures Grid Bonus USDT is actual USDT that belongs to the platform. It is distributed to eligible users based on specific event participation criteria. Users can use these bonuses to trade, and profits generated belong to the user. In cases where losses occur while using eligible bonus funds, the platform bears those losses.

However, in situations where users maliciously claim Futures Grid bonuses for which they are not eligible, misuse those bonuses and when losses occur, the platform may conduct a comprehensive investigation. If promotional funds have been abused, we may need to recover damages caused by the misuse of those promotional funds.

To learn more about the Futures Grid Bonus and how it is intended to be used, we welcome you to refer to the following article: https://support.pionex.com/hc/en-us/articles/49796487217561
