Pionex refused to process my Visa dispute unless I shared my entire Lazada/Taobao purchase and refund history and even video recordings of all my personal emails, none of which have anything to do with the charge I’m disputing.
These invasive demands violate Visa Core Rules and MAS consumer protection standards, so I have filed a complaint (FIDReC REF#2025/13555) with XFERS PTE. LTD., the regulated issuer.
Until this is addressed, Pionex cannot be trusted to handle disputes fairly or securely.

I lost my funds because it was my own fault. Pionex was able to rescue them for me, although it took some time and required a processing fee. Still, everything was handled professionally and securely.
I mistakenly transferred 100 USDT to Pionex’s hot wallet. Pionex agreed to return the funds but requested a 47 USDT fee, which is almost half of the amount involved.
While I fully admit the mistake was mine, I think charging almost 50% of the funds as a “return fee” is not reasonable, especially when a cheaper network option (like TRC20) could solve the issue with ~10 USDT fee.
Has anyone faced something similar with Pionex? I hope they reconsider their policy and provide a fairer resolution

I think this is scam

I want to share my recent experience with Pionex, because it highlights a deeply problematic and, in my view, unethical business practice.
I joined Pionex through an official referral promotion that promised a $500 bonus for a $1,000 deposit. The promotion page (still publicly accessible) made no mention of the bonus being temporary, expiring, or subject to obscure hidden conditions. As a reasonable customer, I deposited $1,000 in good faith, fully expecting the clearly advertised reward.
Here is where the problem began:
The platform credited the bonus but silently set it to expire within a matter of hours, without ever stating this condition on the promotional page.
The only way a customer could discover the expiry was after the fact by digging into obscure “system messages” within the platform—something the company knows most new users will not routinely check.
When I contacted support, the response was robotic and dismissive. They insisted I “should have checked notifications,” but could not point to where on the original campaign page this crucial expiry condition was disclosed.
This is not a small oversight—it’s a classic bait-and-switch tactic: attract users with a large, attractive bonus, then quietly ensure that most will never actually receive the value because of hidden expiry mechanics.
Let’s be clear:
If a bank or regulated exchange offered a $500 incentive for deposits, failure to disclose an expiry upfront would be considered misleading advertising.
Bonuses that “disappear” unless used within hours, while never being disclosed in advance, amount to nothing more than predatory marketing designed to acquire customers without honoring commitments.
The support team’s attitude further underlined the lack of transparency. Instead of acknowledging the obvious problem—that the signup page omits critical conditions—they tried to redirect responsibility back to the user.
In plain terms: Pionex lured me in with a promise, failed to deliver transparently, and then blamed me for their lack of disclosure.
Crypto already struggles with trust and legitimacy. Companies like Pionex, by engaging in ambiguous, misleading, and customer-hostile practices, only reinforce the perception that many platforms cannot be trusted.
- Misleading advertising, poor transparency, unethical customer treatment. AVOID WITH ANY COST

great for beginners with a good features, bots works nice, low fees
The whole thing is a rip off. They froze my account without warning, then kept asking for document after document even though I didn't break any rules. Every time I try to get help, I just get the same automated message. No real answers, no real support. Don't waste your time or money here. You won't be able to withdraw a thing.
Right now, I am focused on my growth on FIFTH & heaven. They have been honest with me the whole way and I actually get my money when I ask for it.

Lack of transparency in Pionex leveraged futures bots
I’ve traded with a significant amount of capital using Pionex’s futures bots, and after analyzing their interface and mechanics in depth, I’ve identified serious gaps in the information provided to users — especially those trading with leverage.
The platform does not clearly show the true break-even price adjusted for leverage and funding, nor does it provide a transparent view of unrealized PnL. This makes accurate risk management very difficult for advanced users.
After reaching out to support, the official response was that the interface is “simplified for beginners,” which implicitly acknowledges that it doesn’t meet the needs of professional or experienced traders. Although they said my feedback would be passed to the product team, no real solution or alternative was offered.
My recommendation: if you’re managing leveraged positions or require detailed metrics for precision trading, consider more transparent and professional alternatives.

Response to company reply:
I appreciate the public reply and your effort to explain where to find the “Break-even Price” and PnL breakdown.
However, I want to highlight that the issue is not about finding the numbers — it’s about how clearly and transparently they are presented.
For users managing leveraged bots with significant capital, it’s crucial to have an accurate, real-time average entry price clearly displayed, and a straightforward PnL breakdown that includes unrealized + funding + grid profits in a unified view.
Clicking around to piece it together isn’t efficient or reassuring for serious traders. This should be a priority UI upgrade.
I hope the product team truly takes this feedback into account — the platform is great, but needs more precision for those who use it at a higher level.

2 response to company reply:
Thank you for the more detailed explanation.
I appreciate the effort to clarify how the break-even price and unrealized PnL are calculated. However, I still believe the way this information is displayed in the bot interface can be misleading — especially for users who don’t have access to the exact formulas behind it.
For example, after entering a long position at 118,000 sats with 8x leverage, while the market price was at 118,650 sats, the bot still showed a –1.20% unrealized loss, and the break-even price was listed at 119,589.3 sats.
This creates confusion, as the current price is above the entry price, and yet the bot reflects a loss.
It would be very helpful if the platform offered a clearer breakdown of how these values are calculated — including the effect of funding fees, grid profit, and leverage — all in one place.
I share this as constructive feedback, with the goal of improving transparency and user experience.
