I am an adult returning to piano studies. I took piano from age 9 through early university. After one year with Aaron Pilsan I have improved beyond my university days. His system is comprehensive. I have learned more specific technique from him than I ever did with many fine piano teachers. The group classes are valuable. Great feedback and learning from others. My playing is more confident and more musical. It has been and will continue to be a great choice. I like the on-line format from such a fine academy. Aaron and his instructors.

Key difference are a combination of specific technical instruction with a superb depth of musicality. It’s a rare combination in someone so talented and personable.

I can truly recommend Aaron Plisan’s coaching to anyone. What impressed me from the very beginning is his incredible expertise – he brings over a decade of experience and is an active pianist himself. Every time I hear him play, I think: that’s exactly the level I want to reach.

The coaching is very well structured and works perfectly for both complete beginners and advanced players.

What I especially love is that while Aaron specializes in classical music, he also easily incorporates modern styles like pop – perfect if you want to stay versatile.

At first, I was a bit skeptical about whether online coaching would really work – but I was honestly surprised in the best way possible.

Through live calls, personal feedback on videos I send in, and quick, precise answers to my questions, I always feel well supported.

There is an opportunity to share in a community of students; we record our progress with pieces and receive feedback.
I particularly like the all encompassing and rich teaching approach: from repertoire, to technique, to mindset. We talk about history of music, concerts, live performances. Aaron and Mario are available for anything we need, any time. It has been a great experience for me. Extremely encouraging. The academy and fellow students feel like a family. They carry you when the music and practice get difficult. And the video system works very well! Wholeheartedly recommend it.

This academy is incredibly unique and there has been no other previous examples like this before. You build a direct friendliy relationship with two young great pianisits and are priviledged to exchange the detailed technique and affection on piano music also with other mentees. Aaron's specific techincal advices hit the points and his continuous support will help you to grow like a valuble plant also in your mind and heart so that you yourself will feel this will be bloom very soon and stay that way in the long run. My repertorie has been enriched within 6 months and the piano technique has been drastically improved. I have been playing the piano for quite a long time but have never experienced this kind of structured and caring teaching method before.

Very professionell Coaching with two experienced concert pianists who immediately see where you struggle and what you should do to improve. I have discovered that online coaching can be very efficient. It is a real advantage that you can play on your own instrument. You are part of a Community and get to know other mentees who actually have the same stage fright as me.

After my first 80h of Piano practice as a Beginner i started with the Pilsan Academy in August 2025. At the moment i practiced over 200h in the way Aaron teached me and the result is insane.

Of course it needs talent and much of work, otherwise it won't work, but the advices from Aaron and the other Piano coaches are so worthful. i am very happy to be a mentee and learning from the best, so i decided to take 1:1 session in addition to the "regular masterclass". looking forward to every session, which are recorded so you can rewatch.

Hi everyone! I’m from Hong Kong, and I’ve been learning at the online Pilsan Academy with Aaron and Mario since last July.
I just want to say how thankful I am for my piano teachers. With their guidance, I’ve really improved my technique and started to feel the true joy of playing music. From the Chinese song Silver Clouds Chasing the Moon to Beethoven’s Sonata Pathétique, I’ve been learning this piece for only three months and am already making good progress on the piece I’ve always dreamed of playing. Every lesson has been fun, inspiring, and full of learning. I feel so lucky to have such amazing teachers who have made my piano journey so meaningful.

The Academy is well structured in the learning modules and the website is stable; I haven’t experienced a single problem with it. In the live sessions, the mentors recognize the various issues with a very diverse group of mentees and react flexibly and with sensitivity, patience and encouragement. When talking to a mentee, their explanations are formulated in a way that others at all levels who are watching can also profit. The Academy has a community feeling. Aaron Pilsan’s own musicality is a fitting model and I value the opportunity to learn from him. His comments, criticisms and suggestions are focused and concentrated so that is worthwhile to review the videorecorded sessions, sometimes more than once. He has an open ear for issues the mentees are facing and addresses these directly. Both mentors usually respond quickly to questions and are helpful with problems. A couple of the modules could use updating however (such as when they refer to the Academy’s Facebook page, which no longer exists) - things like this can throw a user who is not terribly used to various computer and online systems off track. Also, some of the technical explanations in the modules are delivered very fast for a non digital native. These are only minor complaints however.

Making my first full year of piano this year, March 2026, on a regular weekly commitment! Why it matters? It is simply like any activities where your body and mindset are changing, thankfully, thus making you realize what you accomplish! It is unreal to ask for school to raise children and that is why music is a responsibility not an option. Hard workout and push long term limits is what I was trained to do in Pilsan Academy! My therapies, all together for reducation from brain hemorrhage tomporal lobe, was naturally interelated because personality damage and verbal fluidity need to replace words for a time, I guess 🎹🧡 is at least a good motivation to keep focus on your goals!

I am an amateur pianist and have been a member of the Pilsan Academy since February 2025 – I’m absolutely delighted. Aaron Pilsan is very friendly and patient. His feedback is extremely helpful to me because, on the one hand, he clearly identifies my technical issues and insecurities, and on the other, he offers very useful and practical tips in just a few words.

I particularly appreciate the extensive and clearly organised range of explanatory videos and the many different online courses. For my (mostly smaller) public performances, the tips I receive in the Mindset Sessions are especially helpful.
I noticed this particularly in November 2025 at my last concert (a charity concert in aid of an oncology support association in Frankfurt). For the first time, I wasn’t as nervous as I’d been at previous performances, and I was able to handle mistakes with confidence, so that most of the audience didn’t notice them; even the violinist with whom I played a Schubert sonatina didn’t notice my two mistakes.
Facit: I have benefited immensely from Aaron Pilsan’s Piano Mastery System, and I recommend that anyone wishing to develop their piano playing should contact Aaron Pilsan to find out whether the programme is suitable for them.

The personal contact to the Mentors is a good and permanent one and of great help to learn and increase Piano playing and getting better in technique, interpretation, everything around the beloved Instrument . All questions are answered. In a deeply founded way. Comments are always respectful and helpful. The modules of technique, strategy, mindset etc are so helpful to develop the own Piano playing. Masterclass and lifecalls give more than sufficient time to present a piece and discuss it. Mindset session helps against stage freight. The Community is a nice and friendly one. There is much more to tell, but find it out for yourself- have to work on my Beethoven sonata🎼🎹❤️

This was a complete bait and switch. The “lessons’ are a joke. Total waste of time. Don’t get scammed!

The services were not as described beforehand and the supporting material was deliberately withheld for 2 weeks making it impossible to form an objective judgement and withdraw quickly. The lessons were supposed to be masterclasses but were not at all. Participants were allowed to lurk until their time to play, hidden from everyone else. The playing time per person was too short to be beneficial and the teaching comments were in general not useful.
