What an absolute joke ……
What an absolute joke this new update… it doesn’t work. No warning about update going live on Friday 14th the app just packed in… had to call my hospital to learn that there was an update.
I am appalled that nobody at Abbott is either responding or issuing a statement about the problems with Libre 2 at the moment. I was trying to get through to them, on hold for over 1 hour 30 min only to be cut off??!!
How can you support NHS with this shocking product and services?
I didn’t want to that guy who jumped…
I didn’t want to that guy who jumped straight onto here & slated the company but the App has been down for over 48 hours & no sign of a fix, no communication, no deadline set. Wouldn’t imagine it would be too good if the NHS contract was pulled or someone came to serious harm due to the inefficiency of this company.
Scam Artists
When you get the LibreLink, you think "Great, my lifes easier."
What you get in reality is a stress magnet. The company makes MILLIONS every day by getting people to buy new sensors, which fall off if you slightly scrape them or blow on them. The app, breaks without warning or any customer interactions, leaving customers clueless as to whether to buy a new sensor or wait for an answer. The company charges £60 for a new sensor, so they make a fortune from broken sensors being replaced. When it comes to the NHS this company has used this as an easy way to scam the British tax payer out of millions, as shown by how the app broke for UK users only over the weekend, giving them a 'white screen' when they attempt to use the app. Leaving thousand of customers without news on when they will be able to check their sugar levels but in the process making the company millions in replaced sensors.
This company needs to be investigated by someone because there is no way this sort of behaviour from a provider of a 'life saving' service, should be allowed for the millions of potential users who are paying millions to get nothing.
APP stopped working and when I go on…
APP stopped working and when I go on the app store it is not available. On the phone to customer care no one answers have found more information on Trustpilot than for their website. As I have no warning signals of hypos this has left me in a very venerable position.
Awful !!
Awful !!! Almost irresponsible behaviour. No Ap, No readings - dangerous and no customer service.
Amazing
Have two type 1 daughters both been using libres for years each one has been fantastic and if any issues customer service are always helpful and very informative. Always polite and help anyway they can. Thank you for making handle type 1 so much easier Abbott. We appreciate you
No available customer support
While I am relieved to read that some are experiencing the same issue (app stopped working) and it's not an individual issue, I am equally appalled that nobody at Abbott is either responding or issuing a statement about the problems with Libre 2 at the moment. This is my second day trying to get hold of Abbott, I've been in the queue for 1.5 hours today ...
EDIT: managed to get through.
Abbott recognises the issue and they are working on it, but Customer Service could not give an ETA for a fix.
If you manage to get through, they will process an order for you to receive a Glucose Reader device to go with your sensors as a temporary measure...
App stopped working today…
Tested my blood sugar with freestyle libre 2 app at 6.45am. Had breakfast 15 minutes later , tried to check blood again and app wouldn’t open. Have phoned Abbott many times throughout day and couldn’t get through to customer service. App seems to be removed from Apple App Store.
Not happy and no idea when app will be available again.
Irrisponsible company
This company today switched off the monitoring app without warning leaving customers in danger of coma or death. Absolutely disgusting service.
Customer service is horrible
Customer service is horrible. The guy's speech wasn't inaudible and very time consuming. It's customer service support not tech support.
ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE
ZÉRO CUSTOMER SERVICE. They should be PAYING us, because all they do is collect and sell our private information, and read from a book to « solve » technical issues. Here’s how to fix most problems, « Reboot » there I’ve saved you a call to this data collection site.
Have been using Libre 2 for about 5…
Have been using Libre 2 for about 5 months now. Absolute joke! They are not compatible with iPhone or Android updates. They are 5 updates behind with the iPhone and in order to find this out you have to real look on their website which is also a complete joke. So now I have to pack around the reader to check my blood sugar, which is never even close to my test strips I also carry around because Libre 2 is UNRELIABLE. Customer Service is HORRIBLE you cannot understand anyone you talk to. I have had 5 sensors replaced so far. This is our lives at stake, so Abbott needs to get it together or stop selling this failed product. Kaiser Permanente of Washington knows that the App will not work so they just made a new rule up and that they will not let patients return the failed products. Kaiser and Abbott should all experience what all of us Diabetics are going through right now. I am thinking of switching to Dex Comm.
Abbott has sabotaged our widgets
Libre linkup is updated by abbott to sabotage use of widget from third party apps on android phones and watches. customer service is also s**t as they dont reply. Terrible company as they dont make own widget solution for android phones, watches and now also sabotage use of other apps.

Libre 2 Customer Service
June 6, 2023. Third time calling Abbott Libre Customer Service due to sensors not working correctly. I have the Libre 2 less than 90 day. Their customer service is a total mess, difficult to understand the agent. This is very frustrating. Does anyone have a number in the USA that can be used to alleviate the communications issues?
Libre 3 is awful
Use the libre 3. 1 out of every 3 is relatively accurate. The rest are usually 20 to 40 points off. At least customer service will replace the devices but what a horrible waste of time. Why can't I just submit a claim for replacement through the app and without having to spend all this time on the phone with someone who does not speak English as a primary language. Too bad dexcom is so much more expensive.
Was excited to get this product but the…
Was excited to get this product but the first senors last 2 days then I bumped it. The second last 5 day even though I didn't bump it at all.:(
If I Could give zero stars I would
If I Could give zero stars I would. It keeps going in a loop, I need to pay an invoice but they haven't sent it, then they reply that they are waiting for remittance, then I say the invoice is needed, then they say they don't understand my question. By email, on top of 3 phone calls in the last 2 days that didn't resolve the issue. And in 6 days I haven't been able to place the order which is urgent
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. Representative could barely speak English, let alone spell. I had to spell the word "box" several times. After setting up an "account" with her, she then proceeded to NOT be able to help with the problem (a faulty sensor) and refused to replace it. With no insurance, this cost is straight out of pocket. Not impressed.
