Ordered the Chile dress in a small on…
Ordered the Chile dress in a small on 4/16 for my daughters prom on 5/05. Received it pretty timely, great! As mentioned in a previous post, no information on how to return or exchange merchandise. Emailed company, received a response 24-48hrs later on how to return, great! As a flight attendant on the road, I promptly returned the dress upon returning home on 4/23 and sent an email stating FedEx return info, photo attached, seeking an exchange for a different dress and willing to pay the extra $80 for new dress and asking to bill the same card. I spent $60 returning the $215 dress.
Two days later, realizing my account hasn’t credited, I decided to go about the procedures of buying the second dress because time was getting away, and would wait for the credit on the initial dress returned. I received an email saying I wore/damaged/stained the dress and they would not credit my account and also asked me to PayPal additional funds ($20) to send it back to me. What in the hell? BUYER BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!
She tried this dress on and it completely did not fit her upper body as she’s very small. I hung it up behind her door until I could return it and this response is how they treat paying customers. Their return policy is for their benefit and ultimate gain. I emailed them trying to seek help and explained to them my daughters prom was upcoming and in no way was this dress worn! She spent two weeks looking for a dress on their website for this type of treatment. They were rude(Kim) and unwilling to help after receiving my money as they had the nerve to request for me to pay THEM again to send it back to me. I have NO MERCHANDISE. Who does this?
I feel some kind of way as I did not and maybe should have inspected this dress after receiving the package. What confirmation do I have that this stain wasn’t already there??? The photo showing the said “stain” doesn’t show location and I’m not sure if this could have been mishandled on their behalf, and I’m being accused of it. I’m unable to return or exchange and am being denied any possible refund. This dress was sent back with integrity and honesty, and sales tags intact. As a consumer, I was appalled. Horrible buying experience. Horrible return policy, horrible point of contact, horrible sense of direction for returning merchandise— not until I emailed them did I obtain instruction on what to do or how to even EXCHANGE the item.. and no telephone number of any sort to communicate. Unacceptable!
Back at square one now scrambling to find a dress seven days before her prom. I am mortified and I will make sure I alert others of this experience in every which way I can!!!
