Item out of stock - Really?
A few days after placing the order, I received an email stating that the item ordered is out of stock and whether I would accept a substitute. If the item was out of stock, the order should not have been accepted inthe first place.
Edit: Based on a satisfactory response from the Company, the rating is amended to 4-stars.

I'm very sorry we could not get you the item you wanted. I do understand that this can be very frustrating.
There are too many products (hundreds of thousands of items) for us ,or anybody else, to hold stock of any but the most common remedies. We are therefore reliant on what the lab tell us is available.
Unfortunately, sometimes, the first we know of an item being out of stock is when the order bounces. This will be the same with any supplier of Boiron remedies. They simply do not offer a real time availability system that we (or anyone else) can query.
Secondly, I have looked up your order. Your order came in on Wednesday 6th May, and we notified you it was out of stock on Thursday 7th May, as soon as we knew it was out of stock, not "a few days later".
I'm sorry you feel we offer a one star service, but please understand that we honestly do try to do our best with the information we have.

I tested 11 online sites to determine which I would be using to make my large orders of refill remedies I was short on supply, as well as Covid remedies I determined after a long search via the materia medica. I needed some shipped to me, others out of state. ABC and Washington came out on top and I was able to fill all of my orders. Washington's site was challenging but I spoke to them frequently about fulfilling my ABC orders in which I received service above and beyond. The ABC site was problematic in the confusion over lists of 3 distributors, which left me unsure what to select. I mistakenly selected one that turned all of my pill vials into Boiron pellets which is impossible for me to use due to arthritis. The site also spontaenously deleted duplicate orders, when I needed the duplicates. Advice is to make the order process user friendly for older folks, also provide a phone number! Other than that due to the exceptional service at Washington I am very satisfied.
