Thank you for helping me solve..

I recently had an issue with my company van Ford Transit and was fortunate enough to find Aberdeen Auto Electrical to help me diagnose and solve the problem. The team there was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, taking the time to explain to me what was going on and providing me with some great suggestions for how to address the issue.

The level of customer service at Aberdeen Auto Electrical was fantastic. They were able to quickly diagnose the problem with my van and provide me with a range of options for how to fix it, ultimately helping me find the most cost-effective solution.

I was incredibly impressed with the professionalism and expertise of the team at Aberdeen Auto Electrical, and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of vehicle electrical services. Thank you so much to the Aberdeen Auto Electrical for your help and support!

My car recently had a defect on the…

My car recently had a defect on the gearbox ECU (i.e. mechatronic unit), and the RAC advised me to tow it to Aberdeen Auto Electrical (AAE) for repair because they are electrical specialists for vehicles, and it was not far from the incident.
AAE tested my vehicle in the car park with the bonnet hook open while it was raining. They didn't even bother moving my car into the workshop. I understood that electricity and water do not mix well, and I was worried that water would enter the engine compartment. When I asked, they claimed it was fine.
After some diagnostics, AAE was unable to repair my car as I was informed AAE did not have the capability to handle mechatronic, and I was charged £138 (one hour of diagnostic plus £50 for usage of the diagnostic equipment). AAE further urged that the car be removed from its car park as soon as possible. It was very frustrating, and I had to call for a tow truck the next morning to move the car.
While I feel that charging for diagnostic time is acceptable, but I question why they should also charge for the use of diagnostic equipment. Don't they realise they'll need the diagnostics equipment to run the diagnostics? Furthermore, testing the car in the rain especially on electrics related issues demonstrates that they do not respect the clients' property.

VERY VERY EXPENSIVE GARAGE FOR REPAIRS

Climate of my 12 years old Car after the replacement of the noise heater fan ( without any other issue before the replacement ) did not work between first(slowest) and top ( fastest) fan position. Local garage took it to Aberdeenautoelectrical for further diagnostics. I was informed that it will cost 4hours of labours (£312) and one new climate panel (484.58) . In total £796.58. I refused to give them the go ahead and I was charged £180 for the diagnostics. Three days later my local garage replaced the panel (internet authentic manufacturer part for £14 and used under one year warranty) and ONE hour of labours( £83) and total £97.
That is staggering £700 cheaper and 3hours of labours less! So if you want to throw money in the drain use these "professionals" who prey on lack of knowledge. Unfortunately Aberdeen has many like them who charge whatever they like and destroy the reputation of the garages which based on win win solutions for them and their customers. The choice is yours.

Ford Kuga Problems Sorted, Your First Choice For Any Car Electrical Issues

After spending well over £1000 and waiting for a month for my Ford Kuga being repaired in the Arnold Clark Ford Aberdeen garage with no progress made, I found Aberdeen AutoElectrical guys. After such a costly lesson in Arnold Clark garage (see my review of them) I was so pleased with this place. I left my car with them for a week when I went on a holiday and it was ready for collection after my return. Two guys there are very professional, helpful and honest. They charged only a fraction of what I paid already in Arnold Clark that never fixed my car problem (the DPF system faults on my diesel engine, misfires on one cylinder and engine malfunction warning lights). I couldn't recomend them enough. If you have any problem with your car electrics, go to them first and you'll be glad you did (tel. 01224 877297).
