Ableworld are the largest mobility retailer in the country and believe this is because we genuinely care about our customer’s well-being. We employ professional, caring and knowledgeable staff to work in our stores, and provide quality mobility aids at value for money prices.
We pride ourselves on being an ethical trader who will not pressure sell items and if we feel a product should have an assessment we will not sell these online, as we want to ensure our customers that they are getting the right product for their needs, not just the most expensive mobility aid.
Our stores stock all types of mobility aids, including Mobility Scooters, Walkers, Powerchairs, Bathing Aids and Stairlifts. You can be assured that in all of our stores we provide the same caring approach to looking after our customers, and the same range of quality mobility aids.

We just visited your Newark store and purchased my first mobility scooter. I was dealt with by a young lady by the name of Sharna. It is not often these days that you get the level of customer service shown by Sharna. She showed me how to dismantle and build the scooter then watched me do it to make sure I did it correctly. I was worried about it fitting into my car boot. No problem outside, dismantle and fitted into my car boot. PERFECT! Well done. Outstanding customer service. I will never go anyhwhere else.

Arrived to have a look at the latest carbon fibre folding scooter. Very friendly welcome and chat with Pete who demonstrated the scooter and showed me how to fold and unfold etc. I then had a whiz around the shop and outside. So delighted with it I bought it. Entire experience of Ableworld in Newark was first class. They carry a huge range of scooters and other mobility aids. Prices are very competitive and having them so close to home gives me peace of mind if I need help in the future.

Had new wheels and solid tyres fitted, as well as new batteries, plus top speed check.Promised for return on Friday, got it back Thursday morning, well chuffed. Not only that, but washed and waxed as well; looks like new (it's now 5 years old!) My compliments to Rob H who was the engineer in question. Really nice guy,

We were helped today by Nick to buy a wheelchair. He listened to my husband’s specific need and demonstrated several models so we could select the right one. We never felt pushed to buy but were grateful for his knowledge and how he allowed us to try the chair outside as well as in. He finally adjusted the chair for the best fit. Thanks Nick!

The excellent 5 star service we both received from Nick. He was patient, caring, very knowledgeable and a very nice man. He explained the difference between the mobility scooters and helped us choose the right one for my mum while also making sure it wasn’t to difficult for me to dismantle or too heavy for me to lift into the car. It was all in all a very pleasant experience and I’m happy to say we purchased a scooter that fit both myself and my mum’s requirements. Thank you Nick. 🙂

My husband needed a mobility scooter. As well as his physical limitations he also has mild dementia. Sharna in Newark was so patient with him even when he crashed the scooter in the shop because he forgot to take his finger off the tiller. She was so gentle patient and kind.

Went into Ableworld at Newark to explore the variety of travel wheelchairs. A lovely and very helpful lady ( Shana) was very knowledgable and was able to demonstrate a variety that would be suitable to our need. I was able to try it out just outside the shop as well as fit it into the boot of my car. What I enjoyed about the experience is that she was not pushy but listened to our needs. I know in the future we are going to have to rely on other aids and will definitely return back to this shop. Very happy and came away with a wheelchair that suits our needs.

Myself and my sisters called into Ableworld yesterday to look at recliner chairs for my dad who we had just moved to a home nearby. Nick was very helpful and informative and we weren’t rushed or persuaded to buy but we did anyway because we were very impressed with the service.
Also earlier in the day I called into purchase a wheelchair to transport my dad from one home to another. The girl who served me (don’t know her name) was also very helpful regarding this transaction.
I would highly recommend visiting the Newark on a Trent store if you need help with mobility issues.

I visited the Newark store with my wife on the 5th October. WE were met by Sharna who was one of the most polite and helpful people I have met in a long time.
She understood my wife's needs and did not try and pressure us to buy anything. We purchase a four wheel Adjustable Rollator walker which is just what she needed
So many thanks
Ivan

Price was our initial reason to visit Ableworld Newark because no other scooter retailer could match it. So I knew what I wanted when my husband & I visited. However, the warm and welcoming service given to us by Sharna & Nick was just right. Although I knew vaguely how to use the Alumalite scooter, Nick gave thorough instructions on the process. I was allowed to ride it, take it down and reassemble it under supervision with alternatives offered if they seemed tricky for me. Both were great, informative giving full details of the insurance and warranty and pointing the way forward in that the store is our first point of access should I need any support. Visit to Ableworld Newark was brilliant!
