Daniel and his team worked tirelessly to make sure every detail of our nan’s service was perfect and met her requests.

Our whole family are extremely grateful to the care provided and feel that Abney Funeral Services cared for our Nan as if she was one of their own.

Abney funeral services were not our first choice but were highly recommended by a friend. When we went to see them we did not know what to expect but the 6 family members who attended the first meeting all agreed that my mum's and the rest of the family's needs would be looked after. They were patient and kind and listened to what my mum had wanted and instead of forcing us to take a funeral package with elements that did not suit us they tailored what we as a family wanted at a very reasonable price. They took their time and we were not rushed. They worked late into the night so we could have things done on time. We are truly grateful for the care we received, it made an unfamiliar and stressful situation into a calming and relaxing event knowing that we could trust them to do what they said they would. My mum looked beautiful and at peace. Many thanks to the hardworking staff.

I was so glad that we found Abney Funeral Service after approaching several funeral homes. We immediately fell in love with Daniel's approach. He took his time to explain all our options to us.

He was professional, understanding, caring and so supportive. Losing Mum was the most difficult moment of our lives, but Abney Funeral made us feel at ease with counselling throughout, sometimes he would go out of his way to offer us lunch while we are having a meeting which would never happen at any Funeral Home.

We were allowed to view Mum whenever we wanted. We were respectful and supportive of our beliefs and they helped us to create a service that was tailor-made and unique to our Mum.

Our order of service/ tribute booklet for the day was beautifully designed by Abi who was patient and creative. She helped us create something that our family will be able to keep forever. It took us almost the whole day as we had so much to say.

On the day of the burial we were provided with limos and buses from Home to Church, Church to Cemetery, Cemetery to Reception. It rained throughout the day and we didn't have to worry about getting wet as umbrellas were provided to everyone and they would not stop asking if we were ok.

The entire family expressed our sincere gratitude and appreciation to your kindness, extraordinary assistance in coordinating our mum's Funeral.

I would highly recommend their service, theres definitely nothing like that anywhere.

Daniel and Abi run the most amazing funeral service with fantastic resources. They are helpful, friendly, comforting and very professional. They think of even the tiniest details and use initiative to deliver on your vision and give your loved one the best send off possible. They consistently go above and beyond to help and advise during one of the most difficult times of your life. I could not recommend them enough. It will be the best 'last' decision you have ever made, to allow them to look after your loved one for the last time.

Abney Funeral Services managed our son's funeral and we and all our mourners were highly impressed by their professionalism.

They provided excellent communication channels, produced a professional Order of Service, provided the funeral limos and buses from church to cemetery to reception and guidance at every step of the process.

We give them the highest level of recommendation possible. We did not know that level of professionalism existed today.

Spectacular service. The team managed our funeral with dignity, respect and professionalism throughout. They respected our cultural rites whilst ensuring everything ran to time. Exceptional customer care is hard to come by in my opinion and so I was totally refreshed whilst observing the operations of Abney this week. They didn’t miss a thing; I noticed in particular how their eyes were everywhere so that they could be instantly on hand to ensure as smooth a day could be had whilst my dear friend’s service and burial took place. The genuine compassion, sensitivity and understanding of the whole team on duty on this day shone out in the main .... the lead person was definitely on point and I could see how important it was for him that he ensured that his team got it right for the family and the congregation. I never recommend lightly and in this instance I would be delighted to put this company as the top choice for when you need to make this type of arrangement.

The words 'thank you' just doesn't seem to be enough to describe how appreciative we are of the service you provided for my aunts funeral- your service came from a place of pure love and kindness, and it was truly phenomenal. From the way you looked after my aunt whilst she was in your care, even down to providing umbrellas when it started to rain on the day of her funeral, to allowing us to sit in the cars whilst we waited to get into the reception before you left, ensuring we were warm was so heartwarming. Amongst the sorrow during this difficult time, your flawless support didn't go unnoticed, it was first class. Abney Funeral Services are a true blessing.

From my first encounter with Abney to the end of the funeral, I was made to feel comfortable and reassured that I was in good hands. They took the time to guide me through the whole process, explaining everything to me in detail and taking into consideration my feelings and wishes during this difficult time. The staff were very helpful, professional and compassionate. On the day, they were on time, respectful and patient. I could not have asked for better service and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.

Sadly you can only give 5 stars! 10 star rating or more needed. Abney Funeral Services provided us with the care and support through a most difficult time with our Mother/Grandmother’s passing.

Dan and Abi went out of our way to provide a service that exceeded all of our expectations so much so we gained comfort knowing our mother/grandmother was in the care of such thoughtful people. No detail was overlooked and small things we didn’t give a thought to were raised and given such diligent attention.

After mum had passed, we had to look at a couple of funeral directors before choosing one to deal with the funeral. Abney were local to us so we decided we give them a try. From the moment we walk though the door. They were very professional, so understanding and even though we went to another funeral directors to see what we could compare, there was no comparison. We were kept inform on all the stages and if there was anything that we had forgotten they were there to help. As you can imagine this was such a difficult time for us, we visited a couple of funeral services but felt Abney services approach was so warm and welcoming and they really cared not only for us but also for our mother who had passed away.
