Very useful tool
Very useful tool, pretty easy to use, but I preferred the old calendar view with more separated days (I think it was updated sometime last year)

Hard to locate dates
I'm using it for several month now but still got trouble navigating through dates. The calendar looks good, but not that user friendly to me.

I don't really understand the navigation on top (with left/right arrows and some kind of timeline). It's not really clear, and you don't really see the dates there.

Good and well structured tool - with one exception
All in all, absence is a very good and well structured tool. But I find the timeline in the company calendar very confusing and it's hard to navigate by it.

Tool that just does it's job – easy to check colleagues absence, easy to request/document vacation, easy to calculate remaining vacation days, email with approver, custom country calendars/holidays (when working in international team).
Moving between timeline is not so user friendly: it is easy to misunderstand date or month edges – so I always need to recheck selected dates in holidays popup.
Comments for conferences and public holidays could be made visible (by configuration), so other colleagues could see where others are going.
