I bought a very lovely grey cardigan and all the buttons came out the second time i wear it..they were very loosely fixed. This for me is a sign of very little care for a product you sell at a rather high price.

Scam alert!My experience has turned into an unacceptable legal issue. I initiated an exchange for a sweater.The item was returned to Absolut Cashmere's warehouse on November 27, 2025, and tracking confirms receipt.
Despite receiving the merchandise, Absolut Cashmere refuses to process the exchange or issue a refund (value of store credit) as of today, December 15, 2025.
Their reason is an internal procedural error.
This failure means Absolut Cashmere is illegally retaining my property without compensation, violating basic consumer rights. After their lack of response, I have sent a formal notice and am preparing a complaint to the French consumer protection authority (DGCCRF).
Never buying anything from them again.
Update (Dec 22, 2025): The brand's reply below is a further attempt to ignore EU Law. I have proceeded with a formal complaint to the ECC (European Consumer Centre).
The saga with Absolut Cashmere has reached a new low. After fighting to have my €295 credit reactivated (which they tried to let "expire" while they held my returned item), the replacement Soeli sweater finally arrived. It was only after I formally involved the French authorities (DGCCRF) and cited the Code de la consommation that they suddenly "found" my €295 and reactivated the credit. It is completely different from the previous Soeli model I received—different texture/quality and finish. This brand has zero quality control and sends whatever they have on hand regardless of the customer's order.
A message to Absolut Cashmere regarding your "rules":
Do not attempt to tell me that I cannot return an item because it has been "worn or washed."
According to European Union Law (Directive (EU) 2019/771):
Legal Guarantee of Conformity: I have a two-year guarantee on any item I purchase. If a product fails, shrinks, or loses its quality after being washed according to the care label, it is a "lack of conformity."
Internal "company rules" do not override European Consumer Law. Claiming that a wash voids a guarantee for a faulty product is a deceptive trade practice.
Final Verdict:
Absolut Cashmere is a brand that relies on customers not knowing their legal rights. They send the wrong colors, provide inconsistent quality, and try to "expire" your credits to steal your money. I have escalated this to the European Consumer Centre (ECC) and wait for their reaction.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
Avoid this brand at all costs. They count on you not knowing your legal rights.

Really disappointing that import duties are not flagged at the point of purchase (bought on a mobile).
This gift is now well out of budget as a result.

Quality perfect, I ordered brushed cashmere balaclava. It’s nice. BUT! A big BUT is packaging. If you sell cashmere goods, you should not send it wraped in thin paper and send it across half of Europe in cartoon box.

The mateial was nice but the cut was quite strange and unflattering. Fine, I wouldn't give a bad review based on that alone, but unfortunately the returns procedure was riddled with dark patterns, making the returns process much harder than need be. For example, the returns page needed minutes to load and then they tried to convince me to take a voucher instead of a refund, etc. I probably won't order from them again.

My original order got stuck in your warehouse as 1 item was unavailable. This was almost 1 month after placing the order. I wonder what would have happened if I hadn’t chased the order. Once the order arrived, I wanted to return an item. Your returns portal advised this should cost €2. It ended up costing me almost 6 times that cost as your returns portal didn’t work and when I queried this with your customer services department, I was advised that I would have to cover the return postal costs myself. To be clear this was a return within France. Great products but poor customer service.

I’ve just read your response and wanted to clarify that you are incorrect. The parcel was delivered to a French address and was returned within France, not from the UK.

Absolute Cashmere, online store, situated in France. Two cashmere sweaters ordered for me by my daughter.
Made a return order afterwards as instructed, because the size ordered didn’t fit nicely.
To our dissapointment:( the return order never made it to the return adres of the online store.
Contacted both the postal service and the online store without results who is responsable for the package lost.
It is a scary business if your purchase is that easily lost and none of the parties is responsable but youselves.
Regret that Absolute Cahmere doesn’t strongly advice to customers on their websites to insure the returnorder. As the chances are high that the returnorder will get lost. As cashmere purchases are likely to be expensive it is easily to be snatched during the logistic route. If not insured!!
And we are convinced we will not be the first ones experiencing this. Absolutely Cashmere must have been aware this could happen. Don’t order at this website, you’ll only lose your money!!

Very Responsive client relationship team members; I per mistake received the incorrect size - got a free return & a free shipment for the correct size exchange order. Love the brand!!
First of all they don't reply to your mails when there is a problem going on. There afters er vice is inexistant. I have a hole in one of their pullover and ask for a threat in order to repair it, I said I would pay for it as well as for the shipping costs : no answers. I also wanted to buy a jumper now it is sale. The jumper was 130 euro in sale + 20% réduction as birthday present. When I clicked to pay the price had suddenly turned into 190 euro. I wrote them an email with screens hots of both prices and asked them an explanation : no reaction. Conclusion don't buy there
I received a gift and needed to return. They said they gave the money back but The buyer hasn’t received any amount. I asked several times for the details (which credit card, number of transaction etc.) but they never answered.
Awful experience considering the prices for cashmere.

f you are in the UK do not buy from this brand as they charge you additional taxes, even though on their website they state, "Prices indicated on the website are in Euros, inclusive of all taxes". I bought a jumper for 124 Euros and just got a duties bill from Fedex for £59! When I raised it with Absolut Cashmere customer services said that was their policy! Real lack of transparency!
