Acima Leasing

I’m not very satisfied with Acima. I was charged fees on every payment, and even when I paid off my full balance, I was still charged additional taxes. The pricing and fees weren’t as clear as I expected, and it ended up costing more than I anticipated. Overall, the experience felt misleading and frustrating

What They Don’t Tell You

What is not divulged when you sign a contract is that if you do not pay your item off within 90 days, you will triple to quadruple in interest fees. I ultimately paid almost $7800 for an item that was less than $4000. I would strongly not recommend it.

Wouldn’t recommend

Wouldn’t recommend, only ok for last minute, they don’t tell you they automatically put you on autopay. If you keep your card locked you have to pay more even if you pay it on time! Cx service was annoying and seemed uneducated on their job and if I can help it I will not use it again!

ACIMA! Morales ZERO! all they care is about money, and they target most of the time one community, poor people! one day I asked the manager why the lies and hiding fees? the answer was:" this is how we make our money!" with arrogance .

Limited access when wanting to discuss account issues. Process not clear, at least it wasn't to me. Using the chat was not successful. The attendant I finally got to talk with by phone was very courteous and helpful in resolving my concern. I appreciate him listening and making explanations that were understandable and helpful. I've forgotten his name but I THANK him.

Regarding payments

Regarding payments, what was told to me by the store rep, versus what was taken from my bank account, do not correspond. Store employees were not helpful.

High Rates & Low Service

The interest rate and the fee was too much. Also, I called one time to ask for a payment extension which I understand that you don’t issue, but the representative I had was rude. While I own the fact that I made an error with my bank balance, I was in dire straits due to extenuating circumstances.

They will steal your money if you dont…

They will steal your money if you dont pay before 90 days non of the payments will be apply and will charge you the full amount. They are a rip off they will charge 200% interest on the loan STAY AWAY FEOM THEM.

They ask to call back after a review but is to waste your time as they will not adjust any balance just to read a scrip back. If any retainer offers to use ACIMA STAY AWAY put it on a credit card at 25% INTEREST as they will charge 200% interest. ACIMA IS A SCAM. I wish there were negative score

Paid Off My Item Earlier Than Expect

Acima made it extremely easy to receive my item, pay the payments online, and pay the amount off 3 moths ealier. After 9 moths I own my item. The customer service representative I spoke to was polite and knowledge! I enjoyed my experience with this merchant, I would recommend them to anyone.

Easy for frauds to get a loan without proof of ID

I used these people once for furniture and it worked out fine. Paid off no issues. Now my identity get stolen Acima allowed my information to get used twice within a month. The first time they caught it and it was a Big Lots purchase of over $2k. That was in March 2026. Now since frauds didn’t get away the first time they did it again with Apple products. What I do not understand is how Acima allowed it to happen twice? They don’t have any way to prevent fraud from happening twice in a row? They didn’t flag my name or try to protect me after the first time. Acima will allow anyone to get a loan without proof of identity. Now I’m having to go make police reports every time Acima allow people to use my name without identification. They didn’t flag the name or anything and call to check if it was fraudulent or not. I’ll never use the people ever again. They’re careless and lack accountability.

Not so happy

This was my first time using acima and my last one , I don’t like how there payment plans work and also when you make your payment they charge you taxes,why? You are just making your payment for something you already paying taxes but oh well ,thank you ..
