I have traveled as a group leader for almost 20 years with ACIS, and their service is beyond exceptional. We have had all manner of issues on trips that are no one's fault - lost passports, sick students, chaperones who need doctors, delayed flights, missed connections, a global pandemic - and each and every time, ACIS not only had a solution, but came up with a way to make the trip more enjoyable. On one of our last trips, we missed a connecting flight in Boston (took off late from Rome because of plane issues) and ended up being stranded for full 24 hours in Boston. Not only did ACIS put our entire group up in a top notch hotel, they arranged food for several meals, a water taxi to take us into the city, and sent a tour guide to escort my students to the St. Patrick's Day parade that just happened to be the one day we were "stuck" in Boston. My students returned to school telling everyone how they went to Boston and Italy for spring break. There is no one I'd trust more than ACIS with my students.

While a bit more expensive than other travel companies, ACIS is exceptional in the quality of service and tours that they offer. As an AP World History and AP European History teacher, I have traveled with both Passports and EF, both of which were far from enjoyable experiences, before trying ACIS, and the difference in quality was readily apparent. Our tour manager, Luiza, works part-time for the UN, so she was an incredibly fascinating guide for myself and my students through Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic. She was also always on top of things, and was able and willing to accommodate our special requests, especially when they enhanced the experience of the trip for my students. Every tour guide we had was not only knowledgeable and passionate about their cities, but typically worked in the field either as a professional or as a graduate student, which provide an extra layer of authenticity and scholarship. The tour flawlessly balanced excursions with free time so students got to spend additional time exploring the culture of the cities that we were visiting. On that note, we ate every night at authentic local restaurants, not chains as I had done with the other tour companies. It was by far the best educational trip that I have every been on, and I have already booked trips for 2026 (Italy) and am working on putting together a trip to Turkey in 2027. I would highly encourage every teacher to go with ACIS - it will be an enriching and enlightening experience for your students, allowing them to get up close and personal with a lot of the things that you likely discuss in your courses.

ACIS continues to provide excellent service year in and year out. The quality of our experience, from the obvious to the finer details, makes for an amazing learning adventure for my students. I've traveled with ACIS across Europe and will continue to do so. Whether you know exactly what you want to do or you need assistance in creating a trip, ACIS will be with you every step of the way.

I love planning with this company. They are up front about costs and give you what you pay for. Other companies seem a little less expensive, but once they nickel and dime you to death for add-ons that should be included, And, ACIS has customer service that can't be beaten!

There are many options to choose from with the ability to adjust certain parts to fit your school's needs. Likewise, the field rep I am working with is awesome--every question I have he gets back to me right away and I have felt supported and confident every step of the way.

I traveled with a group of high school students to Costa Rica and ACIS made it an incredibly smooth process from start to finish. It was my first time taking students on an educational trip abroad and they helped me every step of the way. As a French teacher, I’ve had the incredible privilege of traveling with my students on three summer tours with ACIS, and each one has been nothing short of life-changing—for them and for me. Every detail is handled with care: the itineraries are rich with culture and authentic experiences, the tour managers are passionate and knowledgeable, and the accommodations and meals are consistently excellent (centrally-located hotels are the best!). But what stands out most is how ACIS makes language and culture come alive for my students. Watching them order their first croissant in French, navigate the Métro, or stand in awe beneath the stained glass at Notre Dame is something I’ll never forget.
Personally, leading these tours has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my teaching career. We have travelled with ACIS twice. On both trips we had outstanding tour managers and guides. Our students loved the experience and look forward to travelling with them again in the near future.

I have taken students on trips with ACIS since 2015 and it has been a wonderful experience each time. My contact has always been helpful as I prepare for the trip, but the real advantage is when you arrive. The tour managers are phenomenal. They really try and get to know your students and will use their vast knowledge to cater the trip for your group. I have had one less than great meal in the 8 trips I have taken and I have never had a bad hotel.

Our Art class went to Japan in 2024 Spring break and it was incredible. We didn't have to manage any booking or traveling plans, our tour guide helped keep us on schedule and was so sweet and kind- focusing on more art related places. Our students had an incredible time and still talk about the trip today. We are planning another spring break trip for next year. Thanks ACIS!

It has been a joy to work with Brita. She has helped me set up the best tour for my students at a reasonable price. In this economy, it is easy to see travel as something to cut from the budget, but she has made it possible for students to travel and learn.
