even if its the only one in world, still dont take it

the most horrible, pathetic, absolutely horrendous customer service. you can call customer care 100000 times, they wont solve anything. you can write thousands of emails, bots will be answering it. and at the end, you would have wasted your time, money and energy. even if its the only service provider in world, still dont opt for it

Worst customer service

One of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. They take minimum of 7 to 8 hours to resolve issues with wifi no matter how simple is the issue. Customer care is even worst, they don’t even care what customers are experiencing and don’t even bother even after telling them that we’re working from home and without wifi will not be possible.

Act Fibernet a Nightmare and blood Sucker ISP

This company is one of the mostly worst and pathetic company in the isp line.

Escalation Team:- No response on time and update wrong comments in their notes which create too much conflict later.

Story:-
This is issue when I disconnected the connection in the year of 2024 because I was moving out of station.I told them before one month in advance but I was informing that they initially told that ok we will update there. But after 1 month when I connection was not removed then I called them again. They this time mentioned that we don't take any request in advance. Then what they updated a month before I dont understand that. I then escalated to ceo desk this issue and misguiding. Then got the call and the person was apologizing for this confusion and also due to this delay and wrong information I got the huge bill too.
The person who called me was keeping on saying to take the connection back or take the connection later. I mentioned that because of this behaviour I will not take anymore. Then that person actually should apologize again and update same in the ticket but he simply disconnected the call on my face and also didn't update the notes in his system. Later due to this not updating I got the bill again in the next month. Then I escalated again and now this time another person called me and explained the whole story. Finally the connection got disconnected and that 2nd person told that bill will be cleared. But that didn't happened. I got the pendin bill mail again with mentioning that late fees will be charged.

Like this drama keep on going for 5 months and due bill was not cleared. Everytime telling the same story and same issue same whole old issue I got exhausted and frustrated that how these guys are handleding there work. Like this keep on escalating for 6months finally after 6months of battle the due wrong bill got cleared.
This is one side drama. Now the second part. After few months I thought to take the reconnection. I called to customer care and they raised the ticket for this. Then I got the call from the reconnection team and they send the enginer. Connection done and I got the bill next month. Now the surprise I got that next month came with old wrong due bill of before disconnecting. Then to clear this unwanted bill I again escalated. I again got the call and same drama started. Back to back calls and still not able to clear the fraud and scam bill. Like this months were passing and connection was going on and I was getting next month bill with old bill too. Due to this I again decided to remove the connection because of frustration. Now to remove it again same drama clearing the old bill and this new bill of reconnection time.

God dam they made me to commit sucide. Full mental torture. Full blood sucker. Full harrassment. The mail id to which i used to escalate was to ceo desk but they were sameless guys even after escalating nothing got changed.

I finally decided to visit their hyderabad office which is at banjarahills. I went there and guess what had happened there. No one was ready to welcome a customer. One lady came out and I mentioned that I want to talk with escalation desk team but that lady was so much rude that she don't know how to talk also. Then she said in high tone like "go to hell" I don' care be waiting here. No one was ready to come outside and talk then finally someone came from billing team. I have never ever saw these type of unprofessional guys that they don't even have respect to give to a customer a respect also. That guys came out shouting "kaun hai ray" mean who is that not understand and came here and shouting.

Such a cheap guys and professional guys has been hired and working there.

Very very very worst internet service and very poor customer support. so requesting you guys please don't choose ACT Fibernet
internet service. Facing lots of technical issue and frequently network is getting disconnected ..I had raised Internet not working issue there is no update of 2 days and still it’s not resolved after called more than 20 times to the customer service team but no use also during the customer call with an agent and explaining the issue the call is getting disconnected deliberately by agent, I have never seen a very very worst customer service like this.

ACT is thief and Non etichal company

Been a ACT customer since lockdown. Last 4 months faced constant connection issues. They took a look at junction box, changed my router nothing resolved it. I recently paid for the 6 month plan and now that I want to disconnect they saying they will not give refund as it's their terms and conditions 😂. Seriously a very non etichal company.
1. Refrain from doing 6 mth or 12 mth recharge as there is NO refund if you disconnect
2. Call center agent will promise you the world don't fall for it. Remember they will not disclose their T&C it's your responsibility to read it.
3. Agents don't care if you have connection or not their job is only to raise ticket. Which a BOT can do as well.
4. Avoid taking this connection you will regret it as their consumer base has increased and they cannot service everyone

ACT is a scam

For the sales they contact everyday but when it comes to service no one is responding

My Internet often disconnects when I try to raise a complaint no one responds.
Customer service team is terrible and service team doesn't follow up the complaint.

Dont buys ACT broadband

I had taken a connection of act and had paid for 4 months. but after 1 month due to shifting of my room they said the act is not available in new location so we will refund within 5th September. But its 11th September now and they think i will forget. I will keep calling them daily from today. Even the internet goes down every day. I dont recomened

ACT Fibernet is the most irresponsible…

ACT Fibernet is the most irresponsible ISP I’ve dealt with.

I raised a complaint on 6th June 2025 (Ticket No: 101754961351) to return the 4K HD box. They finally collected it on 3rd July 2025. As per their policy, refund should be processed within 7 working days.
But even after 40+ days, I got my refund only on 14th July 2025 — after calling them 6 times, mailing, and even posting on social media.

No compensation, no courtesy, no accountability.
If customers delay payment, ACT adds penalties — but when they delay refunds, they just ignore you.
They held my money all these days — if it were in a bank, I'd have earned interest.
Instead, I got zero in return and only mental frustration.

ACT Fibernet = fast internet, but ZERO customer care, ZERO empathy.
Highly irresponsible service.

Avoid ACT Fibernet at all costs.

ACT Fibernet — Complaint Regarding Service Disconnection and Refund Denial

I recently subscribed to ACT Fibernet at Chennai Pattinam Apartments, Ammapettai, with high expectations based on my past experiences with ACT. I paid ₹3000 in advance for a 3-month plan, but unfortunately, the service has not met my needs.

In the past two weeks, we've spent more time raising tickets with ACT than actually doing our work. I faced repeated connectivity issues—two significant downtimes each day, each lasting several hours. Despite opening multiple support tickets and trying to resolve the issue, the service remained unreliable. This made it difficult, if not impossible, to work from home, which was the primary reason for subscribing in the first place.

If a customer decides to leave within two weeks, there must be a solid reason, and in my case, it's the ongoing downtime and unreliable service. I reached out for a solution, but I was informed by Prasanna, who claims to be the area head for the region, that no refund could be provided due to company policy. While I understand policies, I believe my situation should be considered as an exception—this is clearly a case where the service is not meeting expectations. The ongoing downtimes fall under the "non-feasibility" clause mentioned in the policy.

I also asked for an escalation to a higher authority, but was told Prasanna was the last point of contact, leaving me with no further options. Given the circumstances, I decided to discontinue the service and move to another provider.

I’m sharing this feedback because, as a customer, I expected better. It’s disappointing to experience such a lack of support after being a loyal ACT customer. If ACT is able to review this case and offer a solution, it would be greatly appreciated.

STOP SPAMMING!!

STOP SPAMMING!!! Stopped using ACT in Oct-22 as the services were REALLY BAD and immediately after doing so, started getting harassed on mobile with automated robot calls asking me to come back. STOP HARASSING with your spamming. For would-be customers, BEFORE OPTING FOR A CONECTION WITH THEM THINK TWICE, THRICE AND MANY MORE TIMES if you really want to share your mobile number, because if you do so, be prepared to get harassed by them after you opt to quit realizing their pathetic services!

Worst service and very poor customer…

Worst service and very poor customer support .. lots of technical issue lots of miscommunication to the customer by the customer service .. for a Internet issue there is no update of 6days and still it’s not resolved after called 17 times to the customer service team no use .. a agent dint mention customers issue , a agent forgot to raise call back , multiple call disconnection but call for not closed , agent puts the call on hold after 10min call is getting disconnected , I have never seen a worst customer service like this .

Act fiber is not the fastest broadband

I took a basic plan for 40Mbps, the speed is very pathetic, as it's even slow than my mobile data using 4G that gives 20Mbps only. Also the router what they give in 40Mbps doesn't support 5Ghz bandwidth. The router isn't capable enough to provide service for 400sft house. I had taken this connection Just less than 10 days and when I asked for a cancellation, they are denying to do so. The are making us to use only high speed plans for their profit.

Best Reliable and Stable ISP

I have been using their service for more than 5 years now and have been satisfied with their service. Their network is stable and maintenance in case of repairs is timely and communicated properly with users. The rates are also competitive with other service providers.
