I recently attended an online book club being held by ActionCOACH Solihull after hearing so much positive feedback. At first I was hesitant as reading books has never been my strength (my mind tends to wander at a thousand miles an hour!).

The session itself was filled with useful insights and knowledge — even the authors of the book were able to attend.

I employed the services of Action Coach 3 years ago. I can see now looking back what a strange relationship it was. The advice is simplistic at best. They gather personal information on you via DISC analysis and then in my experience this information was used against me so that my business partner was able to manipulate me alongside the business 'coach'. They worked together to gaslight me along with another work colleague.
None of the 'coaches' I came across had any formal training, they also had no code of ethics. Also whatever you do - don't write anything in those letters they give you at the 1/4 meetings. They are supposed to remain sealed and are posted to you before the next meeting. Mine was opened. I never wrote another.
I really can't think of a single good word to say. It's just a franchise business for those 'coaches' that buy-in. I will never forget some of their advice which was to sign up to some social media classes on Udemy - brilliant 5 star advice at 5 star prices.

I enjoyed the session a lot, thank you. The non 'specifically general' info was most useful but I guess you have to offer a broad brush approach to appeal to all.

Getting lost within all the LinkedIn functionality is a pain. A hypelinked crib sheet would be a great bonus I suggest.
