Very disappointing experience after six…

Very disappointing experience after six months of product development

I started working with Activewear Bali in April 2026 to develop a premium activewear collection consisting of leggings, sports bras, and jackets.

Unfortunately, what was supposed to be an exciting stage in launching my brand became six months of delays, production issues, and unsuccessful attempts to achieve the agreed specifications.

Throughout the process, I experienced:

* Repeated delays in fabric printing and sample development.
* Fabric quality-control issues that required reprinting.
* A shipment delivery issue that caused further delays.
* Printing limitations and technical problems that were identified well into the development process.
* Significant time spent communicating, following up, and trying to find workable solutions.

I had selected the fabrics and developed my collection based on the manufacturing options discussed with their team.

After approximately six months, I was informed that their supplier could not produce the required print and that Activewear Bali had decided not to continue with my collection.

I respect a manufacturer’s decision to decline a project that falls outside its capabilities. However, I believe those limitations should have been properly assessed much earlier, before accepting the project and proceeding through months of development.

The result has been a considerable loss of time, disruption to my business plans, and additional expenses.

As of 2 November 2026, I have not received the requested refund or a confirmed resolution, despite following up and requesting a response by 29 October.

This review reflects my personal experience. I hope Activewear Bali will address the outstanding refund professionally.

For other emerging activewear brands considering this manufacturer, I would strongly recommend confirming fabric compatibility, printing capabilities, production feasibility, and refund terms in writing before committing to development.
