While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

I installed it and while I don't have any ad blockers it kept stating that I need to disable my ad blocker.
The extension didn't have a stop option, unlike what's shown on the main website.

Hello Nadine,

You can pause the extension with a click on the "pause" button on the top of the extension. This function is definitely included, we will look into making it more obvious though.

For ads to work you do need to whitelist Slice in ad blockers, however, there is no need to disable them on over pages. This also includes services like DNS servers or Brave Shield, if you are using Brave as your browser.

While I cannot tell 100% what the issue was on your side, you are welcome to reach out to us on Discord: https://discord.com/invite/addslice, Twitter: @add_slice or Email: support@addslice.com and we'd be more than happy to assist you in setting up your extension.
