Absolutely shocking service
I was quoted on 100 pens i purchased them then the invoice was more than the original quote
Then I paid straight away my discount wasn't applied
I was going to purchase more goods but this experience has put me off
So avoid adler as there out to get more money from you if you don't check

I had previously used Adler for business products & was happy with the service but recently the service was really poor.
They quoted me a price for 300 pens & sent design to confirm , I noticed the phone number was incorrect so I asked them to change it.
They then sent a revised design & this time it was missing my company logo I didn’t accept or conform order & next minute I’m invoiced & the pens arrived without the logo !
They then wanted me to send them back & I said they had to come & collect them as I’m busy & don’t have spare time to post parcels I didn’t order.
Adler then said they would send someone to pick them up on Friday & someone turned today (Thursday) luckily someone was in to give the nice chap the parcel back.
Hopefully the comedy of errors will now stop & they’ll cancel the invoice as they said.

Absolutely hopeless to deal with - they were good in the past but certainly not in more recent times. Chose a pen and asked for print area dimension. Provided two artwork options and advised which was the preferred option if their production team thought it would print okay. Kept receiving proofs to check online using either different artwork, old artwork or artwork they had messed around with. Sent mockup and correct artwork multiple times and they still couldn't get it right. Drove me nuts and in the end the process took so long there was little time left to get them done for an event.

I have used the company a few times over the years and never had a problem, that is until around the end of 2021. I was sent another order of pens which I did not order and the box has remained unopened in my office for over a year, I have told them countless times that these were not ordered yet they persisted in calling and threatening action, I have now finally been sent a returns label (after 1 year) My customers liked the previous pens I gave out on promotion however I will NEVER use this company again.

Ordered personalised pens for my business. I ordered 50 pens. As I was handing some out to a customer they were the ones who noticed it, when I got home I checked the box and 36 of them don’t have my business name on them ( have someone else’s) and because I didn’t realise within their 6 months guarantee they wouldn’t do nothing about it even though it was their fault. There was no actual fault with the pens I was just really disappointed that they wouldn’t accept responsibility. I found their customer service really bad and I will never buy from this is the Micky mouse company again.

Paid invoice on 5/01/2023 now getting unpaid invoice reminders from Finance Department 3 so far

I have been buying pens and other bits from Adler for some years and never had a problem. However on the last occasion I purchased 7 jackets for over £400 which I had to approve the artwork by email. The jackets arrived some time later but the artwork was wrong. I called them and was answered by a call centre operative. I explained the problem and at the same time I said that I would consider keeping them for a substantial discount. After more phone calls I was offered the paltry sum of £25 to cover the faulty art design cost. This went on for 3 months with Adler threatening action for non payment. After another call I told them to come and collect them and cancel the order. I will not be buying from this company again.

I saw an advert/pop up on facebook for Alder Pens
it got my attention and eventually i plucked up the courage to order 50 pend with my Scalexparty logo printed on them.
i paid and within a week a small box arrived
i excitedly opened the box to find the pens i hadnt been expecting for at least another 2 weeks
Although a little on the small size the logo stands out and is well printed. the ones i have tried so far all worked first time.
when the slot racing events get going again these pens will be very handy as an addition to handing out business cards.
loved the follow up from Andy Gow who was very polite and friendly on the phone. he also sent me some free samples which i may take up in the future if business picks up

I've given 1 star because you cannot give minus 5!

I was called by someone from Adler about pens. I already had some so said no. He went on and on. I gave in after he made me a good offer. They would come in two lots and I would be billed in November 2021 and May 2022 with a fair discount.

I was billed immediately and at full price, within a couple of weeks they sent overdue invoices. I kept ringing them to sort it out but the person I needed to speak to was never there and never rang back. I emailed many times too but no reply. They ended up sending me to a debt collector way before I was even supposed to be invoiced. I had received the May invoice by November and again threats of debt collector without returning my calls or replying to my emails.

I was talked into a deluxe diary. It was cheap tat that you could pick up for 50p, they charged me £8! They kept sending me samples in the post all absolute cheap rubbish. I was embarrassed for them.

So in summary, they lie about price they will charge way over quote....by a mile and they lie about when you pay the invoices! They will not correspond with you after they have ripped you off!!! But they will send you to a debt collector quickly!

Another quality purchase from Adler (James). Ordered 500 of their new custom air fresheners. Took delivery within 5 days of ordering and handed out to all our club members as a small Christmas gift. The feedback has been great, the print is very sharp, and the new car scent smell is not to overpowering either. Looking forward to another purchase very soon.

Made, what I assume, was a small order of 50 pens. Excellent customer service shown through a phone call from the manufacturer explaining how my original choices could be modified for a much better overall result. They arrived within stated time and are excellent quality. I’ll be back!

Just ordered some pens again, good quality products at a good price. Matthew Short was very helpful and understanding to our needs. The ordering process was very straight forward. Thanks again.

Always happy with the products and the rep for Adler James Hope always checks in every few months to see how we got on with previous orders and if we are interested in anything else, always friendly and informative.

Placed an order in January 2021 for delivery in November. Received an email in November saying delivery would be December. In December received first emails saying delivery would be next week. Then another email saying delivery before Christmas and now received an email saying delivery January 2022.

James has always been very informative and helpful and very knowledgeable on all products available and supplied from Adler

I've ordered through Adler with James Hope many times. He's always friendly, helpful and straightforward to deal with and the quality of the product is excellent.
