Just tried to buy a book with vipps

Just tried to buy a book with vipps, site is a confusing mess. Round in circles thinking this cannot correct. Wanted bankid, did not send email recovery email, klarna everwhere with terms even after selecting vipps, I managed to log in without realising as feedback was non-existing. Abandoned, I can wait an few extra days for my book. Even considered giving feedback, started, then thought they must know this already..

Hi, thank you for your review.

We are currently in the process of modernizing our logistics, which has led to some orders being delayed. It has taken longer than we expected to get operations running normally at the new facility, and we apologize that your order has been delayed.

Awful customer service

It started with Posten delivering the package to the wrong pickup point. I reached out to Posten, and they promised to redirect the package to the right one. Then they managed to mess up again and sent it back to Adlibris. Posten apologized for the mistakes, and suggested that Adlibris send the package again (and they could open a complaint case and get compensated). I reached out to Adlibris as suggested, but the customer service representative just put the blame on me. He closed the chat prematurely when it was clear that the matter was not resolved, and later after the chat was reopened, he said things like 'im gonna close this chat when its clearly not benn an mista in the option you choosen'. His language was not easily comprehensible, but his rationale seems to be that if you choose økonomi levering, it would be your fault if the package is delivered to the wrong pickup point (in the wrong district). And again, I have it in black and white that Posten admitted that the package was delivered to the wrong place (first mistake) and then sent back to Adlibris (second mistake). Posten apologized for these in several occasions.
My expectation is that the package be resent to me without additional fees (and Adlibris may contact Posten to create a complaint case and get compensated, as suggested). That way I do not have to order from scratch, and wait for a long time for the goods to be sent from another country. Instead, I was met with an unprofessional and unempathetic customer service representative who thinks that he is better qualified to judge if a package was delivered to the right pickup point than Posten. Moreover, when I requested that the case be escalated to a manager/ supervisor, the customer service at Adlibris stopped replying all together.
All in all, good luck to you who is considering ordering from Adlibris-- if absolutely everything goes well, it is not a bad choice. Their selection and price point are good. But if you will ever need to be in touch with their customer service, you should be prepared to be met with poor communication, bad attitude, and a lack of empathy.

So I could put 0 stars

So I could put 0 stars. Rather, such companies would go bankrupt, because they are like some Grinches, nothing more. Avoid such online stores. They already delivered the parcel to me from the UK within 2 working days, but here Adlibris Norge they can't delivering in Norway inself in time, need wait very long.Shame

Absolutely the worst experience and…

Absolutely the worst experience and customer service. I ordered a book on 16 May, for my husband's birthday on 12 June). I was supposed to receive it by 1 June but it wasn't delivered until today (15 June). I emailed and messaged customer service several times and only received one response which basically said "sorry" but offered no resolution.

When I realized I wasn't going to get the package on time for my husband's birthday, I ordered the same book from Amazon.de and it was delivered in 2 days and it cost pretty much the same with expedited shipping.

Great customer service!

Great customer service! I had ordered the wrong book with my order and had cancelled and re ordered. Customer service was very prompt in helping me and refunded the second orders shipping so I wasnt charged. Delivery was smooth and contactless which is great.

Second time ordering and will be doing so again and again.

Great selection of books in English too so thanks for having such a wide range of suppliers.

FRAUD -- avoid at all costs

They fraudulently sell glued reprints as originals. I recently received two such ``books'', which were apparently printed by the same print-on-demand service. When the company was confronted it did not apologize and required photographs (what do they need pictures for? THEY are selling these products; don't they know what they're selling; could it be that they don't care?). And of course they showed no interest in changing their erroneous product descriptions. Others will be defrauded in exactly the same way.

Moreover, every communication with these people is a chore. They do not understand what normal people simply understand and make you do extra work. If you refer to a recently bought book by author, they assume you meant another book by a different author. So you have to do extra work and give them ISBNs. It's like talking to a robot.

In the end, after countless messages back and forth, they are refusing to pay for the return of items that were not as described, and refusing to admit that they have done anything wrong. Nor is it clear that I can get a refund if I return at my own expense.

If you can save just a little by choosing this company, don't do it. If something goes wrong, you'll pay in time many times what you saved in money, and, if it doesn't, you are still doing humanity a disservice by keeping these crooks in business.
