I would highly recommend this company. I had an old water softener installed by Harvey's that wasn't working properly and was leaking and their customer service was non-existent. I asked Mark to quote me for a new softener. He was very professional and knowledgeable and was not at all pushy and he provided me with a very competitive quote for a Kinetico Premier compact softener. On installation he identified several problems with the original installation and corrected these and tidied up the plumbing. I am very pleased with my new softener and would definitely recommend using AWS.

We chose AWS because the advice we were given was unbiased, and came with no hard sell. When Mark came to fit our water softener, the work was carried out tidily and efficiently. When we had a couple of questions after the fitting, Mark came back the same day.

Mark arrived on time. He was polite and helpful. The installation of my softener was a slightly unusual one in a cellar, a replacement for one that had been flooded. He made the necessary adaptations to ensure the new one would not flood and would drain properly. His work was thorough and professional. Thanks.

Mark Smith replied to my text message for assistance, on a Saturday evening. My then water softener was overflowing and contained a considerable amount of 'gunge'. We discussed the problem and it became clear that the water softener need replacing. Mark provided me with a very competitive quote, which I accepted. The new water softener was installed the following Wednesday.

I would highly recommend Mark & this company. He installed our first water softener many years ago & he has installed a replacement recently. Very efficient, quick & reliable. Explains everything very clearly with many good tips. Good tidy workmanship & a good price.

Mark (Advanced Water Softeners) was simply excellent from start to finish, clean, tidy, punctual and offered so much advice.
We are extremely happy with our new Kinetico Softener and have already recommended it to a number of our friends.

I have nothing negative to say of this company or system. I was worried we would not be able to have the system as our original kitchen is now my office and that is where the water pipe into the house is housed. Mark arrived at the time he said in order to give his quote. He explained that the unit would have to sit in my office and that he would need to drill a small hole in the wall in order to put a small overflow pipe in. The quote was the standard price for this unit (Premier compact), no extra costs for any extra work needed. On the day of installation, Mark arrived at 9:30 and was finished by just after 11:30. The water was turned off for a very short period of time. He even replaced our 1960's stop cock with a shiny new one at no extra cost (I think it's the stop cock.... the tap). He was reliable and professional. He even took time to make friends with our dog before starting work. The system itself is doing exactly what I have been dreaming of. After a week of showers, the shower door has no signs of any soap scum. It is gleaming and all I have done is rinsed it down with water from the shower after each use. My taps are gleaming. One last thing.....if you are a lady on her own, have no worries about having Mark in your home. He is a gentleman. Thank you !!

From the free quotation to installation everything was easy and hassle free. Mark was friendly and helpful, his recommendation of a local supplier of salt was fantastic as they were cheaper than some other well known sources.

I recently moved to Hampshire, a very hard water area, and inherited a Kinetico system which needed servicing. Mark was thorough and helpful in explaining the system. I followed his advice re. salt blocks and the difference in the water quality is enormous. A decent cup of tea amongst the many benefits. I would highly recommend both Mark and AWS.
