My daughter took part in the group sessions and mock exams. We found these sessions valuable in giving my daughter confidence in learning what she needed to know and to normalise the exam conditions.
Pleased to say she passed and got into NGHS all thanks to Stuart and my daughters hard work. Definitely recommend Stuart at Advantage Tutoring.

My son took part in the group sessions and then changed to 121. Stuart was great with him and helped him with his 11+ tuition. He got on well with my son and made learning fun and informative.

My son has been to group sessions and 1-2-1’s with Stuart in order to prepare for the secondary school entrance exam. He has found the sessions really helpful and now feels more than prepared for his SAT’s in the summer to as a consequence of the 11 plus sessions he has attended.
Stuart has always been very approachable and accommodating and has greatly helped us through this experience as it was not a process that we were familiar with. Would definitely recommend!

I would highly recommend Advantage Tutoring. Our daughter attended 1-2-1 classes and mock exams to prepare for the 11 Plus exam. The tutor was excellent and quickly assessed areas to concentrate on, particularly non-verbal reasoning as this is not covered in the school curriculum. Feedback was provided after every session which was invaluable in understanding our child’s ability in each subject and which areas to focus on. Likewise, following every mock exam, the same comprehensive feedback was provided. The friendly approach put our daughter, and us as parents, at ease. Any queries were responded to quickly. Most important advice I would offer to parents is to listen to the tutor and their feedback. If a child is not capable, the tutor will provide his honest opinion and you should respect the professional’s advice to avoid unnecessary stress on your child and yourselves. Stuart is a fantastic tutor with a wealth of experience and most importantly our daughter is very patient. Our daughter has attended group, 1-2-1 and mock sessions, all of which have been very helpful. The feedback provided is personal and specific, which is just what we were after. The only reason 4 stars and not 5 is because there’s no online system in place which there are with the likes of the national tutor provision services. It would be convenient and informative to log into a website or app to view mock results, subjects covered etc. Conversely the personal face to face debriefs and ability to text a question and get a quick and helpful response is with its weight in gold.
