Before Advertise Purple, we were managing our own affiliate marketing efforts, participating in affiliate networks such as Commission Junction and PepperJam with limited results. We also had a direct affiliate program that was a burden to manage on our own.

Since most of our affiliate were already on the networks, Advertise Purple assisted us on transitioning those affiliate offers to the network program so that we could eliminate the cost and burden of managing it on our own.

Affiliate marketing is a valuable service to companies with a large digital presence. Instead of paying for media in advance or on a CPM (Cost Per Thousand Impressions), affiliate marketing allows for merchants to only pay out for advertising when someone makes a purchase online or completes a specified conversion (form fill, email list, brochure download, etc). Very few marketing channels allow for such a measurable and cost-efficient form of advertising.

With that said, I highly recommend Advertise Purple for your affiliate marketing. You will not be disappointed.

This company operates with the sort of callous negligence and willful disregard for clients that would not be believed by most unless they have had the displeasure of experiencing it firsthand, as I have.

In 4 1/2 months, this company was not able to effect one iota of positive change for my affiliate account. For example, year-over-year, revenue and number of orders was actually down in November, a feat that is especially confoundingly horrendous when one considers the fact that, overall, our sales were up significantly YOY for November. That's just shockingly bad.

In 4 1/2 months, not once did they reach out to me to keep me informed of any progress, or to provide me with an update of what was actually accomplished -- or even attempted to be accomplished. The worst case was when I requested an update multiple times, starting on December 4th, 2016. I never received a response beyond a "we'll get back to you by the end of the day" until January 19th, 2017, at which point we scheduled a phone call. That's just shockingly bad.

Contractually, they were bound to perform various tasks daily. They were not once able to produce a shred of evidence demonstrating that they were upholding their contractual obligations. In our initial discussions, they sang their own praises regarding their transparency, and lauded their ability to demonstrate what actions would be taken throughout the process. They NEVER ONCE did so. To date, based on what I've seen, I'm unable to determine whether more than an hour in total was ever spent on my account. There are NO results, and there was NO transparency. That's beyond shockingly bad.

They laughed at me when I indicated that I would be thrilled if they were able to bring about one sale per day through our affiliate channel, explicitly stating that that would be a failure in their eyes. After 4 1/2 months, sales from the affiliate channel continue to come in at a rate of less than 1 for every 3 days. That's beyond incompetent.

In summary, they took my money, managed to produce exactly $0 in sales, and are now refusing to accept any responsibility whatsoever for this fact.

Shame on you, Advertise Purple!

If it's not been made abundantly clear -- to everyone reading this, STAY AWAY!!!

We were referred to this agency by an employee in our company (not in the marketing department)...so we were a bit apprehensive. After taking the time to explain how they work, it sounded better and better. Fast forward 8 months - they have been managing our affiliate programs and doing an excellent job. In addition to increasing sales, they worked with us on optimizing our sale pages to increase conversions rates. This was really simple and actually made a large difference.

They worked with us on a bit of SEO, affiliate work and conversion rate optimization for our video technology sites. We started with a small budget, but after 2 months of good results, we opened it up. We learned about AP because management was involved in investment in our company...bottom line is they were easy to work with and showed us decent return.
