The most crooked business and unaffordable contrary to the name. They(Affordable Dumpster) charged me $650 when I talked to them before delivering the dumpster itself for 30 yard dumpster. I had prepaid for 4 weeks of dumpster rental. I told them to haul away on end of 3rd week it self. It was hauled away after 4 days I called them to haul away. Then after 2 days they charged my credit card $690.80 saying the weight is above 3000 pounds. They didn't return me one week of rent I paid extra too. This is a shaddy business and the most unaffordable dumpster rental. Don't fall prey to their business tactics.

They were 4 days late picking up the dumpster. They claimed we were 2000 pounds over the limit. It was furniture and plastic kids toys. There was no proof of the actual weight, just the charge. This booking service is a total scam. Do not use them and just go direct with a dumpster company.

Worst company I have ever dealt with.

Quick breakdown of what they did:

- I order a 15 yard
- they don't have it so they offer a 20 yard (not telling me that I will be charged an extra 100)
- then they keep the quoted tonnage for the smaller dumpster which I didn't receive (even though they charged me 100 extra for the larger dumpster which I didn't want, which should have bumped up the tonnage allowing for the extra room in the larger dumpster which you provided)
- wait a week, have it weighed and then charge me an extra $236 because I went over the tonnage specifiEd for the smaller dumpster which I didn’t receive
- call themselves affordable dumpster, meanwhile they have hidden charges and charge more per extra day than every company in our area by double (companies in our area charge $10, they charge $19)

predatory business practices and horribly unprofessional. orderign a fifteen yard dumpster that should have cost me 4-500 is now almost $1000. Do not use them!

They use a local company that does great, but they have hidden cost. I had no idea what the wight would be. I gave a description and they said the normal customer may go over about $20-$30. My total bill was double. So my bill was twice as high as the original quote. Do not use them.

The company representative that took my order did not follow through on or verbal agreement. I explained I needed to have it in the A.M. and of course he stated shouldn’t be an issue since I was giving 2 days notice. Of course when I called the morning of delivery at approximately 7:15 AM to confirm, I was told by a very rude “manager” they could deliver at any time since they do not guarantee time frames. When I explained what I was told, she immediately said we can deliver at any time, we don’t guarantee time frames. Realizing I had been lied to get my business, I told her I wanted to cancel the order. At that point she informed me I would be charged a 250.00 cancellation fee. At that point I knew I would have a fight on my hands, and was dealing with a very unprofessional person and company. I will pursue my complaint, and refunds of my remaining 250.00 through my CC company, as well as the CEO of the company, Gustavo Llerenas, not that I believe he will show and concern since I feel this is probably the way he runs his business.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! When you speak to them everything seems to be going well...then you realize they don't communicate with each other and aren't accommodating at all.

I ordered a 20 cubic foot and was told that there would be space in my driveway even with the narrow alley. They attempted to deliver and said that it wouldn't fit.

I called and spoke to someone asking what the status was and was told they would get back with me...never did.

Next day at 5:40am they delivered a dumpster...but it was a 10 cubic and not a 20...I get a text asking if I want to cancel the dumpster and I was going to get charged the attempted delivery fee of $250.

I spoke to them again and asked if they could waive the fee and I was delivered a dumpster before I could make a decision on anything...

They were "gracious" enough to knock off $50 charging $200. And I'm still getting charged for the 20 cubic and not the 10 cubic.

Do not waste your time with them.

Ordered a 40 yard dumpster on 3/25, didnt get it till 3/27 at almost midnight. Had to meet them in the pouring rain. Filled the dumpster on 3/28. Called for a removal on 3/29 Sunday closed. Left message so they could pick it up on Monday 3/30 To keep people from the neighborhood from throwing their stuff in it. They finally picked it up on 4/1 Wednesday after a bunch of people overloaded it with trash. Got charged $209.00 extra for the extra. Called them and they were like oh well. Nothing we can do. I will never use them again and I don't advise you to either. cost me $758.00.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This company is a complete scam. I was quoted $456 for a dumpster rental, but then they added a $200 “rush fee” — just to drop the dumpster off at 9 PM.
I was told I had a 3-day rental, yet they picked it up at 9 AM Wednesday morning, cutting my time short without notice. On top of that, customer service had no answers and seemed completely unaware of what was going on.
I ended up wasting $809 for poor service and broken promises. I will definitely be sticking with Tri-State Disposal from now on.

Absolutely the most dishonest company ever. Low upfront cost with thousands of unexpected cost on the back end. STAY AWAY!!!!

They charged over $200 for over charges. We did not even fill 1/2 of the dumpster. And the items were less lighter than average weight. So the business is designed to exceed the weight and the charge the customer for the overage.

Do not use this company. Im telling you they make up charges. They take your money up front and then leave the dumpster at your house. We had to call these people several times to get it picked up. A month later they charged my card another 100 bucks

They took my money, never showed and waited for me to reach out - I assume they were just hoping I didn’t notice a dumpster didn’t show up.

SCAM ALERT!!!!!
We paid $400 for a fifteen yard dumpster. We were cleaning out our parents garage. Stuff that was light. No furniture, no metal, no tables, no concrete. The driver complimented us on having it under the edge.
They are charging us over $193 more claiming we exceeded the weight limit.
This is a scam!!! If we exceeded it then everyone who rents from them would. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I will post everyday on multiple formats to make sure they don’t scam other people. They didn’t even tell me first. They pulled it from my account and my bank notified me.
I had to edit this post twice. The first charge showed $158 extra. Which is what I originally had on this post. Then I thought I was mistaken because I saw $193 after that. I just spoke to my bank. They said they tried to charge both $158 and $193.
If anyone is willing to go to court to stop this, we should gather the 93 people that had the same experience and go to court to stop this company from being in business.

This is a scam! Do not rent from this company. They take your money and never deliver a dumpster—and when you call to ask what time it’s coming, they say “oh, maybe tomorrow. We don’t have a dumpster for you today—despite your order in advance and your pay in full.” Buyer beware! They’ll take your money and run. Can’t believe I took a day off work for this project.

I wish I'd seen these reviews sooner. Like several people have mentioned, late pickup and overage charges. I was told that the weight of the 15 yard dumpster was 1000lbs over resulting in an additional $165 charge. Unfortunately for us, we have no way to verify what is being said. Being that my dumpster wasn't picked up for 5 days after it was scheduled, I'm pretty sure the rain soaked the boxes ins9de of the dumpster resulting in additional weight but 1000lbs is absurd. I would never recommend this company or use them again

They delivered a dumpster with rusted out holes on the bottom of it, give me a weight limit that there was no way I could know how much I put in there plus it had five hundred pounds of concrete crusted in the corner of it. They take your bank information and put it on file.So they can overcharge you for the weight when they come pick up the dumpster and drop it off at the landfill, it's a scam affordable dumpsters, is the worst company i've ever dealt with shame on them for even being in business.They have no right to have a phone number to make money they are crooks.

Dumpster arrived quickly but we could not get them to pick it up. We emailed several times and it wasn’t until the city cited us for the dumpster we hadn’t used in weeks that they finally came. The real kicker? They billed us for the whole time.

SCAM, do not use this company.
Ordered a dumpster from them for a garden clean up. It was mulch only, the rep specified organic material only. I paid over $600 for the dumpster and then a few weeks after it was off site, they charged my card on file $1200 for overage weight. Instead of taking organic material to an organic recycler (which is what we all do in landscaping) and paying $350 for a 20 yard, which was more than covered in my up front costs, they took it to the landfill. This way they get huge weight overages and apply it to the customer to make even more money.
I made the mistake of seeing the reviews for Affordable Dumpster Rentals (4 Star) and then calling Affordable Dumpster Rentals.COM (1.5 Star) (not the same company)
Looks like every review before me says the exact same thing.
Please don't make the same mistake I made. $1200 taken away from a small local company with a family.
This company will be out of business soon. But until then, please use a reputable company with clear prices and clear communication.

When working with the MN ADR agent, my order was placed for a 15 yd roll-off to be placed in our driveway. A friendly sales agent made sure that it would fit in the drive within her provided dimensions. On delivery date, I received an email notification that a delivery attempt was made but driver found street too narrow to drop roll off on our drive, and I was now being charged a "$325 inconvenience fee." At no time was I cautioned or any disclosures made about street dimensions. I cancelled my order due to their inability to deliver the contracted services. Numerous conversations with various levels of customer service did not result in this ridiculous, extortion-like inconvenience fee being waived due to their non-disclosure. Because they failed to address street dimensions and the fact that the driver would arbitrarily leave without delivery and the immediate imposition of the $325 fee, I find their practices very deceptive and not in alignment with their supposed good customer service ratings. I have disputed this charge with my bank and will report this transaction to BBB and other reviewing sites so potential customers can be made aware of their deceptive, exploitive, unjust enrichment-like, and poor business practices. Could not be more disappointed with a business!

Run as fast as you can from this company. They tried pitching affordable but far from the truth. I ordered a 30-yard dumpster for $500 and they told me it's rare people go overweight. I was hit with a additional $459.80 charge for an overweight fee. Go for a fixed rate company. How do I know it was the weight they said. Also they tried to bill me for an addition day even though there wasn't one. it came a day late from when they said it would be delivered. They were supposed to pick up from 1 to 3 days after I called them, but it sat in my driveway over 10 additional days blocking my driveway. During this period the snow storm came and added additional weight to the dumpster I'm sure. I believe enough said, if you want to be over charged use this company
