It’s been 13 weeks and I still haven’t got my results. Even if the 10 weeks is just an estimate, the turn around time is too long.

I was very disappointed in the results. This product was advertised as a total DNA product comparable to 23 and Me or Ancestry. I do not know what percentage African I am not to mention any other ethnicities I might have. I paid three times the money for three times less. I am requesting a refund.

The African Ancestry DNA test was my fourth venture to determine where my ancestors are from. The other three were nice, but very general when it came to Africa. Because of African Ancestry, I now know that my paternal DNA is a 100% match to the Tsogo, Ateke, and Kota people of Gabon. No more of that "Southern Bantu people" stuff that includes fifteen nations and probably thousands of miles. Thank you for opening doors of discovery.

I love ❤️ AA and my experience with them has been very positive. I have ordered two test kits, waiting on the paternal to be processed, and certificates for family members and a tee shirt. All items arrived promptly. I enjoy being a part of the AA community and reading the articles and the experiences of the other members.

African Ancestry is a very professional company. They communicate well at the beginning and middle of the process. I would suggest for them to broaden the timeline on receiving the results. Lack of update info in real time. I returned my swabs and they have not acknowledged whether they have received them or not. That would be easy enough to set up I am assuming.

I will shout from the mountain tops that AA is a life changer and every African American in the US that don't know where they come from in Africa need to take this test so we all can unite on one accord and pay homage to our Ancestors. We are still waiting for the test 2 weeks after the end date on the expected delivery time. They go to great lengths to tell you it’s an estimate time. Our whole process thus far (no results yet) has been over 3 months. Far too slow.

I find this information very valuable towards "cracking my wall". Now, I know what African culture to search for in the US.

I'm excited, but I ordered the second test and never received a confirmation, so I'm still waiting it's been two weeks on maternal. I was scared that for my father that I might not get a tribe attached, but I did WOW!!!!!!

It's great to know where your family is from.

I was disappointed with the returned information. Our family was expecting to know where our people are in the current day world and a little more about their culture and characteristics. We had planned to do a big reveal at our family reunion but there wasn't much to reveal. So sadly, I felt cheated and u satisfied. Anytime that we saw Gina reveal results to individuals she gave background information, etc. We were expecting the same.

Concearn about the long wait to get results without communication on progress during the wait.
