Extremely disappointing. Clothing looking nothing like advertised on website. Textile of very poor quality and completely see through - unlike the website pictures. No option for refund, only for online shop credit. £67 for nothing!!

I bought a sweater which never arrived home. I did send different emails to the company where they kept telling me that my payment would be refunded (dec 2021). Untill now, I didn't recieve anything back.

Website states that the Items are from Africa yet everything is shipped out of Asia somewhere. The sizes ran smaller than anticipated and I haven’t been able to return/exchange for almost 2 months. Poor quality clothes - lots of polyester.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!

1 star — bad is the lowest I can give, but I would have rated it 0 stars — terrible. I'm surprised Afrikanim are so intent on making me rate their product that they gave me two reminders, given how terrible their product is.
Of course, these reminders came weeks before my actual purchase arrived, so that could be a reason.

The product I received was so far away from anything advertised on their site that I at first did not realise what it was.

The fit was terrible. I don't mind Chinese sizes, but then it should be advertised as such, so I know to size up.

The material was cheap and plasticky and has not even seen a fibre of cotton, let alone 80%.

The product looks like it's something vaguely inspired by someone describing the ad. The people who made it have obviously never seen what's been advertised.

It's not even the full set. I ordered a top, pants and a robe, but the top never came.

I can never wear it.

This is a scam and I can't believe they tricked me into paying real money.

Shame on you.

Do not, do not buy. It is 7 weeks and my sweater is still in “fulfillment stage”. I’ve asked for my money back twice without acknowledgement. I consider it stolen money w/o any goods at this point. Zero stars.

The jumper I ordered arrived and was not even the same colour or material as the image online. It was a labelless cheap knock-off delivered from China.
This is a con and I’m really upset.

Haven’t received any Information regarding my order yet you are asking me for a review?! I would like contact immediately since my previous emails have gone unanswered.

I paid for it 11/26, got a purchase confirmation email shortly thereafter, and as of 12/15 still haven't received the product (or shipping confirmation or a tracking number) even though this is the 3rd email I've received asking me to review said product. I've sent an email to their customer service and have not yet heard back from them. If I don't hear from them by 12/26 I will count this as a scam and contact my credit card company to get my money back.

Order placed two months ago and still haven't received an email that it has been shipped.

I missing so many things from my order . I didn't even get an email.

The status of my order didn’t change until AFTER my product was delivered. So that had me on edge the whole time. Even after I emailed them. There are two obviously different styles posted on the Megan Boho Set that I ordered. I saw on their ig ad they said that all you gotta do is let them know which style you want and they’ll make it work. But no. I messaged them and they said it’s the same and can I tell them the difference. Maybe if y’all looked at the pictures you posted up you’d see. But really they just dgaf. 2 stars cause I got the other style. Which I’m about to return.

Shipping slow, but within what was promised, so acceptable.

The product on the other hand unacceptable. This was not a cheap product, but what I received looked nothing like on the pictures. Instead of it being beige, the shirt is a strongly saturated salmon-like color.
Alright, pictures not matching product is not an uncommon theme for online stores. But the quality of the shirt is also nowhere near what I expected compared to the price.

Okay, bad experience, just return it and get a refund, right?
Yeah, the store does not do refunds. How surprising considering the quality of their products.

All in all, as a customer I feel scammed of my money. There's unfortunately not anyway else to put it. I'm left with a useless and unsatisfying product that I can't get a refund for.
So a very deserved 1 star review for Afrikanim and I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone.

The clothing items are not quality despite paying quality prices. I spent $99 on a set that looked like it was worth $10. Buyer beware-the refund policy states you can only make a return (for store credit/exchange) if the company deems the item “faulty.” You are not permitted to return if you “change your mind.” The product I paid for was nothing like the way it was depicted on their website and now I can’t even return it. This company seems to be scamming consumers.

SCAM ALERT. THIS WEBSITE SELLS PRODUCTS MADE IN CHINA, VERY BAD QUALITY. THEY TRICK PEOPLE INTO THINKING THAT THE PRODUCTS HAVE AFRICAN STYLE, BUT ACTUALLY JUST SCAMMING.
THERE ARE TONS OF CHINESE WEBSITES SELLING CLOTHES AND STUFF LIKE THIS ONE NOW ON THE INTERNET. THEY ARE ALL CHINESE PRODUCTS WITH VERY VERY LOW QUALITY.
STAY AWAY AND DO NOT BUY.

The sweater was very different than in the picture. And no answer on my request to change size. I sent an e-mail the second day after recieving it.

Bad communication. Delivery date unknown.

My items took a very long time to get to me. When they arrived from China, they unfortunately look like they were made in China. Poor quality material. The jacket part of the set looks like a choir robe. Luckily the pants are cute but the other pieces aren’t wearable. They do a great job at marketing but the product is not cute as seen in pictures, especially at that price.
