I must admit I had higher expectations…
I must admit I had higher expectations for this game given the initial presentation. The game play is currently mundane. It would be on par with some free browser games I have played before. Nevertheless, I waded in. My initial easy victories afforded me some gold which I used to purchase gear for one of my heroes. The gold left my wallet, the gear is still AWOL. Undaunted, new games have growing pains right?, I dropped a few dollars of gAOG to pick up three identical gods. The idea here was to follow the technique presented in the intro video to merge the 3 into a higher powered god. Well, that doesn't work either.
* EDIT: It would appear that my initial contact with "Support" was a scammer in the telegram group. As such, support in the proper group is good. Simple labelling of in game items would alleviate some simple problems.*
The news from the developers suggests that more interesting gameplay and other features are on the horizon. I would hope they get the basic functions working without a hitch before dumping more complexity into the mix.
This could be a good game at some point but they are not there yet.
