Without a doubt, this is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Housekeeping was practically nonexistent. I had to request several times over five days before my room was cleaned and the bed linens and towels were replaced.
The entire hotel felt dirty and neglected. There was almost never any staff available, except for one employee who appeared to be doing all the work alone.
Given the rates charged, the quality and service are completely unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to stay elsewhere.

Overall, the staff were helpful and friendly; however, the hotel itself is not well maintained.

We stayed in a room that was advertised as one of the hotel's better rooms with a "garden view." In reality, the view consisted of two chairs placed outside in front of a hedge, which was disappointing and did not match our expectations of a garden view.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room was well below an acceptable standard. The carpets were visibly dirty, there were ants in the room, and the bathroom was particularly unhygienic. The toilet, including the toilet brush, was filthy, and the soap holder in the shower had a buildup of black mould that appeared to have been there for some time. It was so unclean that residue transferred onto the soap, making it clear the area had not been properly cleaned in quite a while.

While the staff did their best to be helpful, the poor maintenance and lack of cleanliness significantly affected our stay.

Beautiful hotel. Receptionist was very helpful & pleasant. 10mins from Copenhagen.

When whe arrived everything looked fine from the front of the building. Private outsite sitting area per room. Checking in was easy. The room looked good. Whe where at the back of the building looked out the back door and nothing but building waste, glass and a wooden fence that was falling appart. (Looked like a building zone) the gate was wide open so everbody could walk straight in. After that whe found out that the back door could not be locked and the door to the toilet lock didn't work either. Same with the neighbors doors. They where already calling the emergency number of the hotel and where on hold for an Hour. I messaged trough booking.com. And never had an anwsfer. I am still waiting for one. These should not have bin rented to people. Its non refundable and there is a cancelation fee when you cancel. Whe will not come back. Service is bad.

Room was clean and modern. Only downside was no air conditioning.

Very hot room, no airco or van.
Curtains can't cover the full windows so in the early morning the sun wakes you up at 5 o'clock. No rest and feels like a sauna. Hairs on the floor in the bathroom, dirty!
And the room next door was renovated with a LOT of noise at 7.30 am in the morning!!!! Breakfast was a joke, old and no taste. I paid 68 euro for this. Also they charged a deposit!!!!! Hope that they return this money.

I got what I paid for.

The facilities especially the self check-in and checkout plus the live support which was super helpful. A little worried seeing the not-so-nice reviews after I had completed booking but turns out I didn't experience anything in the negative. Probably the garden view from my room needs to be looked into, as the garden was very untidy and not a pleasant sight.

Very helpful and courteous staff. Good food for the price point. Room and bed were very comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and would return.

A hotels in Glostrup. Liked the part of easy check in/out, room is nice and clean. Tho had a dinner at their restaurant and got food poisoned 🤷🏻‍♀️so I don’t think I’ll come back

The room was a nice size, the bathroom needed more shelves, the water came out underneath the door when having a shower, nearly slipped on the tiles. Pillows were very hard. It was a double bed but had two separate single quilts .Breakfast was ok but very busy and had to take your own plates etc up to the trolley. However having a digital key was an advantage as you could go back to the hotel at any time in the evening. There was also no wardrobe facilities. Linen was also very clean.

If it were not for the pleasant and hardworking girl managing the restaurant at dinner, I would have given this a 0 star review.
The hotel seems to be focused on minimizing the workload of the employees, at any cost. Including guest convenience and general hospitality. Check-in and check-out was entirely up to the guest, handled through an iPad in the reception area. The reception is almost never manned, the breakfast is spartan and with low quality wares, and the room had silver fish running around. With a room temperature of 23-24 degrees, it was unbearably hot, making sleep a difficult endeavor. No air conditioning.
The fact that each table at breakfast (which doesn’t start until 7 AM) had a note on it asking the guest to clear the table of dishes, all while no less than three employees stood idly chatting behind the bar, sums up the experience.
Will not be returning.

Not a 4 star hotel. Clean your own table... Stinking perfume in the rooms... Poor drainage in the sink... No adjustment possibility of the heat... May be 2 stars.

The breakfast was fine, I enjoyed muesli and croissants. On the downside: I paid about 50 EUR to get into my room less than 2 hours earlier, I couldn't get hot water in the shower within 15 minutes (only slightly warm), it's overpriced for the single rooms of that size. If you're looking for accommodation during your stay in Copenhagen, better go to Malmö by train. I believe it's even closer to the city centre.

The Above Hotel was an amazing experience for my family member and I. We stayed two nights in an ascetically pleasing haven and it felt therapeutic.
The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The location is in the heart of Burnley making it easy to access shops and resources. The complimentary breakfast was delicious in the Foodhall downstairs.
I highly recommend the Above Hotel and I certainly will come back again

In the room, fridge was not working... who would like warm drinks from the minibar??? Bathroom with mould in the corner. Room 105 in the basement - from the lift you have to pass the service area and kitchen - very smelly corridor. Our room was never cleaned despite having put the "clean up sign" at the door.
At breakfast you ate asked to clean away your plates and dishes... canteen style in a 4* hotel? What is worse, nobody even bothers to clean the table after you have eaten. Quite room (back garden view) was quiet only with the window closed.
Anyway, breakfast was tasty (no coffee machine, though) and the hotel offers free parking for the quests.

The Staff are very nice and very friendly.
The Hotel itself is breathtaking, the sound system is so isolated that You don’t get noise from the outside expect the floor above me that someone was disturbing around 6 am with the sound of wardrobe opening.The food was excellent and I am so pleased with my stay .

Pros · Nothing at all, the beds are too hard or saggy. the sheets still had yellow stains in them. under the bed we found used condoms. staff are hardly approachable about the complaints and wave this away. asking if you can upgrade to another room you will be turned away.

Negatives · The rooms look slick on the picture. however on arrival you see that this is deception. burn holes in the curtains, stains on the bedding. used condoms under the bed. mold in the bathroom. no cooling in the rooms, minibar only cools when you are in the room and hardly when you are there. insufficient storage space for clothes. parking space on the terrace of the room. people park (including the owner) against the terrace of the room. you cannot open the door from the room to the outside because guests who park then walk into the room. unheard of sloppy staff. the complaint is not answered at the reception.
