DODGY DEALERS

DODGY DEALERS ! ZAK sold me dud car and ignored my calls and texts completely. I threatened to take legal action and find out they have changed business name. Drove past and saw ZAK sitting in office. Selling dud cars and changing business names. quick google search revealed multiple companies registered at this address. I have reported to my Bank, SMTA, Trading standards and FCA.

Lack of good Customer Service

Poor customer service- they never call you back. Once they have your money they don’t care. I was meant to get a text to confirm they had received the money on the Friday and a telephone call on the Monday which I didn’t get either. I had to call them on the Tuesday. They told me the car was £9,200 but on their website it was £8750 which I found out after buying it. The warranty isn’t worth it so avoid at all costs. My car broke down and the warranty company told me I needed to get a quote for the work and would send me a list of garages near me which they never sent and told me I had 7 days to get the quote. No garage wants to deal with them as they never get their money, spend all day phoning round garages. I phoned AIM Motors up on the Saturday and guy was pretty arrogant told me he’s so busy and loads of people to callback and would call me back in 2 hours. I knew I wasn’t going to get a callback so I tried again 4 hours later and rang out so I left a message. No callback on the Monday either so I called again and spoke with the manager and he told me they could help they have a mechanic. Fantastic, What a relief I thought but still waiting on my callback - that was on the 15 April 2024. I phoned nearly everyday for a week and they ignore my number so I used my partners phone and funnily they answered and told me the mechanic hadn’t turned up yet but would call me when they did. Why get my hopes up if you can’t help. I can’t drive my car and was meant to take my mum to hospital for a biopsy. We had to get a taxi both ways which cost us £80. Now I have to pay to get my car fixed when should be covered by the warranty. Only bought it 5 months ago. Avoid Aim Motors at all costs. They lack customer service! They also told me they couldn’t sell my car but was up for sale for 2K more than they gave me and was sold in 2 days. They are your stereo type car sales men- can’t trust them and they lie lie lie…

I am absolutely delighted with my Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo. AIM motors professional service and fine attention to detail with the car and customer care is 1st class. I would recommend to anyone to contact the group and will definitely keep the company as my number one choice for vehicles in future. 🙏🏻

Professional Service

Found the whole experience professional and efficient. The team was very accommodating and went the extra mile to get my car ready to me in time. The car is in immaculate condition and very reasonably priced.

Friendly family business

Spoke to Avis who said he would open up specially for us on a Sunday as we were travelling up from Yorkshire to potentially buy a car. Really friendly welcome & a lovely cup of tea which was welcome after a long journey up. Good quality cars in the showroom. Bought a lovely little Audi A1. Can recommend this family run garage.

Warranty is worthless

Pretty good experience buying the car but then they tried to hard sell an extention for Momentum Warranties. Sort of soured the experience and very glad I didn't take the extension as my power steering failed 3 months after sale and momentum said that as the car could drive it was wear and tear. DO NOT BUY THE WARRANTY - they'll use wear and tear for literally everything

Poor customer service

I called this dealership as I was very interested in purchasing a car which they have in stock. I explained I would be travelling by train from South Yorkshire to Edinburgh, circa 200 miles, and would I be afforded the courtesy of being picked up from the railway station. I was absolutely staggered when I was told due to staff shortages, I would have to walk to the dealership, approximately 10mins, apparently it is around 25 mins. If that’s the customer service prior to purchasing. The mind boggles how it must be afterwards. Frightening to say the least. Needless to say I will not be buying the vehicle.

Aim motors sighthill edinburgh first class service

We bought a car from this company and six months ago had a problem removing a punctured tyre (my husband is elderly ) so we were in a real fix because we would have had to pay 150 pounds for roadside assistance which we do not have.
We called kash at Aim motors who really did do us a favour and went the extra mile by putting us in contact with a local recovery team who charged 50 pound to remove the tyre and take us to collect and put on the new tyre.
The service we have received from Aim motors which are based in bankhead avenue sighthill edinburgh has been five star from beginning till now. Kash really went the extra mile in this. Thank you
