Great Tech Support and customer service
I had an issue where I could not get the generator to charge the batteries. I had contacted 2 electrician and neither of them couldn't get it to work. One even told he finished get another electrician. After contacting aims where we shared information backwards and foward over a couple days I was able to get it sorted out.
Thanks Tech from aims big shout out.

I had a question about the 6000 WATT…
I had a question about the 6000 WATT 240V split phase I bought a few years back. Being a novice to the exact workings of this device I sent a detailed description of what I thought the problem was. A tech responded quickly and addressed every concern I had. In short, electrical test equipment specifically meant for a normal home electrical system
is not meant to test an inverter. In my case I was using a simple plug in type outlet tester. I explained the situation I thought I had and the engineer walked me through it.

It's been about 7 years 100% duty…
It's been about 7 years 100% duty powering all of our 120v loads and emergency backup for the 240v. It's getting dated compared to some of the newer inverters coming out today but this thing runs everything all-day everyday. It starts the generator when the bank is low all on its on to charge the battery. I know there are clone and shadow brands but this thing has taken all types of abuse. Only thing I would do for any of there equipment is over size the DC cables.

Bad quality
If you are looking for an Inverter with metal cutting parts inside, look no further. AIMS inverters have Zero insurance quality and Zero Customer Service. Get a Renogy for cheaper or Giandel for 1/2 the price and the SAME thing. Do not spend money on this garbage, it takes less than 5 hours of use. I was at my Cabin when the inverter stopped working. Because your design has the fuses INSIDE the units, I decided to open the inverter to check the fuses (as you cannot fix them) and I saw the piece of wires inside the units that created the shortcut. If I didn't open I would not see the manufacturer's defects. I also found where this wire was cut from the ground welded wire to the plug's connector. They refuse to take their responsibility for a $300 unit. Be aware, maybe shake your inverter and listen for loose wires piece before using.
