Currenty looking at 30 hours delays if I am lucky and looking at the logs the delays I encountered are nothing unusual. The very worst. An embarassment for Star Alliance and the country. Good grief.

Anyone with health issues take note! Out for your money
My outgoing flight was delayed by over an hour. I called before my flight asking if there was anything I needed to do before hand to make sure my carry-on baggage was going to definitely be accessible on the flight as I have all my medical equipment on it, even paid for a seat so I would have definitely been able to put it under the seat in front of me. They said not a problem. I got a notification that my seat had been changed. I got to the gate extra early and there was already a long line, I made sure to ask them again, when they announced right away that there wasn’t going to be enough room for the carry on baggage and I asked with my seat if there was going to be any problem with my carry on and accessing it and my medication and equipment for the trip, they waved me off and said no, no. I got on and there wasn’t even a compartment over my seat because they put me at the very front row of economy which also meant no seat in front of me to stash my bag under! I told them I had to have my bag and they assured me that they would put it in first class for me. After takeoff, they blocked off first class, and I don’t know if it was a language barrier, but they told me I couldn’t go into first class to get it! Now trying to deal with rearranging my trip back and the app is not working but good luck getting in touch with them! I emailed them and got a case number but no response. I have called multiple times and been on hold for over a hour and no indication that I am in a queue or there is someone coming or that anything is happening and there is no chat or anything! You give them your money and then you are worthless to them! Never again! I will now always pay more for someone else! Anyone with health issues take note!
Try Porter airlines instead

You would think after 5+ years of the same message they would’ve figured out with their typical call volume is. Good luck trying to reach them. Whenever possible now I don’t fly Air Canada and choose Porter Airlines instead.
Worst airline ever
Worst airline ever. I wish I did not book with Air Canada. I'm trying my best to support locally but with this kind of service, it is unacceptable. Shame on you Air Canada! I will never fly with you again.
Air Canada is awful
Air Canada is awful. Delays . No reimbursement . Not enough flights . Horrible customer service . If I had options i certainly wouldn’t give them my business .
Absolutely abysmal
I would say without a doubt this has been the second worst set of flights my partner and I have ever experienced, only beat by an air canada flight that left my partner stranded in Toronto for a week waiting for a new flight with no compensation.
All of our flights were delayed. Well, one wasn't technically delayed but we sat boarded for over an hour so it might as well have been.
The first plane didn't have coffee or tea because they...didn't have enough water?
And the second flights bathroom was the most unsanitary thing I've ever seen. I used it shortly after getting into the air and it already smelled like an outhouse. Just straight piss. I highly doubt it was cleaned between flights.
I feel like an idiot paying 1000+ dollars to a company that's clearly going to take my money but not hold up their end of the deal. Absolutely abysmal for air travel in 2025.

Worst airline experience, even 3rd world countries do it better than Air Canada. What an embarrassment as a Canadian myself to have this as my online service to see my family
Scam
They refused to pay compensation for a canceled flight. They're leaving people to fend for themselves in a crisis. Avoid.
If I could give no star I would
If I could give no star I would. Four hour delay from Montreal to Cancun. No points on Aeroplan because group packages have to go to the kiosk at the airport and line up to present your card. But wait! That dosent work either. Return flight on the SAME plane was 5 hours late. Also called about missing points. Told to call again at end of week. Called. Was told to fill in a form and wait a few weeks because you cant call for this service. Also in October flew to Croatia and they lost my friends bag. Flight was Montreal-Paris-Split. She upgraded to business class for the first flight, they lost her bag in Paris. They blamed Croatia Air.....they lost the bag on October 3. They wrote her to tell her to contact Croatia Air on November 16th. Let the business FAIL and under no circumstances should ANY taxpayers money be used to suport this company.

I provide 1 star because I cannot provide 0. They have a very horrible customer service. They delayed my flight and can't provide a good reason for that. This is neither professional nor acceptable. I want to scale the claim to a higher level.

Horrific! The way the flight is booked is disjointed so my bags were not checked and my connecting flight was messed up !!!! Terrible. Never. Again.

They charged 1000$ to change the dates and only one luggage is include also their customer service is very poor, the agents talks so rudely I will never buy Air Canada and won’t recommend anyone

AC020 from SIN to YVR was a 14:33 hours long flight and didn't actually have a good experience there.
Leg space was too less to even sit and relax. The crew members seemed to be of a high attitude and not customer-oriented.
Provided some food without asking for any preference as if it's a free-of-cost favor by the airlines.
Also, a meal was provided soon after boarding the flight and then back again just 1:30 hours before landing, making us starve for about 12 hours, as if forcing us to do a semi-intermittent fasting.
Don't recommend travelling through Air Canada for long-hour flights, short flights might be okay.

The worst flight! The worst customer service. You need to wait for 1hour just to get water. Once they give you food tray they will pick up after 2 hours. Blanket is not free and the trmperature onboard was v cold. You can't ask them for anything as they see you with killing eyes.
Awful flights, grumpy fight attendants
Flew with Air Canada from UK and back as part of a much anticipated holiday.
The flights were awful. The attitude of the flight attendants grumpy and rude, the seats uncomfortable and cramped. My meal wasn’t defrosted and inedible, I was made to feel I was an inconvenience requiring a gluten free meal anyway. Snacks were provided for other customers, but when I asked if there was a gluten free snack (as it was cake, this would have been very easy to provide) I got an offhand blank no.
The flight from London was delayed for 3 hours due to a technical fault. It was hot and stuffy waiting on the plane, and communication was poor as all announcements were completed inaudible at the back of the plane.
One star was generous.
Horrible customer service regarding delayed baggage. The Air Canada app does not update accordingly and there is no way of ever speaking to a human. I've had to open two cases regarding my delayed luggage and also have yet to hear about the status of my baggage for five days. Truly unacceptable customer service. The only star I give is to the flight crew and on-airport customer service reps at the gate and ticketing. Other than that, horrendous service.
Just flew premium economy on Air Canada…
Just flew premium economy on Air Canada from Toulouse to Montreal. What can l say, uncomfortable seats, and awful, just awful meals. On the plus side, the staff on board were friendly.
