Great potential, but poor customer support and limited understanding that creating value is the ultimate goal. It took us three months to activate SMS on our U.S. number while the team kept promising... See more

Great app and HubSpot sync, just stay away from the web workspace
The desktop app runs circles around DialPad for quick calling, and setting up their AI voice templates to log straight into HubSpot freed up our afternoons from doing basic discovery screening. Had a couple of fuzzy calls and contact name glitches when we first launched, but Jan on support got us straightened out fast. Stick to the app though—the web version is way too cluttered and clunky.
I often say "You can shear the sheep…
I often say "You can shear the sheep over & over again but you can only cut it's throat once." That said, it's clear to me now that Aircall is in the throat-cutting business. I signed up for an outbound campaign service and agreed to pay $300 for 3 months. What they never disclosed and I never agreed to was added billing charges for outbound calls. I am now almost $2000 in the hole with not one positive outcome from my sales campaign. I would never have signed up with this company if I had bothered to read the other negative reviews here. Do yourself a favor and run, not walk away, from this company. You'll thank me later.
No ability to speak to a human being…
No ability to speak to a human being and address a specific problem. I work for a small business of 4 including the company owner, we don’t have a legal department or formal privacy policy. Air call requires one as part of a form we need to complete to send and texts. So my choice is to either make up a fictional one solely to complete their form or not use the text message feature which is part of the service we pay for.

Recently implemented AI agents to handle phone calls
We're a small sales team with little dev resources and the scheduling and discovery calls were eating our day. Same handful of questions over and over, and anything after hours just went to voicemail. We set up Aircall's AI Voice Agents using one the available templates, connected to hubspot, tested it on a real call, and were live that same week.
What surprised me is how natural it sounds. It doesn't talk over people, and when a call needs a person, it passes it to us with the full context. Customers are actually quite happy with how AI agents can speed things up, and that was the thing I worried about most.
I'd tell anyone nervous about AI to give it a try. Aircall made it a lot easier than I expected.
Charged after cancellation & number port-out – refused refund
I am writing this review to document a clear billing issue with Aircall.
Timeline of events:
On September 25, I successfully ported out all phone numbers from Aircall.
On September 26, I submitted a formal cancellation request for the subscription (3 seats account).
Despite the above, Aircall still charged my card on October 2.
I immediately requested a pro-rata refund, but the request was ignored / refused.
This is a 3-seat account. After porting out the numbers, one number was removed, which should have triggered a credit. Instead, I was charged for the next billing cycle after cancellation was already submitted.
Aircall’s own policy allows self-cancellation for accounts with 1–10 seats, and cancellation is supposed to take effect at the end of the current billing period. Charging after a valid cancellation and number port-out is unacceptable.
I have already opened multiple support tickets requesting a full refund of the October 2 charge to the original payment method. So far there has been no resolution.
I am now escalating this through my bank for a chargeback and will continue to pursue the refund.
Please process a full refund of the unauthorized charge immediately. If you do not resolve this matter and refund the overcharged amount, I will publicise your conduct on social media and various review sites. I have noticed that many customers have suffered the same unfair treatment as I have, and have even been deliberately delayed, resulting in charges being deducted – you are simply extorting money!! I do not rule out joining forces with other customers to take legal action!!

Worst customer service in the world
Worst customer service in the world. I have been charged over $600 on an account, that there has not been any use on at all. On August 4th, I brought this concern to Bouy,. He said contact billing, and I did. No one answered, no one paused my account and was charged again $260. I contacted the main 800 number about this twice. Twice they created tickets and closed them. Then the manager called me. I called back, he didnt answer. I sent two emails, Over the course of a week, there's no response. CS in the company is awful. Brett is sales was great. How is it possible to not have anyone capable on the phones? They outsource their main lines to India, and the Indians simply create tickets, that no one resolves.

Not a Valid Option for Businesses
1. They refuse to publish their customer support phone number on their website. 2. Their chatbot only offers to send emails/tickets, which you must select from their preselected options 3. Their mobile app NEVER worked correctly in over 12 months of service, no help was ever offered. 4. Their CRM integration was offered only basic features that did not allow for the organization of communcations.

My #1 calling software
Can make calls to most countries at an affordable cost. The interfaces with applications in my ecosystem: Pipedrive for CRM, Modjo for notes and commercial coaching are working smoothly.
It has quickly become my #1 calling software.

Very disappointed with the product
Very disappointed with the product. Absolutely no customer support after the sale. Have logged tickets, started chats & received no actual response except AI. Can’t receive any authentication texts to our numbers on Aircall so now we have been locked out of crucial accounts including banking. We have a business with 3 different numbers ported to Aircall. Buyer Beware.

Two days of silence, then a lecture
Upgraded to Professional for the power dialler. The quote came back with two AI Assist licences I never asked for. I asked for a corrected invoice and chased six times over two days. Nothing.
The only reply from my Customer Success Manager, Omar, was one line: "You have already signed the contract." My account was still sitting on Essentials the whole time. I'd signed for a dialler my team couldn't use.
When I pushed back, I got a lecture about my tone instead of the invoice I'd asked for six times.
Cancelled. Moved provider. Take the money, deliver nothing, then lecture the customer — that's the Aircall experience.

We recently onboarded with the company
We recently onboarded with the company, and Varsha was fantastic throughout the entire process - a real asset to the business. We look forward to seeing what we can do with AirCall!

Please don’t work with this company
Please don’t work with this company. They will charge you whatever they want, and there’s no way to get your money back. Even if you contact them, they never respond with a resolution. I lost $640 with them and received no resolution.

New sales inquiry logged last week…
New sales inquiry logged last week after spending 35 minutes on hold calling in, passed around the pass the monkey. Call booked today with an Account Executive
"1 minute past our scheduled call I get an email: My apologies but I will not be able to make our scheduled call today. Please use the attached link to book a new time with one of my colleagues instead.
A little heads-up would have been courteous.

They don't care about their customers.
They keep changing the Aircall workspace - not for the better - now if a customer calls in, and you use an integrated system with their dialler - you can't even see who is calling in. You can't use the autodialler feature, as you have to click two times to see who you're actually dialling. It was much better before, and now I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT! They are progressively making it worse with each update. They told my director that we are the only company complaining, when I have an email from them saying we are not the first to complain. They don't care about the functionality for their customers. If you are looking for a decent voip phone company, avoid this one at all costs.

Used Aircall 1+ year
Used Aircall 1+ year. Twice forced into unwanted extensions: missed a cancellation deadline with zero flexibility, then a full extra month at full price just to port our number out (16-20 day process, but no reduced/number-only option offered). Pricing/terms are opaque until you dig. Any flexibility only came after we pushed back hard. Calling itself worked fine, but the contract feels built to trap and upsell, not to let you leave cleanly. Track your dates closely.
